When Care has faded

CHAPTER ONE: New Life

Drake Deeps woke up to he smell of fresh cut grass and wet dew. He got up with a crack in his back.

"Oww! Where am I?"

He looked around to see unusual buildings. He got up and saw colored ponies all around him.

They all started to whisper and make faces at Drake. Sweat ran down his face with uneasiness and fright. They all nodded and looked fascinated but they didn't have the look of trust. Some of them looked mad. Just like they didn't want me here. 4 of them Shouted "Get the monster!"

They charged at him full speed. Drake didn't question to run for his life. He wasn't much of a athlete. More sweat came down his face. Drake was really scared that they would end him instantly.

Drake kept running. The place he was in is so big, like there is a never ending story.There was a forest near him. Drake thought he could lose them by entering the forest. So was his main thought at the moment. He entered the forest and tripped on a loose branch that made him land on his arm hard. A tear was shed, by Drake kept hearing the angry ponies following him. Upon running many minutes in the forest, Drake found a large bush that could cover him. He hid in the bush. Drake started to hypervale, he didn't the ponies to hurt him.

The sound of his hypervaling was replaced by the sound of his quiet crying. It was then he heard female type humming. It sounded VERY near. He took a peak out of the bush, but not very long. All he could make out was a yellow Peaguses. It was then he snapped a twig trying to position himself. The Mare snapped her head torward Drake. She walked slowly to him. She peeked in the bush and both Drake and the Mare screamed. Drake started crying and wailing to her.

"Please don't hurt me! I don't know how I got here! I just don't-"

The mare put her hoove on his lip signaling to calm down. It was them she spoke with a soft and sweet voice.

"It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you I promise."

Drake sniffles.

"Yo-Your not?" He asked sadly.

The mare smiles. "Of coarse not. I don't hurt anything or anypony. What's your name little guy? I'm Fluttershy."

Drake looked at her shyly.

"It's Drake. Drake Deeps."

The mare gasped in horror.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Drake asked quickly.

Fluttershy shook her head.

"You have wings Drake. Black wings."

Drake stared in shock as he felt his back. It was true. He had wings, Feather type wings.

Drake had his jaw open.

"I-I don't know how this got here!"

The Fluttershy looked at him in a sweet way.

"Don't worry. Are you lost Drake?"

Drake nodded in agreement.

Fluttershy  looked at him in a sad way.

"Awwwww. It's OK. Here. You can live with me. I'll take care of you."

Drake stared in joy. He hugged her and they went off to Fluttershy's home.
