When Care has faded

Drake got his honorary Cutie Mark Crusaders cape. He felt so excited to be in the group and find his cutie mark. The girls and him started rock climbing on the hill. Wasn't a very big rock, Just small enough so the gang can't be hurt when they fall. Drake was at the way top of the rope since he was alot bigger. Yet they didn't get their cutie mark so they crossed that off the list. Next was baking at the Sugar Cube Corner. They had no idea what they were doing so they just threw in the sweets. Scootaloo's tail got caught in the contraption so they were were left stuck together. No cutie mark either, so then they tried snorkeling. They thought it wasn't very hard. It was just swimming after all. But then they were chased by a giant squid in the lake. They got out and crossed that off the list with no cutie mark. The last thing they tried was A librarian. They went through so many books in Twilight's house. Once she got home, she told them that instead of trying to find one, just find something the girls are really good at. The Girls agreed and picked up the books and put them back then they were on their way.

Drake and the girls tried everything, But nothing came out right. Scootaloo groaned.

"How are we gonna find our cutie marks? I mean their is NOTHING!"

Applebloom thought about it then gasped in happiness.

"We could trah the Talent show comin' up!"

Drake and the girls agreed. It was better then nothing.

The girls  thought of something that the girls and Drake could do. Applebloom came up with something.

"How bout Scootaloo does the singing, Drake does the lighting and special effects, Sweetie Belle does the props and ah do the...Ummmm.... Dancing! Yeah!"

Sweetie Belle gave a look at her.

"But do you really know how to dance?"

Applebloom sighed in a stressed way.

"No. Ah don't. Ah know karate so ah could do that instead."

Scootaloo gave a smile.

"Then it's settled! I do the song, Sweetie Belle does the props, Drake does the lighting and special effects and Applebloom does the... "Dancing".

Drake gives a chuckle. This might be the chance Drake's been waiting for, they all cheer in great happiness.

It almost took all day for Drake and the girls to know how to do their thing. Scootaloo was trying to learn the piano and tune.

Applebloom was trying to do her dance. Sweetie belle was busy making the props. Drake was learning how to use the special effects. They all groan at once. Sweetie Belle was trying her best but it wasn't coming out right as she hoped. Applebloom kept falling in dizziness, Scootaloo kept messing up the tune. Drake had no idea what he was doing with the effects. After almost 15 minutes they all regrouped. Applebloom started up the conversation.

"How is everypony doin?"

Drake shook his head.

"Not so great. I have no idea what I'm doing!"

Applebloom looked at Sweetie Belle.

"How bout you?"

Sweetie Belle sighed.

"Not so great either, I don't think I'm good at art in my opinion."

Then Applebloom looked at Scootaloo.

"Not so great either huh?"

Scootaloo looked away.

"Not at all! I keep messing up the tune!"

They all sighed. They wanted for this to be good, but so far, they were messing up on everything. They needed a new plan. Something fresh, but then they just agreed to do what they have right now. Drake had at least two lights on, Applebloom had only her hooves and kicks right, Sweetie Belle got most of the needed props. And Scootaloo had mostly of the tune down. So then they agreed that what they have is ok and got ready for tonight.
