//-------------------------------------------------------// Of Rage and Power -by theblarglknight- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Test Subject //-------------------------------------------------------// The Test Subject I awoke to the sound of rhythmic dinging noise that always accompanies them. They do this every time they come. I always hope that one of them would forget, that one would show mercy on me just for today. But as the door to my room slides open I realize a horrifying conclusion. That isn't happening. There are two of them, one in a white lab-coat, and one with some metal-thingy that shoots more painful pieces of metal. I code-named the ones with coats "White coats" while I once over heard the word "Security" to describe the men in black armor and the metal-thingies. As they approach, the white coat walks forward with that little needle again. I hate needles. As he got close I took one last look around my room before it was put into my arm. The room was small, but I always found a bit of comfort in that. It was also really white; it had a single bed and pillow, though if I'm good they bring in a warm cloth called a "blanket" for me. But that was only if I didn't scream, which was almost impossible. My thoughts were interrupted as I felt the needle break my skin. I winced, to which the "Security" raised the metal-thingy at me, only to be 'shooed' by the white coat. If I hadn't have known the white coats all my life, I would have been thankful. But I realized at a younger age that they only don't want me to die because I was "The only living specimen" as they like to say. Whatever that means. The white coat brought out a little black box thing that I learned was called a "recorder" and started speaking into it. "Subject 13-X's vitals seem to be normal so far, though for later experimentation we will have to fix that at a later date. He also seems to be learning more and more with each passing month, though subject refuses to speak, we believe that he can communicate after the last 'incident' where he decapitated Dr. Mournwealth." The white coat paused as my eyes slowly began to close. This is always what would happen, I would be injected and fall asleep; only to wake up and go through "tests" as they like to call them. They would always make me use my brain. Whether it be to float stuff in air, or to kill an animal, they always come up with new test. But those ones are the ones I like. The other test they hurt me in. Needles, shocking, burning, and at one point shooting me was always the majority of the tests. I learned that I have a "fascinating healing capability" though I don't know what "fascinating" means I do know that any wound or injury I have heals pretty fast. "It's remarkable what science can create when trying to develope new bio-weapons," the white coat said. "I mean, to think that this boy could-" he was coat off as the security spoke up. "That thing ain't no boy doc," the armed man said. "I saw him kill the rest of the guards like a knife cutting through water. That thing is a killing machine, and as soon as you idiots realize that, then maybe we can finally put a bullet in it's head and try to develop some other weapon that we can control." Guards? I thought they were called security? Well, I guess it would be better to call them guards. I wonder what guards mean? The white coat chuckled. "Why at this point, I would have to say Mr. Brazer that putting a bullet in 13-X's head would logically be useless as you've seen from previous test," he looked back at me. "I mean, think about it. We have scientifically created the ultimate life form; now if only we could utilize it." The white coat concluded. The rest of the conversation I didn't hear for my vision slowly started to become blurry and grow dark. "Ah!... Specimen... Sedated... Test... Anger control..." Was all I could make out for the coat before sleep took me. I saw the faces again as they flashed in my mind. The red water was covering them as one's head seemed to be floating with a look of panic on it's face. "Fire! Fire! Kill that thing!" I heard a voice scream as the metal pieces pierced and racked through my body. I didn't feel any pain or fear as I turned around to face the guards shooting me. I raised my hand as one floated in the air suffocating as his friend's head slowly exploded into little meaty chunks and red water. As I slowly approached the suffocating guard, I could see the look in his eyes. It was a look I loved to instill in the white coats. Fear. As my palm slowly curled into a fist, the man's struggling worsened as he tried to scream in pain; his neck slowly getting tinnier and tinnier. As my hand made a fist there was a loud *CRACK!* as the man's neck caved-in. I let go of the lifeless corpse, watching it fall to the dream-scape ground with a *THUMP*. The red water poured from both bodies and started soaking my feet as I stared at them. "Yes. Good child. Give into your anger, release it..." A demonic voice whispered to me. It was soothing. Relaxing to hear it again, I saw more of the 'guards' come from the dark dream-scape. The looks on their faces showed ones of shock, fear, and hatred. It didn't take them a second thought when they opened fired. As the bullets came racing towards me at impossible speeds, I merely raised my hand and stopped all of them a few mere inches away. The faces became one of fear, as the guards began running away, trying their best to escape. No, I wouldn't let them. With a flick of my wrist, I felt the all familiar tug in my mind; sending the bullets back at the guards. Some screamed before they died. Some died without a sound. As I began walking towards them, I noticed one was still alive. I approached the bleeding body as he looked up with me; fear and tears evident on every expression he did. "P-please! I-I have a wife and d- daughter..." He said while pulling out a picture of a smiling family. "She- she's only eleven years old! Please!" He begged. I studied the picture, seemingly looking at the girl then towards the man. As I smiled, he seemed to have a look of hope in his eyes; a look that he knew he would live. All of that gratitude he was going to express towards me... Ended when his entire head caved in like a watermelon being hit by a hammer. I walked away from the bleeding corpses, knowing that the dream was ending. I don't know why, but I could always feel when these pleasant dreams were about to end. I braced myself for the end to come, somehow finding peace in the end; knowing full well the pain of reality would make me want to come back here again as soon as I could. I awoke again as I was on the hard, white floor that I always wake up on to do test. "Ah! Specimen 13-X is awake, commence the test." The loud invisible voice said as the door opened up to reveal a few animals in cages. "Now then, kill them." Was all the voice said as I looked at the animals. They seemed to be babies, one looked at me with curiosity, having pointy ears and feline eyes. I think these were called cats, it made a strange noise at me that snapped me out of my thoughts. "Meow!" It said as it looked towards the other baby cats in the cage. I took a look in the next cage as I noticed two tiny animals yapping at me. The curious things (http://huskydogblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/the-husky-puppies.jpg) were covered in fur and panting with one's tongue sticking out. They looked at me with adorable open eyes as one let out a yawn. I finally moved on to the final cage and noticed that it was a simple rat like the test before. I frowned as I looked at the other animals, moving my hand; I lifted one of the cats up into the air, scaring it a lot as it tried to fall or land on some ground that wasn't there. Well... It looks like I'll be sleeping with a blanket after all... Several hours later I awoke from the dream I was having, feeling the blanket that still draped over my body. It had been several hours after I had completed the various tests that the white coats put me through, some of my muscles still sore from them. I never even thought about what I did to get the warm blanket. Though they were so young, it was either them or me. I looked around the room, trying to spot anything new that would've woken me up. I then stop breathing as I hear something. I close my eyes as I try to listen to it. Run... I immediately opened my eyes as I got out of bed. I looked around the room, wondering who would tell me to run. Finally, as I near the metal door; I hear a slight click of something being unlocked. Curiously, I approach the door. As I near it closer, the door slides up and open revealing the dark hallways that surround my room. I didn't know what to do. All my existence has been test, pain, and very few comforts. With the door open, I realized I could escape. I almost let out a yell of excitement, before covering my mouth and looking out the door both ways to see if anyone heard. As I take a step into the darkness, the familiar feeling of the cold tiled floor sending a shiver up my spine. "Go, make the red water spray all over you!" I covered my ears as the demonic voice was back. I have heard him before, he tells me to kill things, to send the red water all over me. I ignore him the best I can. But sometimes, I need him to fight back. It was him that has been my only companion throughout my life. A thing like me, you could understand why I wouldn't want to talk to security or the white coats. I start walking quietly across the tile floor, noting that my vision adjusts itself after a minute or two. The hallways were clean, then again; I knew this for I wasn't always drugged and brought to the chamber. When I was younger, I would travel with several of the guards, all of them seemed to be afraid of me; though I never found out why. I stop as I clutch my head again, the voice trying to force itself into my mind. "I SAID KILL! STRIP THE FLESH! SALT THE WOUND! BREAK THE BONES!" "Agh!" I cried out in pain as I clutched my head. The pain was immense now, I've let him take control before but his blood-lust has never been this bad. I could feel him now as my entire body started going numb. My vision began to turn a dark red as he was gaining control. As I finally fell to my knees, a voice yelled in fear from behind me. "Holy- THE SUBJECT HAS ESCAPED!? SEND FOR BACK UP NO-" The guard behind me never finished as his entire upper torso was ripped off his body. "Now then," My voice said darkly. "Let the bloodbath, BEGIN!" With that said, my body sprinted down the hallway looking for its next prey... Author's Note First chapter of new story, tell me what yall think!? //-------------------------------------------------------// The Monster //-------------------------------------------------------// The Monster {perspective change to 13-X's psycho killer side.} 'Ah, it feels so good to be free again.' I thought as decapitated a scientist, his head showing features of pure pain and fear. "EVACUATE THE FACILITY! 13-X IS ON THE LOSE!" A guard screamed as he raised his gun to me. I merely smiled as I flicked my wrist, severing both his arms from the weapon. "Ahhh! Ahhh! No- GUGERRLDKR!" He screamed then gurgled as I collapsed his throat. Blood oozed out of his mouth as his body slumped against the nearest wall. Blood smeared on the wall now thanks to his two crimson stumps he used to call arms. I breathed in and exhaled in satisfaction. "Feels so good to be able to kill again." I said to myself as I began walking through yet another lab. The animals that I walked by merely dropped dead as I made sure to give each and everyone a brain seizure. I remembered a new age song that I once heard one of the scientist playing, then again; it seemed like a long time ago. Humming the tune, I started singing the lyrics. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMMV_RoEMxE&feature=player_detailpage) I see a Bunsen burner on one of the tables, lifting it up with my mind; I bring it to the door way where I light it. With the flame now turned on, I toss it as hard as I can against one of the tables, setting it ablaze in an inferno of death. I smiled as I stood there and watched as the fire consumed the entire room, the smoke going around me as I willed a protective shield around myself. Continuing my walk, I see an entire platoon of guards at the end; guns raised, lasers pointed at my entire body; I smile as they are ready to fire at any given notice. "Gentlemen, gentlemen," I start as I raise my hands, "do you honestly expect to try to kill me? I'm a bit disappointed." I pout as I furrow my eyebrows. They all fired simultaneously, doing their best and hoping I would be dead within seconds. Finally after a minute, the bullets stopped; signalling that they most likely had run out of ammo. As the dust cleared, their faces turned to one of shock as ALL the bullets they had just fired seemed to be floating in mid-air. I smiled maliciously as I shoved my hand out, throwing every single bullet into the platoon at the speed they were fired. The after effect was glorious carnage. Bodies were almost disintegrated into bloody pulps as the bullets tore through each and every security guard. Ribs, brains, eyes, tongues, bits and pieces of flesh and tons of blood littered the hallway as I began walking and stepping over the corpses. I giggled as I decided to make a joke to help pass the time. "Clean up on isle everywhere!" I yelled back at the corpses, getting a silent response. I continued on my way until I noticed a sign above one of the branching hallways that read: Warning, particle accelerator testing chamber; wear hazmat suit at ALL times. At reading this, I smiled; not knowing what particle accelerator meant, but DO knowing that it sounds like it could cause a lot of havoc when destroyed, I began my journey down the hallway. It wasn't before long I noticed empty labs and papers strewn everywhere. I also finally notice the loud alarm going off. "Strange I only noticed that now." I said offhandedly. "No matter, time to have some fun!" I said enthusiastically as I noticed a big machine at the end of the hall in an extremely large room. I approach the large metal door. Studying it as it was the only thing between myself and my objective. Sighing, I press my hand against the door, bending it like tinfoil with my mind until it was completely opened up. Stepping through, I notice the machine looks like some kind of large door without the actual door to it, only the outline of it. I study a bit further before hearing marching boots on a balcony above me. "There it is!" One voice shouted followed by the clicking of rifles. "You fleshies never learn..." I say as I swipe my hand, shoving the one who announced me to the rest off the balcony where he landed head first with a satisfying *CRACK!* of his skull caving in. After that I decided enough playing around, dashing to my left; I avoided the oncoming fire of bullets as I took cover behind some crates. As minutes ticked by, the guards came down from the balcony and slowly began to advance to my location. "Tick-tock, ding! Time to die." I state as I use my mind to lift the heavy crates into the air, tossing them in the direction of the guards. One was hit directly as the crate bounced on top of him, taking his upper body with it in a bloody smear; while the other managed to dodge at the last second. I grunted as they fired at me, merely stopping the bullets the same as last time. But instead of throwing them back, I merely let them clatter to the ground like pebbles as I slowly began to advance on the pitiful humans. One took out his side arm and began firing directly at my head, each bullet missing entirely as I turned my head back and forth. As the *CLICK* of an empty weapon sound, the guard looked up as I was now face to face. The fear in his eyes and my devilish smile was the last thing he felt and saw as slammed my palm to his face, sending a sonic frequency through his skull that literally melted his brain on the inside. The corpse fell heavily to the ground, blood and brain matter leaking from any orifice it could escape by. "That only leaves one..." I say as I turn to find the last of my prey is not there. Frowning, I begin searching the area; trying to find the fresh meat to rip limb from limb. But as I lift some boxes into the air to see if he was hiding behind them, I hear a strange sound from behind me. Turning, I find that the machine that looked like a door seemed to have been activated, curiously; I stepped closer to the vortex that was being created. The light it was emanating was a dark blue, but the vortex itself seemed to have hypnotized me with its spinning colors. As I was up close to it, I heard a voice from behind. "If I'm gonna die! I'm taking you with me you monstrous baaassstttarrrd!" The last guard war cried as he charged at me. Breaking out of my hypnotic trance, I notice too late as I am shoved into the vortex; but before I truly enter, I make sure implode the security guard for finally ending my existence, his blood and organs scattering everywhere in the room. An extraordinary death, for an extraordinary combatant. When my body enters the vortex, the only word I can describe it as is simple yet cannot do it justice. Pain. Pure, unfiltered, uncontrollable pain coursed through every fiber; no, every molecule of my DNA that itself felt as if it was tearing apart then getting put back together. But the worse part was the speed. I could see glimpses of things going so fast a normal human would most likely not notice. Wars, death, nature, beauty, all these things passed. Sadly I could not enjoy them do to the unbearable amounts of pain that were tearing off my skin and muscle tissue. "AAAAaaaaAAARRRGHGHG!" I screamed as I wished for it to end, begged for it to end. As if my wishes were granted, it stopped. My body hit some soft stuff that was unfamiliar to me, but I merely shrugged it off as I slowly began to lose consciousness. I knew the boy would take over once our body heals, but he most likely will only remember the pain of what that machine did instead of the glorious blood bath we both caused. Those were my last thoughts as the darkness of the boy's mind encompassed me again, good-bye freedom; hello prison! Inside the Everfree forest. "Good-bye little Applebloom! I hope to see you very soon!" Zecora called to Applebloom as she began galloping through the forest, waving good-bye in return. She continued for a few minutes before she smelled something funny. Curiously, she followed the weird stench to its source, but what she saw made her want to vomit as she realized that her curiosity made her see a sight she wish she could un-see. Author's Note Okay, so first and second chapters; I will be working on the next chapter tomorrow but I want you guy's input on what you think so far, also I know the particle accelerator most likely couldn't send someone through time or another dimension, but I couldn't really think of a good name for it, so sorry about that. Anyway, like, favorite, and comment. And I wish you all a very pleasant night. //-------------------------------------------------------// Rage of the Beast. Folly of the Subject. //-------------------------------------------------------// Rage of the Beast. Folly of the Subject. Applebloom wanted to vomit. Sitting in the bushes, looked like some kind of creature of the Everfree forest, yet; it had no skin! It's muscles and tendons were exposed to the outside world, but the worst part about it was that it was still alive. Applebloom was almost in tears at the creature's suffering, that is until it's eye's laid on her. She froze as they both stared at each other, before finally the creature; much to the painful yelps and groans, began to try to move away from her. "Wha- what did this to you?" She whispered as the creature was leaving a blood trail in the grass. Then, as she lost sight of the strange, almost dead creature; she thought. 'I can't just leave the poor thing,' she thought as she considered what to do. 'I-I have to fine someway to help it, but how-' she gasped as she realized what she would have to do to end the poor things suffering. She knew about death and all the such ever since her favorite cow and friend Betsy had to be put down because of rabies. She couldn't help but tear up at the old memories of her, but as she looked around she noticed that she couldn't even hear the dying creature anymore. "Too late..." She began as she walked back the way she came with her head hung low. It wasn't until she heard shuffling further down the path that made her look up from the ground. What she saw struck fear in her, making her immediately begin sprinting in the opposite direction while screaming the terrifying thing's name. "TIMBER WOLF!" The wolf was large, extremely large. The bark on it was much darker, giving it an almost burnt look to it. Applebloom did the only logical thing to do. She ran. Her lungs were in overdrive as she galloped as fast as her legs could take her. She wasn't a small filly anymore, true she was still becoming an adult she hadn't yet even experienced her first heat cycle like most mares do. But back to the point, she was able to keep a good pace without getting tired. Not daring to look back she could almost here the beast's breaths as it was a few paces behind her, slowly catching up. It wasn't until she tripped that the slowly rising fear overtook and caused her to freeze as she saw the beast now slowly approaching her. Breaking out of her fear induced trance, Applebloom used her hind-hooves to slide back as far as possible until she lid into a tree. She was scared, extremely scared. 'This is it.' Applebloom thought as her eyes began to form tears. 'I'll never see my brother, or my sister ever again,' The wolf was almost upon her, ready to pounce. 'Please, Celestia; Luna, please help me!' Applebloom shut her eyes tight. But she opened them in shocked when she heard something that sounded like an explosion, looking up, she noticed splinters and bits of wood all over the place. She then heard breathing as she looked to the bushes to find something like the same creature as before, but this one had skin on. It looked at her as if studying her, before finally walking off into the dark depths of the forest. Applebloom was shocked to say the least. She thought the timber wolf would be the death of her, yet it just exploded and she caught site the creature now saw fully skinned. 'Maybe it was a relative? Maybe the mother or father?' Applebloom asked herself these questions trying to find the answer. 'Twilight might know!' It was with that thought she realized she had to get to Ponyville. Getting up, she sprinted into what she thought was the right direction of Ponyville; she had to tell ponies about this creature. Applebloom just hoped that the creature would be friendly if seen again. Perspective change to 13-X I open my eyes, almost immediately wanting to scream. My body hurt all over, I felt exposed and yet in such terrible pain. Even the test the white coats would do never felt as bad as this. I try to get up yet it hurt to much to even move; I hear something to my left. 'Have to get away. Pain. Have to find haven. Suffering. Have to find place to rest.' My thoughts jumbled as I fought through every suffering fiber in my body. I looked to the bushes to see something that resembled something I've never seen before. It was about the height up to my waist, thought I never knew how tall I was; though I was small compared to the guards/security raising up to only there neck. As I looked into it's eyes, I don't know why but fear over took me as I realized I had to move. "Urgh, uuuuuuuugghr!" I mumbled as I tried to crawl towards some green plant of some kind. I also realized there was a lot of things I didn't know the name for. They seemed like wood, but they had green plants on them as well, there were plants everywhere. Some hanging from trees, some on top of them; I was even laying on smaller versions of the plants that hurt when my body was slid over them. I continued crawling until finally I could feel the familiar tingling sensation that meant my body was healing. I closed my eyes for about five minutes as the pain slowly started to vanish. As the final pieces of skin started to heal up I decided it was time to go. As I stood up on the small tiny blades of plants, I almost giggled as they kinda tickled my feet. Looking around, I noticed it was very dark yet peaceful. The new sights around me kinda had me a bit awestruck. I always wondered if there was life outside the hallways and test chambers, yet I never would have imagined it to be like this. I began walking as I also noticed a few animals scurrying across the ground, I watched as some would look up at me in fear and run into the bushes. 'Pathetic creatures aren't they? Always terrified of something bigger than them; kill one, show them your might!' The voice yelled in my head, I merely ignored it since I didn't appear to be in any danger. I pass through a bunch of the more clumped up plants that pulled at my skin, scraping and cutting it, yet I was use to these kinds of pains. I continued walking until I heard a voice that sent me into a defensive state of mind. The voice was loud, yet it was enough to feel that tug in my mind that meant at a whim; I could kill anything with a thought. "Timber wolf!" The voice that screamed seemed almost familiar, yet I couldn't remember how I knew that or why. I exited through a bunch of the more clumped up plants- "'Bushes', they're called bushes whelp. It would also be wise to leave this forest." I ignored it again, but this time I had to agree with it. This "forest" as he called it made me comfortable. There were too many sounds and movement to my liking and not only that, there seemed to be certain smells that I found nice yet also had a feeling to stay away from them. I passes by some purple plants; flowers if I remember what the white coat's had said. I wanted to touch them, but again I had that feeling that they were dangerous. I continued my small walk through the forest, listening for anything besides the sounds of scurrying animals and bugs. I passed by a few bugs that seemed to glow and had large bulbous eyes, they were spherical in shape but appeared to be curious and not hostile. That didn't mean I had not let my defenses down though; as soon as one got to close, it didn't have time to think as it's little body exploded, or more like poofed into a very tiny gory mess of green gunk. I sighed as a little bit got on my torso. I continued through the forest until I found a small trail that looked like something was dragged across it. Curiously I followed it. I had always been fascinated with new things, living in a 12 X 8 room can do that to anyone yet I always found it comfortable. I remember when the white coats' once brought in a "Toy" as they called it. They told me to "play" with it but I didn't know what they meant. When I heard to play with it, I thought they meant to tear it limb from limb which is what I did; I never did see anything similar to the toy ever again. I finally reached the end to notice a creature that seemed to be made out of wood. The creature I was not worried about as I could easily kill it; what did worry me though was the creature that was hiding in an indenture of one of the large wooden-like plants. 'They are called trees and it seems that a predator is trying to earn it's prey.' I looked to see he was right as the wooden creature was trying to get something that was trying to stay out of it's grasp by further backing itself into the crevice of the tree. I looked at the wooden creature as it bit into the trunk. I heard a squeal of pain as it apparently nipped the creature inside the tree. "Please! Anypony! Help me!" A voice yelled, it was familiar yet I couldn't put where I heard it from. I had a few choices one of them was to leave the small creature to be eaten by the wooden one. Or to save the small one and simply kill the larger beast. 'Why not just kill both? It's simple, easy and will save us time!' I stared for another few seconds as I felt the tug in my mind readying. I pushed my hand towards the wooden beast, sending it's body into a blast of tiny wooden fragments as the creature's body was no match for my power. I stared at the destroyed body, pieces of the beast's face and lower jaw lay around the ground as well as it's now splintered body. I look at the small creature inside the tree. 'Be safe.' I thought as I walked away. I know I can talk, but whenever I try it almost feels like something is stopping my voice from coming out. I ignore this thought as I realize I have more important things to do. I continue down the path as I search for a water source, finding a small pond; I bend low to drink only to be stopped by the voice. 'Foolish whelp! Still water is dangerous, search for moving water to drink! ' The voice berated me as I decide to do as it ask. I don't like him, it, but he at least helps me stay alive. I sighed as felt another piece of the tree whip across my bare torso leaving a long cut that began to leak the red water, then healed up. The pain as the white coats call it, is something people like them feel that makes them extremely uncomfortable. They tend to yelp or scream depending on the type of pain, but with me it actually feels kinda nice. A small stinging sensation that reminds me that I am in control, that he isn't. I finally reach a moving water source, the sound of it's speed making a relaxing sound. I've never seen something like it, though when I ask the white coats would usually say it was nothing special, just H2O or whatever that meant. But when I saw it, I came to the realization they were wrong. I saw a white glowing orb in the sky reflecting off the water's surface, while also remaining in motion. I noticed small creatures that didn't have any other appendages besides fins, just like the fish that the white coats would occasionally bring in for me to eat if I was good. The sight had me captivated. It was all just... Just so beautiful and... And... 'Peaceful, hmmm. Drink then let us leave, I want to kill something whelp.' Just like that, the scene almost seemed to have lost it's luster that I saw mere moments before. I sighed again as I sent my head down and dunked it into the moving water. It was cold, extremely cold; I brought my head up immediately with a gasp at the sensation. My teeth chattered a bit but I seemed to have been more aware of my surroundings now. I looked up into the glowing orb in the darkness ahead of me. I think I remember it being called sky, I don't know where I learned that word or how I knew it, but it just felt right. The sight was also beautiful, but I almost felt a sense of relation too it for whatever reason, like the orb and I had a invisible connection to the world around us, untouchable; yet always there, watching, learning, just trying to live. I began my walk following the opposite direction of the stream, that is until I noticed something. There seemed to be a larger fish up ahead, a lot bigger than the occasional ones I would see in the stream. It was extremely long as well, purple scales seemed to cover it's body, it had orange hair on the top of it's head and left on it's face. On the other side of the face I noticed a large tangle of purple hairs that seemed a bit out of place on the creature. I tilted my head as I slowly approached it, prepared for any attack it might try. It turned to look at me, surprise written on it's face when it saw me; when it spoke though, it was my turn to seemed stunned an shocked. "Oh my goodness! What in Equestria are you wearing!?" It yelled in astonishment as it came closer, making me take a step back at how fast the creature was for it's size. 'Kill it. Now' I merely looked at the creature in shock as it went around me to see the other sides of me. "This will not do! What happened to you kind sir? I noticed you were walking out of the Everfree forest, yet I don't think I've ever seen a creature like you." The giant long fish stated. I tried to respond only for a sound and a cough to erupt from my mouth. The creature looked at me with some form of pity. "Oh dear can you not talk? Poor thing, well don't you worry your silly little clothed bottom I know just the pony to speak to!" The giant exclaimed as he began to slither a little into the water, pointing in the direction I was going. "Just over there is the most kindest pony you will ever meet; the dearest name is Fluttershy and she is always looking to help animals who are hurt that come from the forest! Now then if you excuse me I have to go back to styling my hair." With that the giant fish creature submerged itself so deep into the water that I no longer saw it. I sat there as I thought about what that beast had said. In all honesty, I was almost about to break down and cry as I finally realized that I think I might be free; no more test, no more guards, no more pain. I looked down to my naked torso as I also realized that my pants were torn and tattered from the trees' attacks. I sighed as I looked back up to the glowing orb in the sky, it's white glow lighting the ground I walk on just enough to see, but dark enough to cast the world around me in shadow. 'Fluttershy.' I thought as I made sure to remember that name. 'Either she will do what the creature says, and maybe I can finally have a family; or maybe this is all a trick of the white coats!' I thought as I scanned the area around me. Maybe it was just another test? But why did it feel so real then? I shook my head as I looked towards the direction of this "Fluttershy". As I begin walking again, I am pestered by the voice. 'You foolish little ingrate! I know you do not like bloodshed, but these beast are dangerous; just like the white coats! They will find you, they will hunt you, and finally they will imprison you! Do you not see that!? We are the ultimate life form! We should use our power to show them that! Yet here you are, talking to creatures that leave you in you silly little stupor; no, you will be mine soon, then and only then I can truly show you what to properly do with the creatures and other life forms you come across.' The voice stated aggravatingly. I thought about what it said. I know I could kill anything that got in my way, I also enjoyed the red water; the way it sticks to my clothing and skin and just the sheer color of it makes me happy. But nothing has attacked me yet; this is why I haven't killed anything besides the wooden monster. But then why would I kill it? More importantly, why did I wish that small creature to be safe? Many questions were racing through my mind as I finally noticed the sound of the moving water was getting less and less noticeable. I saw up ahead a large indent of stone that connected over the water. I shook my head at these creatures architecture. It seemed so, strange. As I walked across the stone structure going over the water, I notice a very strange tree. It was large, yet I could see many small hidden animals scurry one way or the next. As I approach a wooden door, I merely listen inside. "Angel have you seen Mr. Wuffles? Oh, never mind I found him. Ooh! Mr. Quackers can you not chew on Ms. Toucan, she's really sensitive about her tail. Oh my goodness! I forgot to go by Twilight's library an return her book! Ooh, I hope she won't be to mad-" The door opened as I looked in surprise to find a yellow quadruped with wings and pink hair looking at me. We stared at each other for a few seconds before she "Eep!"ed and slammed the door. I tilted my head curiously as I began to think on what this notion could mean. 'Did it close it because I was in the way? No, I saw fear in it's eyes; maybe if-' I was cut off as the door opened slightly as two eyes peered from behind the door. I merely stared with my head tilted as I watched it very slowly open the door. "Oh, my..." It spoke barely above a whisper, "Excuse me, um; Mr. Creature?" it asked as it looked up to me, shivering very badly. I stared at her; I felt a tug in my mind however as I noticed a round oval-ish object stop mere inches from the side of my head, suspended in the air. The small quadruped looked shocked before she spoke up. "Oh! How, how are you doing that?" She asked in wonder. However, I then stopped a flying orange thing that had a bit of plant on the end of it. I noticed where this object came from and noticed a white bunny behind the quadruped. It hefted another orange object that looked like it was half eaten. The bunny had a glare and sneered as it finally noticed I was staring at it. Immediately, I suspended the bunny in the air, slowly suffocating the creature. "Hmm, I wonder where that carrot and acorn came from?" The small quadruped said as she stared at the "acorn" which was the brown oval-ish object. "Oh! I forgot to tell you my name; I'm Fluttershy!" She said in a sweet voice that actually made me smile. 'Wait a minute, Fluttershy! That was the name the giant purple fish said would help me!' I thought as I released my choking hold over the bunny, it gasping for air. Fluttershy turned around at the gasping noise, gasped, and then ran over to the gasping bunny. "Oh my goodness! Angel what happened to you!?" She said in a very worried tone as she comforted the bunny called "Angel". I glared at him as he looked to me in fear. That glare dissipated however as Fluttershy turned back around to face me. "I'm sorry Mr.- Oh my I don't think I've heard your name, would you mind telling me?" I thought of her request as I haven't really talked in a really, really long time. When I say that I mean in terms of conversation. I opened my mouth to say something but all that came out sadly was a dry cough and and realization. I guess my insides were still regenerating from my little "trip". So as I looked back to Fluttershy, I turned around so she could see my name on my back, I turned back however after a "Gasp!" only to notice her almost in tears. She flew up to me and embraced me in both of her limbs in a tight maneuver, I almost imploded her as I thought she was trying to attack me but the embrace lessened as she looked at me with her tear coated eyes. "W-W-Who did thi-this t-to y-you," her eyes seemed to make me angry, yet also gave me; what's the human emotion? Oh, I remember now. Regret. Her eyes made me regret those that I've killed. But also seemed to make realize that I killed in desperation. I- 'Weak.' I froze as I could feel him trying to form a grasp in my mind. 'No, not her. I won't let you attack her.' I thought back to him. 'Well, well; weak and spineless. I am disappointed whelp, you lack the certain obedience that you use to have towards me. Why is that? Have you realized that your out? Your free! Yet you don't do what we were meant to do.' The voice finished in an accusing tone. 'What do you mean?' I thought in question; was he trying to prove a point? 'WE WERE BORN TO KILL! WE WERE CREATED TO KILL! AND IF YOU WON'T HELP ME SOON! I WILL KILL!!' I stood there think as Fluttershy was saying something or the other about other animals living here. To the most extent, he was right. I was created to kill; that doesn't mean I have to. I shook my head at how confusing things were becoming; the one thing I loved about being in the white-coat's gloved hands was that I had a routine, one of which I now don't have. So all this new information started making my head hurt with great pain. 'Pain that I'm used to...' I thought sadly. I bore through it as I continued following Fluttershy into the living room; I don't even know when we got here. "This is where you'll be staying Mr. X." She said as she lead me to the cushioned piece of furniture that I remember seeing at the door. I looked at her, then the cushion, then back to her. 'Did she call me X? And does she really expect me to sleep on that?' I raised an eyebrow at her in anticipation that this is some kind of cruel joke. It was not. As she left, I noticed a mark on her rear that made me want to ask a question. Sadly, I couldn't talk. With a sigh, or at least a garbled tongue flick. I walked over to the cushioned piece of furniture. It was decent in size, though as I poked I realized that it was soft, which put me in a bad situation. I had never tried to sleep on anything soft before. My bed in my room was a flat piece of cold metal. Almost like a large rectangle, I remember they said it would "help keep your spine healthy" or whatever that was suppose to mean. I was snapped out of my stupor by more movement from all the animals in the house. I could feel eyes all over me; eyes that can easily be popped out of heads. Coming back from stupid thoughts, I looked around to see if that white rabbit was anywhere to be found. I find that the best way to hunt an animal, is to try to guess where it will be hiding; so with that, I walked outside to search for my prey. I circled the enormous tree several times, sensing all sorts of various animals; I also found more rabbits, but they were not the ones that attacked me. No, this Angel decided that he wanted to test his might against me, plus I have no remorse when it comes to killing animals, for some I feel bad but it's me or them. I sensed something though, a disturbance that set off a tingling in my mind. I looked up in time to notice a large box-like-thing fly over head and land far away from me. I shook my head at the outside world's creations and creatures. Talking quadrupeds, wooden predators, Trees!? This was all starting to make my head hurt. As I turned, I walked back around the giant tree to the door and opened it. What I saw was Angel giving me a fearful look, but what looked like a box wrapped in decorated paper. I raised an eyebrow at him; what was he trying to do? 'Token of honor or respect perhaps? Ooh! But he's terrified, I say we destroy him after giving us this box.' I agreed with him there, the box seemed to have no openings though, glaring at the rabbit, Angel made a tearing motion with his tiny paws. I hesitantly grabbed an edge of the decorated paper; I almost wanted to destroy him now then open it but my curiosity over-powers my anger and need for revenge. I tear the piece of paper off, revealing an opening to the box but it seems I must remove all the paper to truly uncover the box. Shredding the paper to pieces, I finally get down to a cardboard box. I take the top off and notice something strange inside. It was a small animal, but it was black with a white stripe going down it's back. It seemed to have fallen asleep. Putting the lid back on, I placed the box down. Turning around, I looked for Angel so I could tear his little body to little bits and pieces. Noticing he was gone, I merely decided to kill him later. It was at that moment Fluttershy walked in again. "Oh, Mr. X, if you need anything, anything at all; please let me know, also I want to know who gave you those, scars." She whispered the last word with a shiver. I tilted my head again in confusion as she left. Turning back to my "bed" I noticed that I was just small enough to fit it, yet I realized I might have trouble sleeping on it. I finally rested my head on one of the cushions, the fluff encompassing my head. I slowly closed my eyes as I waited for sleep. I had hundreds of thoughts going through my mind, but there was one thought that made me smile. I'm free. Canterlot Castle, Throne room. In the throne room sat four beings. Four very powerful beings. Three seemed to be alicorns, while the other was a mix matched between every chaotic animal in Equestria. "I guess you are all wondering why I asked to speak with you all?" A purple alicorn named Twilight said. "Well if it involves me then I guess it has to be important; so tell me Princess Twilight, what do you want?" The Draconequus named Discord spoke in an almost taunting fashion. "This is no time for games Discord, whatever Twilight has found must be important; now please continue Twilight." Celestia, the white alicorn said. "Well, princess; it started earlier tonight when I was trying to summon a familiar-" "Twilight! Does thou know that a familiar is extremely dangerous!?" Luna exclaimed in shock. "Sister, your using the old tongue again." Celestia said as Luna blushed. Discord was just happy to watch the princesses bicker among each other as he always enjoyed a good cat fight, though must of the time with professional hamster wrestlers. The Neighadian kind. "I know princess Luna, it's just I was practicing my magic and I wanted something to challenge me. I didn't finish however..." Twilight looked away deep in thought. "What do you mean Twilight? What happened?" Celestia asked, now clearly intrigued of her former student's worry. "Well, I sensed something. I don't know what it was but all I know is it felt wrong." She shivered as she remembered the sensation. All she wanted to do was make a small familiar, to have a companion that could not only protect her but remind her of her friends. Twilight sighed as she missed the simpler times. "I know it is hard being a princess Twilight, believe me I've been doing it for a long time now. But you still haven't told us what this sense is. Do you think it could be something evil lurking on the horizon?" Celestia asked, concern evident in her voice. "Well whatever it is, it should be able to liven the place up a little. I mean come on Celly; how long has it been since we've had a good chaotic creature come into our lives hmmm?" Discord smiled a toothy grin as he knew the answer to that. "Discord, if what it is Twilight sensed chaotic, I'm pretty sure you would have something to do with it. If you did, your going back to stone." Celestia said sternly as she turned a glare to the now floating chaotic god. Discord frowned as Celestia still didn't trust him, but shrugged as he realized he really didn't care. "Well if your going to be that way about fine. As you were saying Twilight." Discord waved a claw in Twilight's direction, clearly frustrating her a little. "As I was saying, I just have a really bad feeling about this. It was nothing I ever felt before and I just felt like sharing it with you all." Twilight said as she looked around the room. Luna merely dead-panned while Discord chuckled at the paranoia of the young student. Celestia however still seemed concerned. "Thank you for informing us Twilight, if anything comes up will be sure to let you know, now then sister it's time for us to change the day to night." With that Celestia walked out of the throne room with Luna in tow. Discord watched them go then heard the closing of another door as Twilight left. He stood there for what seemed like a minute before shrugging and heading to the kitchens to raid the pantry. Seeming like the god of chaos needed a snack. Deep within 13-X's mind. I paced back and forth as I was trying to come up with a plan to gain control. The boy was strong sure, but even he can't control his power when he's angry. It is with that thought that I smiled a very disturbing smile. If he wants peace so badly I'll grant it to him, but if he get's angry then I will be able to reign supreme. I could imagine it now; the screaming newly made orphans as they watched their parents being ripped apart. The blood raining down upon streets and roads as I paved them with the blood of all that I deemed weak and pitiful. No creature could stand against me, I was the predator. And these Ponies were soon going to be my prey. Author's Note God it took me a long ass time to get this out. Anyway I am alive, though I will not be able to keep a steady update on the stories I have. I just found the time to do this one and took the chance. 400 words less then what I said, but still a shit load at the moment. Anyway, enjoy! Leave a like and comment and be sure to favorite!
