Tomorrow May Never Come....
Tomorrow May Never Come......
What do I have to live for?
Nothing. That's what. Now that she's gone, what am I suppose to do? Grieve for the rest of my life? Move on and get over it? I don't know. I just miss her.
She was wonderful. Great. She was super sarcastic, but I loved that about her.She was much younger than me, but age is just a number, right? Love is love.
We first met when I went down to Manehatten to get back in the music business. Little did I know I would find true love.
I had been sitting outside in one of their fancy shmancy cafes there. I was eating a daisy sandwich when I heard a heavily accented voice say, "Join the Manehatten Cutie Mark Crusaders!"
I turned my head to see a freckled filly, with straight dark red hair. She yelled that phrase again, but nopony stopped. She sighed. I felt bad for her, so approached her.
"You ok, young filly?"
Her green eyes stared up at me, and smiled.
"Wanna help out the Cutie Mark Crusaders? Like, you know, donations?" She pointed with her hoof at my saddlebags, which I had left at my seat. I chuckled.
"Fine." I returned to where I was sitting at, and pulled out my bits bag.
"How many bits do you-" When I turned around, the young filly was being harrassed.
"Oh, look, it's the blank flank!" The other filly said, having a smug smile on her face. The filly growled, but shrugged it off.
"15 would be nice,"
"What do think you're trying to get your cutie mark in, begging for bits?"
No reply.
"Or, is the little filly selling her body.
No reply.
"Something,you little prick!"
"Don't call her that!" I suddenly yelled at the bully. She suddenly seemed frightened and ran off.
"You ok?" I asked the blank flank.
"Fine." She said, taking the bits from me. "I'm Babs Seed. Your name?"
"Noteworthy."
And that's how it all began.
After that, everything was great. We did a lot together, and had a great time. Until that unfateful night.....
I had been working on a new song when I heard a gunshot. I stepped outside to see Babs Seed, lying on her side, not breathing. I saw a stallion, one with a crazed look in his eyes, ran off, leaving the gun behind.
"Babs? Babs, can you hear me?" I said, going down to her level.
No reply. No breath.
"Babs, please!"
No reply. No breath.
"Babs......"
No reply. No breath.
Tears began to run down my face. Why? Why would someone does this?
At her buriel, I wasn't allowed in. Only friends and family. I wasn't neither. I had forgotten realtionship was secret to everypony.
And now I sit here, telling you the sad tale of Babs Seed. And why in Celestia's name would somepony do this?
I don't know.
