Ed was walking through the white abyss again as he dreamed on. He looked around for the dark blue Alicorn but saw her no where in sight as he kept on passing his memory bubbles containing glimpses of his past. He usually kept the bad ones pitch black so he could tell good from bad. So far the Princess was no where in sight which put him at ease.

"Looking for someone?" A mysterious voice said as Ed turned around to the source.

He saw that Luna was smiling and waving at him from afar. Ed began to approach her but instantly stopped and took a defensive stance as he sensed something was wrong. Luna seeing this smiled at him before lifting up her right arm and snapping her fingers. She was gone in a puff of smoke and replaced by the man with special eyes. Ed saw the he had a smirk on his face and was bringing his hands up to clap to him.

"Well done Edward I thought you might not have noticed" He said as he gave a few short claps before snapping and receiving his cane.

Ed became more relaxed knowing it was the weird man and put his hands behind his head. "Now you can appear in my dreams, what's next?" Ed said as he let out a small sigh.

"Dreamy Dramy stop being such a baby" The man said as he twirled his cane and smiled.

"Besides it's not everyday you train a new skill" The man said as he stopped twirling his cane and let it disappear from his hand in a puff of smoke.

"What do you mean?" Ed asked as he tilted his head and looked at the man confused.

The man smirked as he snapped his fingers.

All of a sudden the memory bubbles disappeared around Ed and he saw the white abyss he once walked through suddenly change in front of him as walls started forming around him. The walls were concrete and so was the floor as it sprang up below him catching him by surprise as he stumbled off his feet and fell backwards landing on his butt. He watched as the room finally stopped moving and became still as Ed got back up to his feet. He looked around and saw that he was in a full concrete room lit by some unknown light source. He looked back to where the man was standing and saw he was gone now and was no where to be seen as Ed looked around the large room.

"Shall we begin?" Ed suddenly heard echo within the room.

Ed just sighed before cracking his neck and spreading his feet apart to get ready for whatever was to come.

"Better here than out there I suppose"

Reality

Ed awoke many hours later from his dream and saw the wooden roof of the tree house as he opened his eyes while laying on his back The bed felt a little flat as he sat up but soon found that he was actually on the floor next to the bed. He slowly got up from sitting and scanned the bed seeing Applejack, Rarity , and Trixie laying in his bed. Though Trixie was taking up most of the bed which was probably how he fell off as he saw her pushing both the farmer and the diva almost off the sides of the bed. He smiled as he turned to the other bed across the room and saw that it was empty to his surprise. Ed wondered where Twilight was at and then looked to the window to see that it was no longer raining and almost morning as the sky had a orange color to it. The sun would be rising from what Ed could tell and yawned.

"I wonder were Twilight is?" He said to himself as he stretched his back. Shortly after stretching he began walking downstairs while reaching up to his ponytail taking off the rubber band holding his hair to let it all out. He ran a hand through his hair once making sure that it was straight with no tangles. Reaching the bottom of the stairs Ed looked around the library to see if the Unicorn was still up and quickly spotted her sitting at a table to the side of the room with books and scrolls laid on the ground around her. Ed slowly approached her and spoke.

"Isn't it a little late to be up read-?" Ed stopped talking as he noticed the mares head laying face first on the table. Upon closer inspection he found that she was passed out on the table with a book for a pillow. Ed just smiled as he lifted her head back so that he could pick her up. Before he lifted her something caught his eye from the book she was reading. It was about dragons.

Ed lifted her up and carried her like a princess as he turned around and looked at the books and scrolls on the floor. They all had something to do with dragons. Ed looked at the mare in his arms and thought to himself.

"What are you up to Twilight?"

Morning

Twilight stirred in her sleep as her nose smelt the aroma of food and awoke. She pushed herself up with one hand and slowly rubbed one of her eyes to make the blur in them go away. She still smelt the aroma of food and suddenly heard a growl come from her stomach. Embarrassed of the noise she quickly looked around to see if anyone was near and found no one.

"Food's ready Twilight!" A voice she identified as Ed called out drawing her attention. She slowly got up as she stretched her back moving off the bed. Feet on the ground she yawned making her way down to the main room where her kitchen was. She sniffed the air getting a better whiff of the food and recognized the smell immediately.

"Pancakes?" Twilight said as she walked toward the kitchen eyeing Ed at the stove with a pan in his hand and her new friend Trixie sitting at the kitchen table. She took a seat by Trixie saying "Good Morning" as she did.

"Good morning to you as well Twilight Sparkle" Trixie said as she nodded to her and turned back to Ed. "So are you going to tell Trixie how you learned to be so acrobatic?"

Ed grinned as he was half turned still cooking what looked like the last of the pancakes and spoke. "Don't you ponies have a saying, a good magician never reveals his secrets?" Ed asked as he looked Trixie in the eye.

The show mare just harrumphed as she turned away pouting. "I guess Trixie does have a few secrets of her own that she wouldn't want to reveal"

Twilight just blinked. "What are you two talking about?"

Trixie turned to Twilight and spoke. "Do you remember Trixie's performance with Edward a few days ago?"

Twilight just shook her head before Ed spoke up. "I don't think she was there, where you Twilight?" Ed asked as Twilight again shook her head.

"Well..." Ed began.

Moments Later

"Bou ded- bleh, all that!?" Twilight said as she swallowed her food and stared at Ed with awe.

"Yep" Ed said as he took another bite of his pancake finishing off his plate.

"Of course he did!" Trixie spouted feeling proud of her and the humans performance that one day.

"Wow... I didn't know you were so acrobatic... or the fact that you could cook too?" Twilight said as she looked at Ed, wondering what else the human could do.

"Well their are a lot of things you don't know about me Twilight" Ed said as he picked up his plate and walked over to the sink to wash it off.

Twilight just sat there letting the words process through her mind before it clicked. She really didn't know anything about him. He's only been her for at least a week and he's already the biggest mystery she's ever seen. He saved three fillies from a burning building, harvested a whole months worth of apples in a day, and somehow talked to dragon right before taking on its fire breath head on and surviving it with no burn marks to be seen. And she had no idea what he's age was. Well she knew how tall he was just by looking at him but it dawned on her that she had no knowledge of him or his kind at all what so ever. That was going to change.

She was about to speak but was interrupted as she heard her phone ringing from her desk. She stood up and made her way over there. As she reached her desk she saw that it was her mentor Princess Celestia and quickly picked up.

"Yes Princess!?" Twilight said as she came to attention standing straight as if the Princess was right in front of her.

"[At ease my student, I wish to see speak to you in private concerning Luna's new living conditions]" Twilight heard from the other end as she nodded.

"Yes of course" Twilight said as she readied a scroll and quill ready to write down anything important.

"[It seems that she has moved in a bit earlier then expected]"

Twilight blinked before shaking her head. "Wait wasn't the plan for her to move in a week later after we show her where's she's staying?"

"[That was the plan hehe... ]" The Princess said as she chuckled on the other side of the chat.

"Well where did she sleep last night, we didn't move her stuff in yet?" Twilight asked as she pondered the question to herself.

"[That's the thing...]"

Author's Note

So I'm going to re-read all my chapter to make sure I'm not missing anything, and while I'm at it I'm going to re-read my scripts and notes to make sure I have everything planned for the next book and such. But yeah summer... whoo...

If anything steam sale just started so I'll be more distracted then ever.
