How the Crystal Heart came to be.
Chapter 1 - The Beginning.
The story behind Crystal Heart;
Have you ever wondered how the Crystal Heart came to be?
When she was just a little filly, she lived with her mother, Diamond Heart. She lived with her daughter, Crystal Heart. Her mother was shunned in Mainhatten where they lived, They all hated Diamond Heart with a passion and they teased her since she was at school. She grew up with a family where there was no such thing as happiness. She worked as a child. She didn't get much sleep. She was very depressed. But there was one thing that made her happy, And that was that Crystal Heart believed in her. They grew up together without a father as the father abandoned his foul at birth, Crystal heart always thought that it was her fault, Her mother was not happy, She wouldn't play games with Crystal Heart, She wouldn't let her do anything. Crystal heart started going to school when she was 6, She made 2 friends, Chrysalis and Dr. Whooves. She adored her 2 friends, Treated them like gods, Loved and cared for them, Stood up for them. They were the best of friends throught the first few years of school.
Crystal Heart was bullied at her school for being different, She didn't like what everypony else liked, She was a unique girl. Nobody understood her very well and she didn't seem to get along with anypony other than her 2 friends. She was picked on because of how she looked, Her eyes, Her nose and her horn. Her Unihorn was damaged at birth and was incapable to perform any magic. She was a very quiet pony, She talked to nopony, Nobody talked to her, But when people did talk to her, They were bullying her, She tried different schools and still found that she was being bullied, She had to put up with this because her mother was too sick to keep changing locations like that until the last location she moved into was the early settlement of Crystal town. It was a simple town, Not too big and not to small, A decent amount of ponies and a beautiful tower, She loved the tower, Every day after school she would spend hours watching the tower slowly grow in a small amount, Thats all she would do, Is sit and watch as the tower grew, The tower only grew a very short amount, But she still watched it, She found an interest in this, People respected that until one day after school.
When Crystal heart started settling down in her new environment and started talking to other fowls, She met 2 ponies. Phoenix Soul and Alter Mind. they were shy of Crystal Heart because they saw beauty within her, They thought that she was perfect, Popular, Unique, Amazing! All of these things that those 2 ponies though, The talked about her for weeks! Crystal Heart was there idol. They looked up to her, But they were too afraid to talk to her until people started to notice something, Something was different about Crystal Town.
You see, Crystal Heart had an idol herself that she looks up to, And her idol visits her every night, Her name was Luna. Princess Luna, Luna was her protector, Her guardian. Luna always visited Crystal Heart in her dreams, They would talk, Discuss issues, Luna would make Crystal Heart feel wanted. After a year, Diamond Heart Passed away because of her sickness. Crystal Heart woke up one morning to realize that her mother has not awoken from her night. Crystal Didn't know what to do, She cried. All day she laid with her mother, Crying, Holding her close. repeating "I love you"
to Diamonds lifeless body. Crystal fell asleep crying, All her tears stayed within her eyes, She did not shed a single tear. They were all in her eye, Until her eyelids closed over, And she fell asleep. She did not dream a dream, It was white. Nothing. Not a sound, She wondered where Luna was. She cried in her dreams that she was not there for her, She was begging in her dreams to see her. Then the dream went black. Black, But not a black you would normally see, Stars, There were stars but one star in particular that interested her, It shone brighter than any star she has ever seen in her life. She tried reaching for it, Crying still. Until she realized she wasn't in a dream. She was awake, She said "How is this possible!"
she looked up to see 2 familiar eyes, Teal and blue. She said upset, "Who... Who are you..."
Suddenly, The mysterious pony took a step back and revealed herself to Crystal Heart, What she needed, What she wanted at that time. Standing right before her eyes, Smiling with a reassuring smile that only Crystal Heart could experience. It was Princess Luna herself.
Before Crystal could even speak a single word. Luna said in a calm voice, "Come with me my little pony."
Crystal looked over not to see her mother. She was gone, Crystal was about to ask where she had went when Luna said
"All will be explained in the next hour. Trust me."
Luna and Crystal walked through Crystal Town, Until they made a stop at the Crystal Tower. They stood there. Crystal was in shock. Everypony was there. Lined up. Making a direct path to the entrance of the castle, Crystal said "Wha... What is this?"
Luna replied, "This is your destiny."
hey walked up to the castle door and luna opened it for her. Before Crystals eyes, Princess Celestia was standing a few hooves away. Luna told Crystal to follow Celestia. They walked up to the top of the castle and looked over the balcony. They could see the whole of Crystal Town from that height. There was everypony standing in front of them at the bottom of the tower, While Crystal was looking over the balcony, She noticed something, The tower was growing, Faster than she had ever seen, It was skyrocketing, More crystals bursted out from the ground and surrounded the tower, Crystal said in shock "What's going on!"
"This castle has a great connection towards you, The tower only grew when you sat near it all those years, You didn't get any closer to the tower, You kept your distance, And thats why the tower grew slowly, You see Crystal, This tower is your heart. It grows and it doesn't stop growing until your heart stops beating. You are the creator of this castle, And you didn't even know it. This is where you belong my little pony, this is your home."
Crystal confused said, "I... I don't understand"
As Luna stood next to her saying, "Soon you will"
Crystal was smiling, She was happy. Luna looked at Celestia and said to Crystal. "This is your time."
She was happy. A single happy tear dropped from her eyes unto the base of the tower. A large bang hit the ground and a heart at the base of the tower was formed. The Crystal Heart. It stood there, Spinning. Luna walked Crystal back down to the base of the tower, While the whole of equestria was there watching her, In silence. Luna and Celestia stopped walking, Opened their wings and proclaimed Crystal heart, The princess of the Crystal empire. The new princess walked to the heart and raised her hoof. She looked into the heart and saw Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, and Loyalty. She touched the stone, her skin turned into the most beautiful of skin, Her hooves turned into the hooves of a great stallion. Her horn turned into the most powerful magic in all of equestria, Her eyes filled the night sky with brightness. Then the stone stopped turning and she saw her reflection, "I thought I just changed!"
"You did change. You realized that you are who you are, You are the most beautiful pony alive. There is nothing wrong with you, You're perfect the way you are and nopony can change that! You have overcome yourself, You know who you are and you're proud of yourself."
She smiled into the stone. The stone saw that. It expanded greatly, The whole of Equestria could see its beauty, It was so bright that it lighted up the Everfree forest, It was so powerful that even the most angriest of ponies were happy. It turned the old and bitter into strong and young. The ground shook, The crystal empire rose out of the ground, It wasn't just a few houses anymore, It was huge, Further than the eye could see, Surrounded by a barrier of harmony. Anypony that entered would make their skin crystalised. She closed her eyes. She slept in peace. She could finally rest. She is. Crystal Heart.
