Moving On

Spike carefully dusted the selves on the library. With Twilight being away on Royal buisness, it gave him time to tidy up the place, a task he'd been given long ago. Holding up the book, "Legends of Equestria" he blew off the thick layer of dust that coated the ruby red novel, only to drop it when he heard a knock at the door.

Spike opened the door a crack to see Ditzy Doo, or as most know her, Derpy. Opening the door to the library more he greeted the cross eyed pegasus with a wave. Ditzy smiled back and got an envelope for him out of her bag.

Letting out a sigh, he handed the letter back to Derpy.

"Wrong adress, again," he muttered as she took the envelope in her mouth. After rummaging through her bag once more she brought out a purple envelope, decorated in pink lace. It read:

To my dear friends, Twilight Sparkle, and Spike, From Rarity

Quicker than a Pinkie Pie that drank ten gallons of coffee, he snatched the letter up, and went inside.

Careful not to rip the lovely envelope, he opened the letter and brought out a white and gold card. He read it closely taking in the first few words:

You are invited to the Wedding of:

Rarity and Thunderlane

Not bothering to read the rest her crumpled the card up and threw it to the nearest shelf, causing a few books to fall.

"Just great," he growled as he went to pick up the fallen books.
