the new guys

"You guys ready?" I held the crowbar in my hand tightly the light from the sun gleamed off the iron tool and i looked up at my brother clutched the machete handle tightly than gave a slight nod I looked at my best friend billy he was in the 'batter up' stance he nodded

"alright lets do this". I jammed the crowbar inbetween the door and pushed subsequently I fell flat on my face when the wooden shed door flung open earning a couple laughs from the guys .

"Oh screw you guys"  when I got up we inspected the shed there wasn't anything in it but rusted old tools. I could still hear this pulsating sound coming from the shed.

"Screw it I'm digging up the floor boards." I jammed the crowbar into one of the boards and broke it off I did this five more time and in the middle of the broken floor a book was there. It had an all black cover no name and a symbol on the front I thought I recognized it but I couldn't place my finger on it though. I brought the book inside our house

"So what do you guys think it is?" My friend billy asked

"Gee I don't know a book" my brother Tyler said sarcastically

"No i mean like what it does I mean a normal book wouldn't have a pulsating sound coming from it and someone or something wouldn't hide it under floor boards" billy replied

I opened up the book there was a loud flash and bang kind of like a flashbang just went off in our living room and we were out like a light.

I woke up a couple hours later I could tell because it was night. I was stiff as a board but I got up and stretched out the number one thing I noticed was that we were in the woods I woke up billy and Tyler noticed that our weapons were still with us I grabbed my crowbar

"Where the hell are we?"
