Scootaloo has always been on the weak side, physically. Her body wasn't made to be a flyer even though she was a pegasus. Despite this, she's obsessed with thoughts of flying, so much so that she latched onto Rainbow Dash as an idol, a pinnacle of speed and versatility. However, after Scootaloo loses her idol, her world begins to shatter under her hooves leaving only her wings to hold her steady.
