The Darkness Rising...

During these times many great unicorns used their magic predict future events in hope to avoid the coming of the Darkness…" Twilight read to herself quickly summarizing her last note.

"HELP ME TWILIGHT!" yelled spike.

"Spike how many times do I have to tell you not to take more than 4 books with you on the ladder at a time?" questioned twilight as she slowly lowers him down along with the fifth-teen books he was carrying.

"Well it would be a lot easier if you stop getting more books out every minute so I don't have to put them back all the time" spike answered.

"Spike I have to study about these ancient traditions and history for my report on ancient pony empires and civilizations" twilight said seriously.

"Twilight you have to take a break soon or later you going to go crazy if you keep working on that report" said Spike as he started putting the books back in place.

"Well now I have stopped reading I do feel hungry, how about we go see Applejack?" Twilight said noticing her stomach growling.

"Fine but only if we can drop by and get some gems afterwards because I'm starting to get tired of hay and oats." spike said.

"Okay spike we'll go get some gems after but then I really do have to get back to work on the report." twilight replied looking back at the pile of books and scrolls.

As they walked towards Sweet Apple Acres twilight started to feel a tingle in her horn "Hmm that's strange…"

"What is it?" Spike asked looking at twilight noticing something is wrong.

"It's okay it was just a tingle don't worry about it" she said slightly doubting herself.

"Hey Twilight!" Rainbow Dash Called out flying straight pass them both knocking spike from twilight's back and landing just inches away "oops sorry spike" Rainbow Dash said slowly looking over at Twilight "Are you okay Twilight you look like you're the one that fell"

"Oh its nothing" she said quickly changing subject "Are you going to sweet apple acres too?"

"Yeah Applejack is going help me with my new trick" Rainbow Dash said quickly jumping back in the air "so why aren't you flying there?" she asked.

"I just thought that a walk might be a bit more relaxing" Twilight responds looking back at her wings "hang on Spike" she said just before leaping into the sky alongside rainbow.
