A chance happening gets Rainbow Dash into the Equestrian Games but will it be what she hopes it will be. Not only that she gets to hang with her idols the Wonderbolts. But, things are not as they seem. The Fillydelphia Amateur Flight Team has many talent ponies but one in particular has it out for Dash.

No pony would doubt that RD is awesome but when the Wonderbolts Captain strings her along just to get a chance at Sonic Rainboom things get out of hand. AJ finds a kindred spirit in the sky loving Pegasus Soarin but will this last, or will things fall apart. And does Scootaloo have a part to play.
