Terror in Ponyville

The Package

Twilight began her day normally, she ordered Spike to cook breakfast. Twilight was sitting eating her piece of toast, when then the doorbell rang. Spike stood up and screamed “I’ll get it!” Spike cheerfully got up and walked to the door. As he opened it, he found a package in front of the door. It was about the size of his bed. Spike looked at it and noticed, it said “To Twilight Sparkles. From the Watcher.”

Spike carried the package to Twilight, who was training with her wings. Spike then said “Hey Twi, I got a package. It says its from the Watcher.” Twilight stopped training and stared at Spike and said “Ok. Who is the Watcher?” Spike analyzed the package, and said “It doesn’t say.” Twilight stared and said “Thats weird, may I have the package?” Spike nodded and said “Sure thing Twilight.”

Twilight opened the Package, she found a note that read “Hello Twilight Sparkles. I would like to congratulate you on your crowning. But this package contains a Star Swirl The Bearded book.” Twilight opened the book, instead the book exploded. The explosion emerged Spike screamed as the fire engulfed him, he turned to ashes as he was killed. Twilight screamed in horror as the explosion engulfed her, along with the explosion the sound of bones snapping filled the air, Twilight screeched as the explosion settled and she fell.

Celestia paced back and forth, no terrorist organizations took responsibility for the attack. Twilight was in the hospital in critical condition. Spike was dead, and they were waiting for Twilight to wake up from the coma, and tell them what to do with Spike’s body. Celestia then noticed Shining Armor who was sitting at Twilight’s side. Twilight’s fur was scorched, her ribs were broken, her wings were broken. She had splinters ranging from the size of a gnat, to the size of a small stick. On the occasion Twilight would shift her head, she was also on life support. Shining Armor shook Twilight and said “Come on Twilight. Wake up tell me something.” Twilight didn't respond, her head just tilted. Then Twilight’s parents arrived.

Shining Armor greeted his parents. The Father said “Please, did they tell you she will live?” Shining Armor said “We don’t know, Twilight's near death she could die any moment now.” The Mother grabbed her husband and gasped “Death?” Shining Armor nodded and said “The explosion, shook her in the head.” Celestia then said “I’m so sorry.” The parents cried, in horror as Twilight’s head shifted again, several medical ponies then looked sadly at the parents and said “We don’t think she will make it.” The parents collapsed crying, Twilight’s breaths through the breathing machine were labored. Shining Armor ran to his parents side.

Then a royal guard entered the room, Celestia said “Yes?” The guard bowed and said “Your Majesty, the explosives were home made. We can’t track the pony down. But we did find graffiti that had the words ‘The Empire of Day and Night must end’ we don’t know what it means.” Celestia then nodded and said “Keep up the search.”

A hooded pony sat down at a table, several other hooded ponies were sitting there too. Then one said “Watcher, did the bomb go off?” Then a hooded pony said “Yes it did, it didn't kill Twilight Sparkles, but it wounded her pretty bad.” The head hooded pony nodded and said “Good work.”
