Twilight's Special Gift
What was a beautiful day in Ponyville turned into a gusty storm at night, organised by the Ponyville Weather team. Rain lashed the windows of the Ponyville library and wind blew against the gnarled tree that hosted the humble library. Inside was Twilight Sparkle and her assistant Spike; the purple unicorn was working away at her tomes as her assistant scoured the top most shelves looking for a book on properties of dark magic.
“Where’s that book Spike? I need it for my report,” Twilight said impatiently as she snapped the monstrous book in front of her shut in aggravation.
“I’m trying,” Spike said as he moved along the top shelf on the mobile ladder. “I just can’t find…” Spike paused and pulled an enormous book out from the shelf. The weight unsteadied the baby dragon and he fell from the ladder where he hit the floor with a loud smack. The book was still clutched in his right claw.
Twilight glanced up and saw the book titled, ‘Tome of the Properties of Dark Magic.’ Twilight grinned and took the book from Spike before he could move. “Thank you Spike,” Twilight said before dropping the book on the table and flipping it open.
“Ergh,” Spike muttered clutching his head. “You’re welcome.”
Twilight immediately stuck her muzzle into the book of the dark arts, intent on learning anything that the book had to offer.
Dark Magic, being a Fel-Based (Demonic) form of magic is a corrupting force of energy that may be wielded by powerful unicorns and other magical practicing beings. The corrupting nature of such magic can be the undoing of many who practice this unstable form of magic, the reasoning behind this is largely unexplored, however it is suggested that Dark Magic corrupts the soul of wielder resulting in those uncoordinated and reckless in the art to be twisted both physically and mentally into what resembles a demonic entity with little to no self-control in regards to handling powerful magic.
Twilight jotted down notes, thinking of King Sombra as she did so. She herself had used this form of magic but only very briefly. Agreeing that it was indeed powerful magic from her own coordinated use she continued to read.
Dark Magic when cast is black/purple in appearance and in the case of summoning is known to have a red hue. Unicorn ponies who attempt dark magic will notice that the “Shroud” will not be of their usual colour but will assume the black/purple as mentioned above. One notable unicorn that was corrupted by such magic was the once mighty King Sombra, noted for his reckless use of dark magic. It twisted him into a dark, evil, almost demonic pony. King Sombra was the first being to summon various demons directly from the realm of Tartarus.
Twilight jotted more notes down, understanding now why Princess Celestia had granted her this task.
“Umm… Twilight?” Spike said. Twilight jumped, sapping her quill in surprise.
“Spike,” Twilight snapped. “I-“
“Are you going to open that?” Spike asked cautiously, “I’m sure Rarity didn’t give it to you to ignore.”
Twilight glanced at the purple wrapped package on the table nearby, an envelope positioned on top. “Not yet Spike,” Twilight said sparing the book a glance while attempting to keep calm. “Where’s my other quill?” Twilight burst, jumping to her hooves. “I need this done.”
“It’s due in two weeks…” Spike sighed.
“What if it takes me that long Spike,” Twilight said quickly starting to get worked up. “This report is really important, if I don’t complete it… I might.” Twilight blinked unable to finish. “No, I will.”
“Twilight take a break,” Spike said as Twilight started to rip drawers open trying to find a spare quill. “You finished your report on magical trinkets today and that’s due in over a week.”
“Take a break?” Twilight snapped glaring at her number one assistance. “Not when there is study to be done, I specifically need this report partially completed tonight. What if the princess gives me another report due in a week? What then? Then I’ll be behind and I don’t like being behind.” Twilight breathed heavily out from her nose. “Where are my quills?”
Spike sighed and produced a quill for Twilight. Twilight wrapped in magic and pulled but Spike didn’t release it. “Spike!”
Spike gave a little cough and said. “You can only take it if you promise me that you will take a break in an hour.”
Twilight glared at him, then glanced up at the clock reading ten to ten. “Fine,” Twilight said relaxing a little and Spike released the quill. “Thank You,” Twilight said before briskly going back to her study.

Twilight finally finished the introduction to of “Corruption and Addition from the Influence of Dark Magic,” before placing her quill down. Twilight looked up at the clock and it was almost eleven thirty. Twilight was surprised Spike hadn’t come down to tell her off for not taking a break sooner, but her assistant was nowhere to be seen.
Twilight levitated the book from Rarity and placed it down in front of herself. “Open this when you are alone darling, you don’t want Spike to see this one,” Rarity had told her. She also remembered her adding. “This tome will take the weight off your shoulders. Do tell me about it tomorrow.” Twilight had promised Rarity that she would read it before bed.
Twilight sighed and closed the gigantic book on dark magic and opened Rarity’s package. Inside was a note along with a book. Twilight opened the note.
“- Twilight
Do take this book into a room by yourself and ensure you are alone. Turn to page 77 and cast the spell. Do tell me about it tomorrow over a strong cup of coffee.

Twilight glanced over the leather tome and embossed in golden letters was the title. “Tome of Pleasure.”
Twilight blushed and immediately regretted promising to tell Rarity “All about it,” or for that matter reading it. Twilight opened the book expecting to see pornographic images inside but was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually a spell book for various forms of enticing pleasure.

Twilight placed the tome on the table and opened the book to page 77 as requested by Rarity. Twilight read the title of the spell, “Your Secret Desire.” Twilight blinked. What was Rarity doing? Why does she want to know this? The purple unicorn thought .Twilight facehoofed but a promise was a promise. Anyway, she thought. She had been so stressed and worked up lately she hasn’t had any time for herself. Tonight was that night. Twilight read what the spell did, wanting to know before casting it.
“Your Secret Desire,” is exactly what the title of this spell means. Cast the following spell and be entranced by that special mare or stallion. It doesn’t matter if you like being whipped, like whipping or enjoy being throttled by a giant tentacle monster. This spell will ensure you have the highest pleasure possible no matter what the cost.
Twilight looked at the spell, written in runes. The spell was basic to cast for such a complicated result. Twilight cast the spell, her horn illuminated in purple light. Finally a beam of magic shot from her horn and hit the book. She blasted it off the table and it landed on the floor where the book sat glowing slightly. Nothing else happened. Twilight took a step closer to the book, unsure how she could have failed such a basic spell when suddenly white light burst from within. Twilight shielded her eyes with a hoof as the light blinded her, the pages rustled as if in strong wind. Finally there was a series of hoof steps and the light faded.
Twilight stuttered as she made out the pony in front of her. “R-Rarity…” Twilight said bemused. “Is this some kind of joke?”
Rarity flicked her mane and looked at directly at Twilight through heavily lidded eyes. Twilight blushed but shook her head.
“Darling,” Rarity purred strutting over to her. “Whatever do you mean?”
Rarity strutted to Twilight, her hips moving side to side in an exaggerated manner and came to a stop mere inches from her face. “Rarity, what’s got into you?”
“You,” she whispered before kissing Twilight tenderly on the lips. Twilight twitched and almost pulled away but her subconscious stopped her at the last second. Twilight kissed Rarity back and closed her eyes, still confused. What was going on? Why was she kissing a mare? Why was she enjoying it? Did she have a crush on Rarity and didn’t even know? What’s love anyway? Twilight’s train of thought was broken when a thick something wrapped around her hind hoof causing her to open her eyes. Twilight yelped as she was pulled into the air by the thing around her leg. Blood rushing to her head, she saw that Rarity had grown a double pair of white tentacles as thick as rope just behind her shoulder joints. One of which was wrapped around her right hindleg. “Rarity put me down!” Twilight demanded loudly as she struggled against the single tentacle thing around her leg.
“I don’t think so,” Rarity said seductively. “I like seeing you in… vulnerable positions.”
Twilight blushed again but she shook her head. “Put me down,” Twilight demanded again. The second tentacle whipped back and Twilight flinched as it shot at her before wrapping around her foreleg.
“No I will not put you down,” Rarity said flicking her wondrous mane and battering her eyelashes. “You will refer to me as Miss Rarity, or Mistress… If you don’t then you’ll be punished.” Rarity wore a heavy grin that suited her pretty face.
Twilight gaped. Is this real? Is this some sort of crazy dream she was having? “What are you going to do with me?” Twilight asked a hint of fear on her voice.
Rarity narrowed her eyes. A third tendril shot from her back, a much smaller one.

Twilight yelped, a sting of pain on her cheek. “S-sorry Miss… Mistress,” she gasped.”
“Again and you will be,” Rarity said dangerously. “Now I’ll ask you a question Twilight.”
Twilight blinked, her brain whirring, she was good at answering questions. Twilight gave a brief upside down nod.
“Do you love me?” Rarity asked, her face softening.
Twilight, despite her head filled with blood thanks to gravity felt it drain from her head. “I- I,” Twilight was not expecting a question such as this to be thrown at her. Twilight chose her words carefully. “I can’t say I’ve given any thought in finding a partner,” Twilight said.
“Don’t lie,” Rarity said her voice cracking. “I see the way you look at me. I see the way you see me.” The thin tendril that had smacked her across the face flicked her nose lightly before teasing its way under Twilight’s chin. “You see Twilight. I know you have feelings for me, I know you love me and I will prove it.” Rarity seized Twilight’s other two hooves in another set of fine silvery tendrils and pulled her up the right way. Still in the air she pulled Twilight’s legs apart.
“What’re you doing” Twilight asked, her voice shaking as she struggled the bonds.
“Mistress…” Rarity growled, her eyes flashing.

“She was a unicorn,” Twilight replied. “A unicorn I know. She did things to me that I could never forget.” Twilight sighed and looked at her friend in the face. “Thank you Rarity,” Twilight said. “Your gift was amazing.”
“Oh I’m glad you liked it Twilight, I’m always happy to help a friend.” Rarity said reaching a hoof to touch Twilight’s. Twilight felt her heart swell slightly. “Just let me know if you need anything else?”
She nodded, happy to be with her friend Rarity; but altogether she always had the book to go back to if she needed a good time. Twilight did not have it in her to tell her who the pony was. But until such a time came, she had the book. The Tome of Pleasure.
