It had been a couple of hours since Princess Luna had caught Fluttershy crying and began trying to find a way to help. But Twilight was next to find her that night, by accident, on her way home from a evening out with her new boyfriend. She had spied Fluttershy crying in the woods just like Luna had done, except instead of leaving her be she had approached the crying form. “Fluttershy?” Twilight asked slowly approaching her friend but her words must have been misheard or something for Fluttershy instantly put her hands in front of her face in a protective pose and began apologizing as if she were some kind of trance, not realizing it was one of her friends, not a stranger that had happened upon her. “Fluttershy it's Twilight” she pleaded, as she rested her hand on her frightened friend's shoulder hoping those words would snap her friend out of it.

Fluttershy lowered her hands, tears still rolling down her face. As she saw her friend, she looked away.“Sorry Twilight...I thought you were someone else,” she spoke softly, like she normally did, trying to make things more normal than what they were.
Twilight looked worried slightly as she sat on her knees next to her. “Its alright, what happened though?” she asked.
Fluttershy shook her head she was not ready to talk about it yet.
Fluttershy looked at her friend from behind her hair and realized she was not exactly happy with that response. Twilight's voice cut through the silence once more “Do you need help getting home?” she asked. Fluttershy shook her head once more and began to stand up and walk home, she paused a moment and took in the sights. The night was a peaceful bliss compared to the long nights she spent curled up in a ball crying herself to sleep, she wondered if there was a person out there for her, looking at the night like this and thinking "Wow, it's beautiful." She sighed and began to head home, wiping the tears away so she didn't look like she was crying. On her walk her mind drifted to the memories of her ex. Steam Gear was supposed to be a gentleman or at least that's how he acted in public eye well perhaps in the beginning he was. He made sure she didn't have to worry about anything, he would fix things, and bring her food in the mornings, sometimes he even took care of feeding some of the critters so she could rest in bed some more. But after awhile he began to change or well started showing his true intentions. He started to abuse her emotionally breaking down her will so that she would not resist his desires, he started with small threats and insults leading up to physical abuse always things that could be hidden after all he didn't want her ruining his reputation in town. She mentally started crying again she kept her emotions in check as she opened her door and slowly and quietly went to her room to crash before waking up in the morning. Sad thing is Twilight knew she had been crying “Oh i hope she doesn't make a fuss tomorrow” Fluttershy thought before closing her eyes.
