Pretty odd

What concerned you the most of this new town was how many ponies were so out going and carefree well almost care free as some had jobs to do. In canterlot most ponies wouldn't even look at you let alone talk to you. If you were important then you'd be popular.

You weren't always the one to be in the spotlight as you hated having attention drawing too much attention could have consequences.

You continued your walk with spike and look all around town. From the looks of this it was a pretty rural area nothing to big nor small just right by your book. A pink blur then tackled you to the ground there you see the hyperactive pink mare from before.

"Hiya new guy I need your help!" She said excitedly

"Uh Pinkie can you get off me and please talk a bit slower." You asked

"Oh sure anyway I wanted to plan your party buuut I wanted to try out a new candy recipe I've been working on can you help please?" She asked using the cutest smile

"Uh can you handle the walk towards the library on your Spike?" You asked

"Uh sure don't worry about it." He said as he grabbed the items from your back.

You stood right back up and walked alongside Pinkie. She seemed to have an unlimited amount of energy on that body of hers. You then started to have a few lewd thoughts about the mare you just met you shook those thoughts away as that wasn't a great first impression.

You thought back to her problem a candy recipe what could that candy recipe be. Where exactly did she work anyway. Was she a baker,a candy maker. She could have three jobs and you wouldn't even notice that she was tired.

"We're here!" She announced that took you out of your thought process making you look at a gingerbread house it was unique to say the very least.

Both you and Pinkie entered to see a ton of patrons waiting for their sweets. Pinkie led you towards the back of the bakery and into an area where they'd make candy all kinds. They had lollipops,pop rocks,jaw breakers,and many more.

"Okay my idea is to have a candy that stretchy and chewy like a bubble gum. But you aren't able to blow a bubble with." She said going through different ingredients.

"So like a taffy. Something that's chewy and stretchy but can't blow a bubble with and you could add all kinds of favors to it." You said looking at a banana

"Yuppers exactly oh and I want to have a punny joke in every candy. Get it punny." She started to laugh and snorted a little.

'Okay that was pretty cute.' You said to yourself

"Why don't you start on the taffy and I'll start on the punny jokes." You said with a smile again she started to laugh uncontrollably. You chuckled at your lame attempt at comedy but hey it's better then nothing.

Pinkie started with the flavoring chopping up stawberries and boiling them which you thought was kinda weird until you saw that the strawberries juices started seep out into a juice like substance.

You started to think of stupid but funny puns that you could include with the candy. The more you thought about the more it made you groan as you kinda hated them.

It took you a good amount of time for Pinkie to make the taffy. You passed her the list of puns she started to read every one of them some she laughed at some she well threw away. You weren't the best at comedy but you try.

"Oh I got it maybe I can give you a nickname because calling you new guy is boring!"

"How about you call me taffy."

"Hmmm yes yes yes yes that's your new name taffy I like that mostly because I made these candies for you! I mean because you made the candies." She said with an awkward smile

"Uh sure why not anyway I guess I'll see ya later."

"Bye taffy."

"Bye pinks."

Pinkie...

"He called me pinks oh my gosh." Pinkie said excitedly

"Pinkie calm down its only a name." Pinkie looked into a mirror to see herself with long bleak mane in the mirror.

"I know but he's cute and he called me pinks Pinkemena." She said happily

"Pinkie pinkie. When will you learn that all stallions are scum come now we have much to plan for the stallion." Pinkemena said with disgust.

"Okie dokie lokie." She then bounced towards her closet which she stored her party cannon and party supplies.
