[Chapter 1: The end of the beginning.]

Pandaria, the land of wonders and ancient ruins that spread across the lands. But deep within shelters a dark and powerful secret. Hidden for millennia. But until strangers came to our lands the dark energy started to expend and grow until it started to corrupt the lands itself and all the beings on it. But there is a select group of heroes from an ancient prophecy would calm the very lands and destroy the energy. Yet things aren’t going as they hoped. The heroes died, one by one till there was only one left that stood strong against the mighty Sha of Anger. She was afraid, wounded and without hope. But she still stood her ground against the Sha.

She wanted revenge for the lives that the Sha destroyed. For the lands that were scarred by its evil and for her own family, who were consumed by the Sha of doubt. They doubted their own daughter, thinking she could not succeed in freeing the very land they were standing on. She watched as the Sha consumed their will and body in mere seconds. With tears in her eyes she watched as her entire village was wiped from the map. Only for her to escape.

T he battle was fierce as the 10 heroes were fighting the Sha of anger. Minions spawned all around them as the heroes started to drop one by one grasping for air until they draw their last breath. She was a shaman so she stood at the very border casting lighting and creating earthquakes putting all her energy into her attacks forming, lava from the very air around her and even summoning her very elemental totems to aid her in battle.

The battle raged on for hours. She was getting tired and she knew it. Her allies laying on the ground unmoving. She was the last one that stood in the Sha’s way to destroy the world.

“Look at that. Only a mere shaman left for me to crush.” Said the Sha with its booming voice.

“I-I might be the *Gasp* last one standing...” she said as she fell on her knees in exaction ‘I am out of energy, I can’t keep this up. But when I fall... the world is doomed.’ She thought.

“I am growing tired of you mortal. Any last words before I crush you on the very land you tried to protect?”

“Actually I do.” She said as she centred all her energy to her paw. “Ancient titans of earth, fire, wind and water.” She said as she started to glow a hew of brown, red, blue and white. “I speak to thee to grand me the power to overcome this evil so that I can purge this land from everything that could bring harm to the living things.”

To the Sha started to back away and was shielding its face from the blinding light that was coming from the only pandaren alive in front of him.

“This can’t be possible! Where does all that power come from!” it roared as he tried to attach her in vain. The pandaren rose from her kneeling position as a circle of swirling light started to consume the land around them.

“You shall pay for the crimes you have committed against this land. For the many people you have slain and for the very hearts you have broken, by taking their family or loved once. YOU SHALL PAY WITH YOUR LIFE!!” she shouted as she opened her eyes only to see two brightly glowing orbs as the circle started to expand over the entire Kun-Lai Summit only to be healed from the Sha’s corruption. After the light was disappeared the Sha was gone and so was the young pandaren shaman. All the heroes that were slain in the battle were revived and healed from all their wounds. They wanted to thank the shaman who cased all this only to find a black spot and one large flower in the middle. She was gone.

[5 months later]

On the place where the Sha was defeated, stood a statue made out of jade. And on the statue was the saviour of Pandaria, the young female shaman who gave her life to save the very world from disaster. She was holding a pose of peace and harmony while holding her staff in her left paw and a orb of fire in her other. Next to her were the totems she used during the battle, and finally behind her was the Sha of anger.

On the stone in front of the statue was a Poem written;

What is courage? What defines a courageous act? It is said that the brave and cowardly person are both fearful. However, it is the brave one who faces his or her fear and does what needs to be done. We will be faced with many things that scare us throughout our lives. How can we become the kind of people that face our fear and do it anyway? Pandaren growth takes place when we take small steps. Each time we face our fears we become more of the courageous person that we would like to be.

They never knew her name. But in the end, every year a large amount of people still would come to the Kun-Lai Summit and pray to the one shaman who saved them all.

[1 hour after the spell. PoV change to first person]

Everything was burning and all I could see was darkness. I has no feeling what so ever. Yet I felt some kind of presence inside my head or was it... I don’t know but I screamed for help. ‘I must wake up. I have to!’ I yelled inside my head as I tried to open my eyes with success. Only my body didn’t want to cooperate with my brain so I just dragged myself to the source of the voice.

I think I crawled for like 5 minutes but it felt like hours as I finally found the source of the voice. It was a small horse, or pony I am not sure but I haven’t seen it before in my life. It was purple or lavender. Her, by the sound of the voice what was even stranger, hair or mane, I don’t really know, was a dark blue with a pink and purple hot stripe. I saw it was being attacked that seems to be made out of wood. It looked much like a wolf I have seen on Azeroth.

Since it was made of wood it was pretty easy to know what kind of spell I could use. As I crapped myself together I cast with my last energy left a Lava burst spell that burned the wolf as my vision went blurry. I felt my side and face only to see my paw covered in blood and gore.

“This... isn’t... good...” I managed to get out before falling into unconsciousness.
