legend of the elements: archive one: the lab

it was a grey and cloudy day when I awoke that fateful day. I will never forget the moment that changed my life forever. It was Tuesday one of my days off (thank goodness) usually I could sleep though any kind of light that came anywhere near me. But today I could just tell I... sorry I guess I forgot to tell you what I looked like before those scientists changed me into a pony. I was about six foot three male had a medium build my hair was black. my eyes were a shade of dark green and I usually wore a tee-shirt and jeans. now back to my story I could tell today was going to be different then usual mostly due to my white lab dog. whom I love dearly decided to jump on my bed. which in turn launched me off to the left side of my bed. resounding in an ear shattering crash making me groan in both pain and irritation. I gave my dog a glare and slowly sat up. Yawning in the process of standing up I slowly walked to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I turned on the cold water to wake myself up faster. and washed myself thoroughly the chill of the water got me thinking of how I was going to pay for the debts I owed. at least I felt that way. a few months earlier I lost the only family I ever had my sister illana took to the stauncher disease that had been harming our town of deshiam new England for twelve years. the disease caused several bubbles to form on the skin and they would expand and grow until they couldn't anymore and would finally explode in a mess of puss and blood. my sister and I lost both parents to the disease. I took care of her for ten years until she fell victim to it as well. devastation hit me hard and as such I lost my job from being away for so long. my health had taken a hit as well I hadn't eaten for a while. But eventually I had looked towards a brighter future but not without building up debts from most of my friends paying my bills for a while I had asked what I could do to repay them but they said not to worry about it. What can I say I can't stand owing favors or have any form of debt. After those thoughts I shut off the water and put a towel around my waste. I walked out and grabbed a pair of jeans,underpants and a red  and white stripped tee-shirt. putting them on quickly I quickly walked out of my two story home and walked towards the new super market. I was going to try to get a job there my parents left behind a sizable inheritance to be sure but I couldn't live on that forever. I needed a job to build up money to secure a good budget for the rest of my days.

after a while of thinking I appeared in front of frencario ready for the interview. Now the man interviewing me was a bit nutty. meaning he felt suits or formal wear of any kind was too stuffy and strict. so over the phone he said to come in some casual wear. I walked in and told the man in the back of the store that I was here for the interview he told me to wait for ten minutes. then walked away. Soon enough another man came to me. "are you Vance?" he asked me "yes I am I'm here for that interview we talked about." I said "yes yes of course right this way"? the man then lead me to his office.

I walked out of the mans office devastated. this was the fifth job I had been rejected from. Had I known that someday I would be a weather pony for the future ponyville, I probably would have laughed at that. It was dark out by the time my interview was through. So all I could do was head home and browse the internet some more, and hope that I could become lucky again. just as I made it to my car however something solid hit me in the back of the head my world instantly became black.

meanwhile at a research facility outside on a mountaintop. A black S.U.V drove up to the gates. A guard  looked at the driver and said. halt what is your business here?" "tell the boss that we have the test subject."

said the driver. The driver shifted his eyes left to right and said "alright proceed." the S.U.V rolled up to the parking lot and unloaded a teenage boy from the trunk and carried him through the door. the hallways were long and dark and by the time the driver made it to the door he felt creeped out by how dark it was.He barely knocked on the door when he was suddenly yanked through. the drivers opinion on this man was that he was completely off his rocker. he had been performing strange and weird experiments on anything he could get his hands on. The last experiment was burned in the drivers mind forever and was thankful the dangerous beast was still contained. he had to get a bear cub from the forest and once delivered he saw the professor inject it with some sort of fluid. Instantly there was a reaction the bear had grown to at least ten times its size. Its teeth had grown more fierce and intimidating fangs, and its fur had turned a midnight blue and looked to have stars in it. the driver had barely gotten out of the room and around a corner when the bear had knocked the fifteen inch steel door, off its hinges and sent it thirty feet down the hallway. shuddering at those memories he gave the doctor the boy and took his pay turned around and left. "soon the true experiment will begin
