The issue with the winter season was how difficult it made it for you to wake up in the morning. Thus, you’re more likely to sleep in while hoping that the cold would go away. That, or you would wake up very unpleasantly and have to use all of your will-power to get up and use the bathroom. He frowned as he heard no response and looked around the room to see no pony. “Maybe she’s downstairs…” he decided, as he walked towards the doorway. Placing a claw on the knob, he twisted and pulled.

Spike tried to open the door, but it wouldn’t budge no matter how much he tried. Getting frustrated after a minute, he used both claws this time, but met with little success. Spike was far from impressed as he glared and started to use more force, considering that Rarity didn’t have a lock feature on the knob. Spike soon became very impatient as he released the knob and slowly walked away while rubbing his neck. He suddenly took a deep breath before turning around and rammed his foot into the doorway, effectively bringing it down.
“Buck your door!” Spike remarked with strong distaste as he walked over it. That alone was able to ease his mind as he took a step forward, causing an echoing sound that was music to his ears. Curious, the purple dragon walked a few more steps, wondering if his mind was playing tricks on him.
“Is this a dream…?” he wondered aloud. After ‘thinking’ about it, he came to that obvious realization. “Of course! Why else is nothing making sense…” he decided aloud, walking a little faster. Normally, he would fly, but he still needed to ‘wake’ his body up completely; his wings needed to get proper blood flowing after overusing them during the first week he got them. And speaking of a pond, Spike came to realize that it was clear and deep, arousing his curiosity even more as he finally took notice of the large waterfall that was across from the large tree. She smiled as she rested her cheek on a hand, while placing the other on her waist. The wind blew through her hair in the most elegant of ways, as the galaxy texture was mesmerizing.

“Mind telling me WHY I am ‘tied up’?” Spike asked, with a ‘smile’.
“You are not pleased to see me?”
Spike obviously didn’t need time to think about his response. “Given to how you influenced my dreams LAST TIME, yeah, I can actually say that I am NOT pleased to see you.” Spike confessed, as he then gave perhaps the most unpleasant expression he’s done in his life. Luna’s interference with his dreams beforehand, really made him lose favor for admiring the night goddess after losing fear for her when she was the infamous Nightmare Moon.
With that, Luna actually frowned with displeasure. “I wasn’t TRYING to-“
“I had to go to therapy Princess Luna, THERAPY. You have any idea how difficult it is to find a therapist for DRAGONS?” Spike continued to give his unpleasant expression to her.

Spike raised an eyebrow. “You’re not pleased with me…” Spike repeated.

Knowing that this was the closest thing he would get out of an apology- (given by her ego)-, Spike answered, “So given that you’re implying that you didn’t mean to give me nightmares on purpose, I suppose that I can forgive you…” Of course, Spike was lying out his tail hole, and Luna seemed to think so.

All that was in front of Spike was a deadly fog that prevented him from seeing anything beyond a foot in front of him.

And, connecting all the dots to what was going on with Princess Luna was not difficult. How can this be? Her evil persona ‘Nightmare Moon’- HOW? Spike wondered in his mind. From what his memories told him, this alter-ego of Princess Luna should have been ‘destroyed’ by Twilight and the others. Did he miss something?
“Scared and confused to why ‘I’ still exist?” said a commanding voice, which echoed throughout the cave. Spike nearly jumped- (as best he could in his current condition)-, as Luna’s Nightmare Moon’s voice aroused fear once more.

Even Spike was well-aware that she couldn’t be ‘actually’ harmed in dream mode. Thus, he wasn’t really ‘attacking’ one of royalty.
