Noble Justice sighed contentedly as he entered his home. Today had been a long day. Not only did he help arrest a group of drug dealers (Who called themselves The Planters) , he made a nice profit too. With all these extra bits I have, I could probably afford that swimming pool, he thought. The unicorn yawned, and started walking towards his bedroom. He stopped to glance at himself in the mirror.
His bright red mane was combed and gelled, his cream coat brushed to perfection. The tie he was wearing for court was now untied, hanging loosely from his neck. He posed for himself, admiring how he looked. He smirked, and relaxed. He loved the way he looked. Another yawn reminded him of his destination. He slowly walked off to bed, thinking of expensive toys and the day ahead.

Now that the hard part's out of the way, the fun can begin, Hired Hoof thought to herself. Sneaking into Justice's house wasn't hard at all, she just walked through the front door. Usually she had to wait until her target was asleep, and then infiltrate as slowly and quietly as she could. She dreaded the stealth part of her job, but the end result was always worth it.
The first thing she did, as always, was find a suitable place for her to "play". The living room had too many windows, the bathroom too small. The wine cellar, however, was perfect. Downstairs, no windows, and only one candle. She smiled to herself, already thinking about the task ahead.
She started down the stairs, however about halfway down she heard a loud crack. The step below her shattered, and she fell the rest of the way down.
"Hello?" She heard a stallion call, "Is someone there?"
Hired Hoof took a few deep breaths, trying not to panic. Panic lead to stupid decisions. Right now she needed to focus. Okay, so he knows I'm here. And he's heading right for me. I can still salvage this. Right now I need to knock him unconscious, but if he see's me he may shout. After a few moments, she had a plan. It wasn't fancy, but it would have to do.
She climbed on top of a cabinet in the room, knocking over many bottles in the process. She heard the same stallion call again, and she heard his footsteps coming down the stairs. She had just reached the top of the furniture while Justice entered the room.
"Hello?" He called for a third time. Hired saw him reach for the candle, and made her move. She leaped from the top of the cabinet, bringing an elbow down HARD on the stallions head.

Noble Justice awoke later with a major headache. He shook his head to try to clear it up, but it only made it hurt more. He tried to scratch his head with a hoof, only to find it was bound to the chair he was sitting on.
Realizing this, he looked up and around. It still looked like his wine cellar. However, he didn't recognize the mare facing away from him. She was messing with something, though he couldn't see what.
"Who- who are you?" He managed out, in between shakey breaths.
The dark blue mare turned around, a smile on her face and a knife in her magic. "Me? I'm just an artist. Some bad ponies are paying me for my work."
Justice looked at the knife, swallowed hard, and looked back at the mare. "What... what kind of artist?"
Hired Hoof started to hum, and ran a hoof down his face. "Some call me a sculptor, some a madmare. But the result is still the same."
She heated the knife on the lit candle in the corner of the room, humming all the while. Justice looked around frantically, trying to find a weapon, or a way out. Hired turned back to him soon after, and lifted the knife to his left ear. She licked her lips, and then sliced.

Hired was pretty sure Justice's screams woke his neighbors. I really want to have more fun with him, but what if people start checking on him? she thought while munching on the Stallions severed ear. She looked over her victim once more. His head was down, showing off the wound she had just inflicted. She could see tears streaming down his face.
"Oh, did the big stallion get a little boo-boo? Here, I can make the crying stop" she said in a mocking tone, while lifting his head to face her. She plunged the knife into his right eye and pulled, bringing out his eye and his screams of pain and mercy. She pulled the knife out of the eye and let go of his head. He vomited, and then began to cry and plead more.
This was Hired's favorite part of the job. The begging for mercy. She knew she wasn't going to stop, she was getting paid. But her victims? They always thought they could make a deal and spare themselves. It was cute, really.
"I have a message for you from the ponies that hired me. But just telling you would be boring."
She plunged the knife into his stomach, covering the instrument in blood. She wiped her hoof up the blade, and began writing on the wall. She smiled as she did so. She had so much power. She was writing the last thing this pony would ever see. The last thing he would ever feel. She controlled when his life ended. Hired would have loved to have more fun, but she could already hear the sirens. Guess he screams louder then I thought, she thought to herself. Must have woken up the neighbors, but she didn't expect the cops this early.
With one last swing of the knife, she slit his throat. She bathed in the spray of blood for a few seconds, enjoying the feeling of the warm liquid washing over her. She brought her hoof up to her face, and licked the blood remaining from her writing.
And then, with a flash of light, she was gone. On the wall across from Justice's Corpse was a simple message: "Buck You. -Planters"
