//-------------------------------------------------------// The End -by suijin228- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 The End Chapter 1 You've all heard the story. A human comes to Equestria, makes friends with the cast, sets up a nice life there, and lives happily ever after, right? Well I'm here to tell you that things don't always end there. Despite all these years, I still remember that day; the day SHE showed me her true colors and cast me out. Alone in the world, no friends to count on, and an infinite number of dangers at my back. Several times over the years I've found myself walking the razors edge between life and death, and only out of sheer willpower have I survived. I crossed treacherous mountain ranges, crossed over vast deserts, and traversed through the roughest of waters, just to survive in this confusing world. Yet no matter how far away I traveled, her image seemed to haunt me mercilessly. Along my travels, I found evidence of people similar to my own situation. Cast out into the world to wander until their death. The corpses of my fellow humans is chilling to say the least, especially in some of the conditions I found them in. Yet this only seemed to reaffirm what I was had intentionally thought all those years ago when I first met yet. She saw us as pawns- no! less than pawns- just pieces with no purpose and only there for her own amusement. With every body I found, I could feel the hatred boiling up inside myself, even as my own body aged throughout the years I wandered. The bodies I found though showed me that they had suffered far worse than I had, but each one I did find had a story to tell with what I found on their remains. Some had royal guard armor on when I'd found them, indicating their place in canterlot. Some had elaborate clothing, showing their connection to rarity. And on a few, I found lockets, said individuals with a loving look in their eye as they gazed into the eyes of their favorite pony. Granted many years ago when I'd first seen a locket, I was in shock. The first I found depicted an average human male with twilight at the gala, a shock because I myself had been the one escorting Twilight to the gala that evening, as friends though; although in the first locket I found, it seemed that they were a lot closer than that. As the years went on, I found more and more pictures showing ponies with humans. The humans in the pictures always seemed so close to the ponies they were with. Each human had love in their eyes and just by looking at the equine they were with I could tell they felt the same way. But it would seem that they had been forced apart by the same equine I'd been cast out by! Journals along the way helped piece together the events quite easily, every single person I found with evidence to the past showed the exact same thing happening over and over again. Slowly the pieces fell into place and they painted the picture of a mad woman, or mare in this world. These 'random occurrences' such as discord, the wedding, and even the return of the crystal empire, were all set up. Each time these 'random events' showed up, she'd call the nearest human, get him or her involved, and then see how they did. And each time she had her fill of amusement, she'd just reset the world, using some kind of mass hypnosis spell on the masses to keep them ignorant. It would appear however that the spell didn't work on humans though. This idea was only reaffirmed when I looked up into the sky one night only to see the mare on the moon once more in place with nopony questioning how or why this was there. Now when I finally learned just what was going on, I did my best to try to change things. I tried to get close to the next human to come, I tried to pass messages, and even launch an assault against her when she was at her weakest. But in the end she stopped me every time, seeing my continued existence as a small side project to her fun. But after so many times, I just gave up and tried to leave my life behind me. I did my best to ignore the events happening, to try and just live out my life as a hermit somewhere in this world and let the mad chess master do her thing. But then came Susie. A little girl, god dammit, A LITTLE GIRL! I could tell her corpse was fresh when I'd stumbled upon it. Judging by the body warmth, the death had occurred only a few hours before I'd discovered it. At the time I'd been exploring the frozen wasteland to see if the Crystal Kingdom was back, but my expedition stopped when I found her. She looked like she'd been mauled by a bear of some sort, her body was hardly recognizable but she'd kept a small backpack on her which held a few important things. A journal where she wrote about her adventures with her new best friends, a teddy bear made by rarity, and a picture frame with her beside the mane 6. This little girl had no idea just what she'd stumbled into, believing that it was a dream come true only for it to turn into a nightmare when she'd been cast out and mauled. She'd only been six. That was the last straw for me, on that day I swore vengeance, I swore that if it was the last thing I did, I would end these games. Celestia. Would. Pay. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 The End Chapter 2 I felt it only fair that I use her own plan against her. With every cycle she helped bring about, she would always hang back and watch as her latest human did his best to come out on top. Knowing exactly what they would face, she never once checked in on Discord or any of the other 'villains'. This always left me with small windows of opportunity to work with. It took 10 meetings with Nightmare Moon to gain her help. 15 with Chrysalis. And 30 with Discord before I was able to prove my story. Sombra was oddly enough the easiest to recruit, only taking 3 meetings before he agreed. Each time they were freed to play their part, I'd have a chat with them. Of course I'd have to prove my story, which could usually be done by using my knowledge I'd gained by my past meetings to show them the truth. Each of their reactions varied, but in the end they agreed to help, out of selfishness or pity it didn't matter. From Nightmare Moon I received armor of the blackest sort. She assured me that it was strong enough to withstand Celestia's full wrath. It had originally been designed for ponies to wear, but after a few quick spells, I looked like the black knight of legend. From Crysilisis I received a powerful healant in the form of Celestia's blood. Since it came from an Alicorn, it held powerful healing properties which would come in handy against my fight with Celestia herself. Sombra, due to his shadow body gave me what he could, but it was more than enough in my opinion. A Shield. Now a physical one, but a magical one. Surrounding my armor now was an aura of what looked like black smoke, shielding my from not only celestia's mental attacks, but her weaker magical ones. I was assured that it would protect me from her levetation spell; a blessing since I'd worried over just how to overcome that spell. Lastly came Discord. With the elder chaotic gods playful nature and inability to focus for projects for long was a bit of an issue at the beginning, after so many meetings with the being, I had begun to look up to him The old chaotic god had became like a father figgure to me after the many meetings we'd had together. We were as close as father and son back in my own world. Even now whenever I try to imagine my fathers face, I see Discords. While that had initially alarmed me at first, I'd since begun to accept it and even embrace it. Since he had freedom far longer than the others, he was able to teach me more in terms of spell use. Due to my mundane nature, I would always be at a disadvantage to Celestia in all fields. As an Alicorn she held the strength of an Earth Pony. The speed and agility of a Pegasus. And the magical potential of a Unicorn. My shield would wane if I could not break away from her spells; My armor would break if I could not match her in strength up close; And if I could not improve my speed, any physical advantage I might gain would be pointless as she'd run circles around me. With all that addressed; Discord, even with all his powers, couldn't make me magical, but he could do the next best thing in his opinion. Runes. With every meeting we shared, he'd take his time to carve a rune into my skin. filling it with his own chaotic magic, the perfect counter to Celestia. While I could never really use spells like a regular unicorn, I could now at least stand a chance at beating her. Ever meeting with Discord always began with a rune being carved somewhere on my skin. After all these years, only my face remains uncarved, as Discord went to great lengths to ensure that I would match up to the Princess of the Sun. Where at one point I struggled to life a hundred pounds, I could life ten times that. Where Once I could only fifteen miles an hour, I could probably be mistaken for the flash if I ever returned to earth. And where once I could never hope to compete with Celestia magically, I could at least blast back anything she sent my way. The only thing missing was to send my message to her and prepare for the plan Discord and myself had created over the years. It had taken everything I had; my body, my health, and even my youth. This wasn't about getting back to my old life anymore, it was now about vengeance and making sure nothing like this ever happened again. At age 65, I was finally going to put my childhood to rest...
