A Night at Las Pegasus

“Aw, yeah! Hey Twi, ready to get your party on?” Exclaimed rainbow dash

Twilight glared at Rainbow angrily.

"Rainbow, I already told you Princess Celest-"

"Yeah, yeah your girlfriend is sending us on an 'important mission' to Las Pegasus to see how the ponies act differently from over there to here in Ponyville and we have to stay in a hotel for two days. We know."

Twilight's face reddened, for she didn't like when ponies spoke about her and the princess like that.

Angrily she shot back, "How dare you call Prin-"

She shut up when she felt Apple Jack's hoof on her chest.

Applejack had a look of disapproval.

A high pitched voiced chimed in behind them saying, "Awkward..."

As a perfectly timed excuse, Twilight turned around and smiled.

"Hey, Pinkie, are you all packed?"

"Sure thing i got my saddlebag full of Bits, clothes, a scarf, a hat, sunbluck, a water filter, my party cannon..."

Twilight closed her eyes and took a deep breath as Pinkie Pie continued the list.

"... a carton of milk, and... " she looked around suspiciously, "... my special party starters."

She held up a bottle of white pills.

The other ponies looked at her horrified.

"What?"  she said acting confused.

Just as twilight was about to question Pinkie, Rarity and Fluttershy walked in. Fluttershy's cheeks were red and Rarity was fixing her mane.

Rarity was whispering something to Fluttershy but stopped as she saw all eyes on them. Awkwardly, she put her saddle bag down and sat on one of twilight's chairs. They were all ready. Spike entered the library and told the ponies that their taxi was here. As soon as the seven were squeezed inside the car, they flew off. It usually took two hours to get from Ponyville to Las Pegasus by road, so they decided to pay more and fly over there. Once they were halfway there, Twilight decided to write a letter to the princess...

"Dear Princess Celestia,

     My friends and I are currently on our way to Las Pegasus like you instructed. I have to admit, it will be a fun experience for us all. I promise not to get distracted. i will complete my task at hand. and who knows? I might learn a thing or two about friendship. Im trying to figure out how to learn about the ponies here. i was thinking a poll, but that will take to long...  i'll think of something...

Just then the taxi came to a stop and the ponies looked out in amazement. It was even more beautiful than The Crystal Empire.

The brightest lights illuminated the dark desert sky. Loud electronic music emitted from the city.

This was sure to be the best night ever!
