Due to Twilight's failure to understand the importance of friendship, Nightmare Moons attack was successful. Now alone in a world of shadow, Twilight's only hope of restoring light back to Equestria is to find the five missing mares and befriend them. Only it may prove to be more difficult then expected, as not everypony believes in second chances.
