"A pegasus? HA! That's mythology, little girl! And OH, were you a purple pegasus? Is that why your skin is purple?"

"Whatever! Who cares about YOUR opinion?" I cried at the mean humans, who were making fun of me for saying I didn't come from where ever this place was.  'America' I recalled Bubble Gum, my BFF, telling me.

I could hear them teasing me as I headed towards my locker, but I tuned them out. "0-3-22," I muttered to myself. As I reach for my math book, I saw the little slide-phone. Looking both ways, I grabbed it and typed a message to    BubbsGum as my contacts listed.

Thumbs R soooo weird!

the text read. Smiling, I pressed send. In seconds the reply came:

i no, right!?!

come over later, i have an idea of how to get back to Equestria.

LATER...

"Bubbs!"

  "Purbs!"

"You know I HATE that nickname, Bubble Gum." I said, hugging her.

"Fine. Um... Purst? No. Rusty? Purble? P-Rust? Purp-Rust? PURP-RUST! That's it. Purp-Rust!" she exclaimed, Bouncing up and down, causing her hair to fly around in pinkish-orange wisps like cotton candy. Her pale orange skin showed attempts at tanning. I hadn't even looked in a mirror since I got here, Mainly because I liked it here.

One week ago, during a overnighter with Bubble Gum, we woke up at about two in the morning to loud crashing noises. We looked in the mirror, and were pulled inside it. I haven't trusted any mirrors sense.

A few minutes later, we were sitting on the bathroom floor. "Listen carefully, and do exactly what I tell you," Bubble Gum said with a worrying amount of urgency in her voice. Glup "I want you to see yourself before we go back. stand up."

I did as I was told. I looked into the mirror, and the girls staring back at me were beautiful. Bubble Gum's shoulder-length hair was eight even stips of alternating orange and pink, one section of each in front of her shoulders. Her neon orange eyes sparkled. Her plain white T-shirt and faded blue jeans made her seem more simple. I noticed a deep blue hair band on her head. Turning slightly to look at myself, I gasped. I was really cute. Two-toned purple hair fell in a messy waterfall to my bottom. My skin was slightly tinted purple, and my eyes; I couldn't even describe how my eyes looked. I looked at my side, only seeing my pink T-shirt and skirt.

"We lost our wings." I said.

Laughing we sat down.

"This is goodbye, for now at least. You can go back to Equestria by waking up. You're dreaming, Purple Rust." Gasping, I looked down. I was starting to fade.

"What about you? Aren't you coming?" I choked out, as I faded to wisps. The last thing I remember hearing was

"I'm not going. I'm not dreaming. You are, Princess Purple Rust."
