Chapters It was a good day in Ponyville everypony was doing what they do every day. Twilight was getting ready for a picnic with her friends. She was ready to go and was waiting for Spike. “Spike come on we will be late”! Spike was walking down the steps with one of his fav books.
“Yeah I’m ready to go” Spike said with a smile on his face. This is one of the few times Spike had went on a picnic with his friends most of the time they are on adventures.
“So I see your bringing a book to read I never thought you were a reading type”. Twilight was happy that Spike picked up reading.
“Yeah this book is called A Far Away Place it is about a brave adventurer that goes to save his kingdom from the forces of evil just like you”.
“Aww thank you Spike any way let’s get going”. Twilight and Spike walk out of the library and started on their way to the picnic. When they got there they greeted their friends. “Hi girls so how has everypony been” Twilight said with a smile.
“Well me Big Mac and I cleared the apple trees so really the only thing we have to do is take care of the trees”.
“ I just got done with making a new dress and one of the major dress sellers is going to come by later on in the week” Rarity said looking as happy as ever.
“I preformed and perfected a new trick and I plan on showing the Wonderbolts when I get the chance” Rainbow Dash said hoping that she will get the chance to soon.
“Well.. I helped a timber cub that I found on the side of the path”
“I was planning on helping anyone who needs it” Pinkie said while bouncing around. As the girls where eating and talking Spike was reading his book. Spike was done with his book fast and looked up into the sky. Out of the corner of his eye he saw something. As he started at it he noticed that it was getting closer.
“Uhh Girls what is that” Spike said pointing to that incoming object. The girls looked at it and had puzzled looks on their faces.
“Is that a… meteor” said Applejack squinting at it.
“Yeah I think it is and it is headed straight for the everfree” Twilight said.
“Well I guess it couldn’t hurt” said a weary Twilight.
The Mane Six and Spike started on their way into the everfree to find the meteor.
Pov Switch
As I woke up I saw that I was in a forest. I didn’t remember falling asleep in a forest. As I got up I look around to see my surroundings. There were lots and lots of trees around. I saw that I must of fell here because I saw one of my infection meteors.
Going to a nearby creak I look at myself. I still saw a zombie looking back at me. I shaped shifted into what I looked like before all… this zombification. Now I looked like my old self. I was an African American, around 5,9, and I was 29 years old.
I decided to look around some more. I put a sent marker on the meteor so I could find my way back. I took a running leap and started to jump branch to branch. As I went on I saw smoke. Wanting to know what it was I headed towards it .
When I got there I saw a few Jumble Jets. Trying to think back I remembered that there was a fleet of these things and I took one down. Then I saw a bright flash and the next thing I know the jets where falling. That’s when I formed the meteor. When I walked up to one I saw the door was jammed shut.
I then ripped the door off. Inside I saw that everyone was dead. Taking the time I wrapped them up into pods so they wouldn’t rot. I did the same with the other jets. As I left the last one I saw something that blew my mind.
I saw flipping ponies. I thought that they were just a myth. They started to get closer and closer. Then out of the blue I heard one of them speak. It said “ Hmm I wonder what these things are. Upon observing them there were six of them.
Soon they where about 20 feet away. I started to leave and then to my dismay I stepped on a twig. They all looked straight at me I. Not knowing what they will do I tried to leave when I was lifted off of the ground. I tried to move but found myself unable to.
Not wanting to fight I simply said “ Let me go”. This got semi shocked faces from them.
Then a blue pony with a rainbow mane flew up to me. I was surprised that it had wings. “Well I’m not buying it what if you’re here to take over Equestria”. She had a look of hatred on her face.
“Really what would I have to gain from doing that and I didn’t even plan on coming here”. I met her type before the arrogant. They made me sick. She was still staring at me.
“ So what are you doing here and what are you”. The purple one seemed like she wanted to learn. Knowing that they may not like what I tell them I took a chance.
“Well promises me that you won’t flip out and try to kill me”. That all had confused faces.
“Uhh what do you mean kill you” said a wary Applejack.
“Well I’m kind of a ….zombie”. They all were shocked I mean who wouldn’t. Then the blue one flew back up to me and said.
“You made a big mistake coming here”. I then knew a fight was going to break out.
Author's Note
This is my 2nd story and I hope you guys and gals enjoy
I fell back down to the ground and got ready for that blue pony. She came in fast and it was hard keeping her in sight but being a zombie I had excellent smelling. I switched to hunter vision and saw that she had a rainbow sent trail. Locating where she will be next I picked up a rock and threw it at her. It hit dead on and she fell to the ground but quickly recovered.
She came towards me and punched me in the stomach. Even though I’m a zombie that kind of hurt. When she saw that I was unaffected she tried to punch me in the face. I blocked every hit and dished out some of my own. She tried to retreat but I grabbed her by the leg and started spinning around.
I then sent her flying into a tree. She tried to get up but seem like she was puckered out. I turned towards the other ponies that where huddled in a group. I tried to talk to them by saying “Now can we talk about this like…” I didn’t even finish what I had to say. The purple one shot out a beam and it hit me dead in the chest.
I felt my disguise melting off of me and some of my skin. I looked down and saw a pool of melted flesh. I fell to the ground holding my chest in pain. I saw that they had shocked faces. I heard one of them say “Twilight what did you do”. I looked around and saw that the blue pony recovered and walk right up to me.
She then started to kick me harder every time. She then was levitated away from me. I heard her say “Twilight what are you doing that thing is evil”. Then one of the ponies the yellow one walks up to my side. When she talked she had a soothing voice.
She said “Ohh you poor thing”. I guess she was the nicest of the group. She also seemed like a doctor because she said “Applejack can you help me roll him over so I can look at his wounds”. Then an orange pony that looks like she was a southern farmer walked up to me and started to roll me over. When they saw the damage they were shocked.
I heard the yellow one say “Uhh Twilight you.. may want to look at this”. The purple one walked over with the blue one in toe. She also had a shocked face. When I looked at the wound I could understand why they were shocked that beam bore a hole in my chest and you could even see my heart.
Then Twilight which I think is her real name asked “ How are you even alive”?
I chuckled at that and I said “I already told you I’m a zombie”. I then entered a heal sleep. The last thing I felt was being lifted off of the ground.
5 minutes later
When I woke up I looked at my chest and it was fixed and with a look around I saw that I was in a basement. I got up and looked around and saw some types of machinery. I found the stairs and started to walk up them. I heard muffled voices and thought that must be those ponies I meet. When I got to the door I looked through the key hole and saw them there talking to each other.
I quietly opened the door and snuck up behind the couch. I stood up and said “ Now what are we all talking about”. That made everyone jump. They all looked at me and all I could do was snicker.
The blue one said “Why did you do that”. She looked like she wanted to fight again.
“Well if you must know that was pay back and I could only do this because I didn’t want to start another fight. Even though she made me sick I didn’t want to start a fight with a new species.
Twilight I’m not sure if that’s her name said “Well sorry about Rainbow she can get.. a little judgmental”.
“It's ok just make sure it doesn’t happen again”. I was ready to forgive and forget.
“Now that the past is out of the way can I ask you some questions” said Twilight with a quill and paper.
“I don’t mind” as I took a seat “So shoot”.
“Well firstly what is your name”
“My name is Racj”. I was proud of my name even though it does sound a little weird.
“Ok next is this how you normally look because when we brought you hear I sensed a disguise on you”.
“Well… fine this is not how I normally look like this but my true form is a little disturbing”.
“It's ok just don’t roar or anything”.
“Well… ok”. I stood up and started to rip out of the disguise. My skin started to rot, and tear open, and my teeth started to sharpen. Small tentacles started to grow out of my back. I started to grow claws.
My eyes started to glow red. As the transformation was complete they all had a look of fear. “Hey don’t look at me like that you said you wanted to see”. Well at lest they didn’t run away like most people.
“Well…ok now on with the questions”.
10minutes later
“Well Twi I’m headed home I..I hope you have enough notes” said the orange pony who I now know is Applejack. As she left Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie also left. The last one to leave was that arrogant Rainbow Dash. I heard her insist that she stay here and keep an eye on me. Twilight told her just to go home because if she tries to keep and eye on me we might start fighting.
Then Rainbow left but not before glaring at me. “Well Twilight I’m going to hit the hay”. I was tired from all the questions.
“Well I do have a guest bed you can use”.
“No thank you I mostly like to sleep hanging upside down”.
“Uhh may I ask why”. She had a confused face.
“Well when I sleep upsides down I feel like I’m flowing down a river and it is very relaxing”. Also it makes it hard to see me.
“Well…. Ok I will see you in the morning”. She started to walk to her room. I climbed her wall and hung myself from my feet to the roof. As I dosed of the events of the day settled in my mind. For some reason I felt eyes watching me.

A Blood Bath and Your Fate
When I woke up it was early morning. I cut myself from the line and stretched. Hearing and feeling my bones crack felt good. I reformed my disguise so that I won’t weird anyone out. I read a book to pass the time.
It was called The Royal Sisters. I was half way done with it when a purple and green lizard walked down the steps. When he turned and looked at me he screamed. Not wanting to wake anyone up I rushed him and put a firm hand over his mouth. He was trying to pull my hand away put I was stronger than him.
As he started to get tired I said “Now I’m going to let go and when I do don’t scream you understand”. He nodded and I let him go.
“So you’re the guest Twilight said we were having” he said still with a hint of fear in his voice.
“Yep she was nice enough to let me stay here”.
“So do you want breakfast”?
“Well no because …. I only eat meat and raw meat at that”. When I said that his eyes went wide. Before he could scream again there was a knock at the door. Then Twilight walked down the stairs and went to go open it. When she did I saw her friends I met yesterday and a brown pony.
The brown one said “Twilight we are ready for your friend”.
“Ready… ready for what” I said. I didn’t know what Twilight had gotten me into.
“Well I wanted the town to get to know you so you don’t have to sneak around in the future”. She had a small smile.
“Ok I hope this goes well”. We all started to head out and I saw a stage and a large crowd. We got to the stage by the alley ways. As we stepped on the stage the crowd all stared at me. Then they all started asking questions.
They all sounded like a grown man with meatloaf in his mouth. Knowing this would get us no where I yelled “Everybody shut up”. This got everyone’s attention. “Now you’re all going to ask me a question one at a time ok”. They all nodded and I picked a pony that looked like he was painted on.
“My question is do you hurt anypony”.
“Well I only hurt people if they deserve it and I also do it to protect those who can’t fend for themselves in the Apocalypse”. I pointed to another pony that had their hoof up.
“What is the apocalypse”?
“Well back on earth a mad doctor found a strain of Zomfies. He wanted to make a weapon to threaten the world. He unleashed it one countless cities hundreds dead”. Everyone had tears in their eyes.
“I was a part of a project to find a cure. One day the cure we were working on got mixed with the virus. It became gases and I was in a testing chamber. I was infected and died a painful death. When they came in there they found me infected and talking”.
“They then tried to use me but I fought back and managed to escape. That is all I really want to revel”. It was silent and no one said a thing. The silence was broken when we all heard screams coming from the forest. Then a lone pony came running from the forest.
As she got closer I could see she had cuts and bruises her wings where twisted out of their sockets. I hoped off the stage and ran towards her and caught her before she fell. “What happen to you”? She was in rough condition.
“D….diamond dogs attacked me and my friends they…they killed them but I managed to escape”. That was all she could say before she pasted out.
“Someone get her to the hospital”. A few ponies walked up and carried her to the nearby hospital. Then a group of what I think are diamond dogs walked out of the forest. There was about 35 of them coming in fast. I sent a mental signal to the zombies on the jets to hurry up and get here.
As they got closer I walked to them. Most of the ponies protested and the few who didn’t oppose it said be careful. The alpha of them also walked up. He was the first to say anything.
“Who are you”? He was a little taller than me and was a grayish color.
“Someone you don’t want to anger” I said with a growl.
“You think you are stronger than us”.
“Think? I know I am”. My zombies started to appear on the roofs. Then I saw an arrow fly in the air. When I looked to see where it was I went wide eyed. Then it hit Fluttershy dead in the side.
She went down and blood started to pump out of the wound. Knowing what I must do I asked a simple question. “Hey Twilight do you think you can clean up some blood”. I quickly transformed and brought out my wrist bone blade and twisted and sliced. The alpha held his neck and blood started to flow.
As he fell to his knees his head fell off and his neck became a fountain of blood. This was a signal to my zombies to start the attack. They lunged on the diamond dogs and started to rip them apart. You could hear bones snap and munching on meat. Arms and heads where all around and organs where everywhere.
A few of the dogs tried to escape but where hunted by my zombies. When the battles was done with the streets where covered in blood and littered with half eaten bodies. Some of the dogs were still alive and where in pain. In the sky I saw a flying carriage coming down.
When it touched down I saw two Alicorns step out. I thought they must be the royal sisters. Also a small group of guards also came out. They started to surround me and point there spears at me. The Alicorns took a look around and saw pools of blood and body parts.
They also saw my zombies cleaning up the mess. They were lapping up blood and eating organs. They look back at me and the white one said “So you’re the one who did this”. She had a look of anger on her face.
“Yeah so”. This got her even angerer. She looked like she could explode.
“So you killed diamond dogs for no res…”. That is where I had to stop her.
“Do you honestly think I would do this unprovoked. They attacked group of ponies and only one made it out alive. When they got here they shot Fluttershy with an arrow. I protected them and you show up and threaten me and just because I spilled blood doesn’t make me a bad person”. She then gave the order to arrest me.
Then Twilight yelled at the Alicorn “Celestia what are you doing”. She rushed off the stage and up to Celestia. “What are you doing”.
“This thing has murdered and insulted me he must pay for his crimes”. She was dead set on sending me away.
“Princess he saved us from those diamond dogs and even though it was uncalled for he had to kill them or they would be back”. She was pledging with her to let him go and not kill him.
“It is will not be my decision to have him put to death Twilight he can be a threat to all of the races and he will be brought to Canterlot to be judged by them. You and the Mane Six will have to come to”. Know we were going to move I looked at Fluttershy and saw the arrow had been removed and she was up and walking. The Mane Six piled in to the carriage and I clamped onto the top. They thought I would fall off.
I told them I was ok so we started on our way to Canterlot. I then sent a mental note for a group of hunters to follow and attack if things go south. With that done I took a long nap.

Trial and Declaration of War
I woke up and saw we were going to land. When the carriage touched down I cut myself from the bindings and hoped off. When I saw the castle it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. Also that it was on the side of a hill. The door swung open and Celestia, the Mane Six, and what I heard is Luna which is Celestia’s younger sister.
I had my disguise on and I made sure to put it on before they got to Pineville so they don’t know what I look like out of this disguise. When we got to the door the guards opened it and we went on. Let me just say that castle had a lot of twists and turns. Luna saw my broadness and tried to break the ice.
“So how did you turn into a…..zombie”. I knew she was trying to be nice unlike her sister.
“Well when I was back on earth I was helping in finding a cure for the virus. One day the virus got mixed with an Alpha of the cure and started to become a gas. I was in a nearby testing room and the gas came in by the vent and mutated me.”
“Do you have any family”? At this I was silent. I wanted to shed a tear but zombies can’t cry so I just said
“I..I rather not talk about it”. She knew what I was talking about and everything and things went silent. We then got to a set of large golden and the guards opened them. In the throne room I saw lots of different creatures. There where Griffins, Zebras, Minators, and a few small Dragons.
As soon as we entered everyone looked at us. Celestia and Luna walked over to their thrones. The Mane Six walked to the center of the room and I walked to a wall labeled Defendant wall. Not wanting to be humiliated I summoned some what I call Zomglop and formed myself a throne. This got a look of anger from Celestia, a look of laughter from Luna, and mixed looks from the leaders.
There was a silence when Celestia said “Now that everypony is hear we will now start the trial of that thing”
“HEY I have a name you now and it’s Racj”. If this keeps going on we were going to have a problem.
“Ok now first what are you”. I knew she didn’t fully understand what a zombie is.
“I am a zombie and if you had zombies here you should know that I am undead”.
Then the griffin leader spoke up and said “what is your diet”.
“Well this will freak out some of you but I eat meat and raw meat at that”. If you had a scale of freaking out this room was off the scale. Celestia ordered her guards and they busted into the room. The leader of the group said “My name is Shining Armor and you are under arrest. As the guards go closer I jumped and landed on one of their backs.
The guards where trying to recover from seeing me react so fast so I leg sweeped one of them and gave him a punch to the head knocking him out. I picked up the next guard and punched him 5 time and gave him a swift knee to the gut. Another guard tried to punch me but I grabed his arm and spun him around and threw him. He hit the wall next the Celestia’s throne. When I looked at the other guard he simple culled up into a ball.
Then Shining Armor stabbed me from bhind and when I looked down I saw my heart on the end of the blade. When I turned around everyone was shocked. I pulled the blade out from my back and poped my heart back into place. I then picked Shining Armor up and threw him into the foot of Celestia’s throne. I looked at Celestia with a unaproveing face.
“Things were going so well then you had to attack me”. I started to walk up to her and she was charging up her horn. “Well I am done with you”. As I turned around and started to reach the door I felt a hot burning pain on the right side of my head. I fell to the ground in pain as my hunters broke through the windows.
I felt them pulling my bodies and I signaled them to stop for a second. “Well… I h..hope your happy. If I don’t die you will pay”. I was dragged out the window before passing out.
Pov Swithch
The whole throne room was in shock the leaders, Luna, and the Mane Six could not belive what Celestia had done. She had orderd him to be arrested and she blew half of his face off. “Celestia what have you done”. Twilight was appaled at what her mentor had done. She did’t know what to say she had attacked him just because he was a meat eater.
She really didn’t have a problem with griffins eating meat but why did she have a problem with him. She then heard Twilight say some thing that made her heart drop “I am going after him”.
“No Twilight you can’t he is evil”. Rainbow all ways hated him being here and now has a good way of getting rid of him.
“I’m going to have to agree with Rainbow”. Twilight couldn’t belive what Rainbow Dash and Applejack where saying.
“I am also going to have to agree with them it is not that he is evil it’s just he eats meat”.
“Rainbow you hung out with Gilda and she also ate meat but you where fine with it how come you hate him because of that”. Twilight was angre at her friend for turning on him.
“Well me, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie are going to find him”. She turned around and saw that they where with her”. Twilight charged up a teleportation spell and followed him. Celestia didn’t know what to do the only thing she said was.
“What have I done”.
The First Battles and Blood Clouds
As I woke up I saw that I was in my zombie hive. I started to rise and felt a slight pain in the right side of my face. Thinking back to what happened I swore I would get her. I stood up and started walking around. I saw zombies walking around and saw diamond dog zombies also.
As I reached the exit I saw a bright flash of light. The zombies started to growl and started towards the flash. I told them to hold and as the flash cleared I saw Twilight, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. “So what brings you here”? I didn’t trust them and they may be here to spy on me.
“We are not here to spy on you we are here to warn you”. Twilight had a worrying look on her face.
“Warn me of what”.
“Well by now Celestia probable has been to most of the towns to say that she will hunt you down”.
“Well the people will back her up so there is only one option apocalypse”.
Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy looked at me with horror on their faces. “I know you don’t like this but I can’t hide forever and she will find me I have to force her into submission. When you get back to Ponyville pack your stuff and move back to here”. They knew they couldn’t change my mind. They went on their way as I got the attack party ready.
5 minutes later.
It was in the middle of the day when I moved out with the attack party. As we neared Ponyville I had a group break off and head to Applejacks house. When the moment was right we charged. The roars of the zombies paralyzed the citizens as they where pounced on and devoured. The diamond dog zombies broke through t locked doors and you could hear the screams.
In about 6 minutes most of the town was dead and the streets were filled with blood and guts. Then we were showered with arrows. About 7 zombies went down with arrows in their brains. I pulled the arrows out and looked up and saw 3 squads of Royal guards. The Earth ponies charged and knocked most of the zombies down.
They all had smiles on their faces when they heard bones crack but where immediately replace with faces of shock. The zombies they thought they killed got up and only 9 stayed down. Another problem they face where the undead ponies coming back. They were surrounded and they tried to fight back but where quickly overwhelmed. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for them.
I ordered them to leave one pegasus alive. When the carnage was over there was one blood soaked pegasus. He was covered in the blood and guts of his fallen comrades. I ordered them to pin him down on his stomach. He tried to get away but the zombies had a firm grip.
I then took out my wrist bone blade and carved a message into his back. He screamed in pain and was wiggling which made it hurt more. When I was done I picked him up and told him “Now you go fly to your princess and show her that note”. He started to fly away and I lit Ponyville ablaze.
When the fire died down I had the zombies cover the town with Zomglop and had a group of hunters stay behind. When I got back to the hive I saw my spore launchers ready. I had them aim at two other towns and fire. I then walked back into the hive.
Pov Switch
As Celestia sat on her throne she was trying to find how to find that thing. Then one of her guards came through the doors and was clearly in pain. As he limped towards her she saw he was covered in blood. He fell short and died. When she walked over to him she saw a note carved into his back. She was sick to her stomach and almost threw up.
The note read “Why hello Celestia it was a shame you weren’t here to see this. You may ask see what and to answer that I attacked Ponyville and I am attacking other towns to. You brought this upon yourself I hope you can cope. You will watch you empire burn. Your worst enemy Racj.”
Celestia was shocked, anger, and something she hadn’t felt in a long time fear. She called for Shining Armor. When he got in the room he had a shocked face. “Shining we have no time to morn I need you to send some of the guards to our towns that thing is planning on attacking them”. He nodded and got on his way.
Celestia sat back on her throne and was thinking. “I hope we can win”.
Pov Switch
In the town of Cloudsdale everyone was minding themselves when a gut of dark green blew through the town. They thought it was just a gust but then a pegasus fell down and started to shake. When another pegasus went to see if he was ok the pony leapt on him and started to bite him. More ponies started to fall down and turn. Soon the town was in a panic.
Ponies where running pushing other ponies down. Then there stood a lone filly. As the zombies got closer she started to cry. Then one bent over and said in a gargled voice “We are not here to hurt the young”. Then they started to chase the other ponies down.
Some of the ones who got away started to fly. Out of the entire town about only 40 got out alive. One of the zombies saw a streak of rainbow and started to fly back to the hive to tell the boss. With all the blood spilled the clouds turned red. Those red clouds rained contaminated blood on other town speeding the infection.
Back at the hive Racj was planning other attacks when that zombie pony flew in when he heard the new he smiled.
