An Outer Perspective

    Wren knew it had been long enough, and any day now, she would have to leave. A ship would come, and she'd go back home. This planet was risky to get to, so she'd probably never return. She decided to make something of what could probably be her last day here. She decided to go on a picnic.

     Later that day, Wren sat in one of the fields around Ponyville with Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Applejack. It was a delicious meal, which consisted of sandwiches and apple pie.

     "Guys," Wren looked down, "I'm going to have to leave, soon."

     "What?" Rarity asked, "Why?"

     "I have a family, back home." Wren said, "Two brothers, and a boy I really like."

     "Can you come back ind visit?!" Pinkie asked.

     "No, this squadron is real outta the way," Wren said, "Not to mention dangerous to get to. I won't return unless I need to."

     "This is goodbye?" Twilight asked.

     "Any day now." Wren sighed, "Can I get a picture? I can give you all copies."

     "Sure." Rainbow Dash said as Wren pulled out a camera.

     "Everypony smile, smile, smile..." Pinkie grinned. There was a flash, and the picture was taken. Wren hit a few buttons on the screen, and seven copies were given.

     "This'll be safe." Applejack said.

     "I'll miss you, Wren." Fluttershy said, "You were so nice to my animals."

     "And your powers are fascinating." Twilight said.

     "Your speed is amazing." Rainbow said.

     "Yer strength out on the fields was jus' right." Applejack said.

     "Andyouareamazingatmakingcupcakes!!" Pinkie said.

     "And your fashion sense is wonderful, darling." Rarity said.

     "You guys are all great in your own special ways." Wren said.

     "I almost forgot!" they all said at once. Twilight teleported, Rainbow flew, and the rest ran away. Twilight returned first, then the rest.

     "We all got or made you something." Twilight handed her a copy of a legend book, "It has us in there, so if you ever want to know what we've done, just open it up."

     "I made you a dress." Rarity handed her a green and yellow dress with silver linings.

     "I found this book." Fluttershy handed her a book on animal care, "So if you ever forget, just remember this."

     "I got you a picture." Rainbow Dash handed her a picture, "It's called a Sonic Rainboom, I've done plenty."

     "Ah know this ain't the original." Applejack gave her a dark brown hat, which had to be a few years younger than hers, "But it's all yers."

     "I got you the cupcake recipe!" Pinkie handed her a slip of paper.

     "You guys-" Wren started, when a noise interrupted her.

     "Wren!" a voice called.

     "Aaron?" Wren asked, "Aaron!" She got up and stood next to the much taller man.

     "This is my older brother, Aaron." she said, "Aaron, this is Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Applejack."

     "You've met the creatures here?" Aaron asked, "You understand what kind of scientific discoveries we can make from this? You know what this can do, right?" Aaron was a green Incedential, though he had the same hair color as Wren.

     "Aaron!" Wren said, "Say 'hello' before science!"

     "Well, Daniel is expecting you home soon," Aaron said, "And Chris is watching the ship."

     "I... have to say goodbye, and get my things." Wren looked at her friends, "I'm sorry I have to leave right after I told you I was."

     "No problem, sugarcube." Applejack said.

     "I guess this is goodbye." Rainbow Dash said.

     "We won't forget you, Wren." Fluttershy said.

     "I hope you have fun back home!" Pinkie said.

     "Make sure ta take care, now." Applejack said.

     "Don't ruin that dress now, darling, it was expensive!" Rarity said.

     "I look forward to seeing you again." Twilight smiled. They then watched as Wren's ship flew away, not to be seen again for a while.
