RainbowDash was hanging out in the library with Twilight because RainbowDash's cable was out and she had to watch her favorite show PleasantPonyVille. It was pretty old but not as lame as all old things. She sat back on Twilight's bed and began watching it, bouncing up and down like a schoolfilly. Twilight was downstairs, working on reorganizing books and writing a letter to Celestia. RainbowDash turned it up really loud, causing Twilight to jump and shout, "RainbowDash! turn it down!" RainbowDash shouted back, "But I can't hear it!" she pouted. Twilight came up and grabbed the remote with her magic and tried tugging it from RainbowDash. Her voice got forceful, "Turn. It. Down. Now!" Rainbow grabbed it with her teeth and tried pulling, also trying to talk around it "I cahnt hear it!" She spit it out, causing the channel to change, and Twilight accidentally let go, causing it to hit the wall and shatter. Rainbow shouted out, "Great! Just great! Now I can't watch my totally awesome show!" She sighed,and kicked back, grabbing a Daring-Do book and began reading to calm down. Twilight said "can't you just change it on the tv?" RainbowDash shook her head, "this is one of those new fancy tvs without the buttons on it!" she pouted, and looked mad. Twilight was about to say something when there was a knock on the Library door. Twilight called out, "The Library is opened~." They then heard the door open, then close. An old (not too old) and old fashioned, happy, quirky stallion voice called out "TV Repair Pony! I heard ya needed a new remote!" he trotted up the stairs and Twilight whispered to RainbowDash, "huh, how'd he know?" Rainbow just shrugged. He green stallion, carrying a tool box in his mouth. He looked pretty old, but also kinda young. He had purple eyes and a TV Repair Pony Hat on over his Mane that reminded RainbowDash of bacon. He was also an earth pony. "the names green bean!" he said, after dropping the tool box and taking his hat off, bowing. He then saw the smashed remote and PleasantPonyVille on TV. He sighed happily "I remember when this first aired! I was just a colt but I would always watch it." he smiled remembering fondly. "hey! Do you remember the episode where Sassafras lost her little cousin? What store did they try looking in again?" Rainbow laughed. "That's easy! Auto's Home Store," The old Stallion looked at her suspiciously "you mean Sarsaparilla's Root Beer Bar, right?" She laughed again. "No seriously! Remember the jingle for Auto's? Auto's has what you need, chickens, windows, pony feed?" she chanted very easily, all the while Twilight just watched dumbly (which is an odd statement for her). The old stallion laughed and applauded, "ah that's correct! Sorry, I may be a fan, but that doesn't forget an old stallion from forgetting" he tapped his head with a hoof and winked. RainbowDash, a bit annoyed, said, "yeah yeah, I like the show and stuff. Can you just give me the remote now?" he opened his toolbox "ah my mistake miss! I got caught up in the nostalgia." inside was an identical remote. Then under it was actually a silver remote with an atomic symbol on it, but looked similar. "I think you should have this one." He smiled and said "enjoy your show!" he walked down the stairs and Twilight said, "well... That was a bit odd." Rainbow wasn't paying attention though, she changed the channel to see if it worked. To her excitement, it did! She changed the channel back. Suddenly there was a weird light, then everything was black. That could be due to their eyes being closed though. They opened them and looked around, everything was in black and white. "sassafras! Sodapop! come eat breakfast, you'll be late for school!" they looked and saw a pretty black and white mare, who was smiling sweetly. This home looked old, and odd to Twilight who was very curious "who a--" Rainbow had a hoof on her muzzle "shhhhhh, that's our mother" she whispered to Twilight "you're apparently Sodapop, I'm sassafras ok? we're in the show and we need to get back." The mare stomped a hoof impatiently "well? C'mon!" Twilight looked at RainbowDash, scared. "There has to be some way to describe this type of magic. Possibly science. Either way, we need to find out and leave." she frowned and began thinking, but suddenly the mare came in and motioned them to the kitchen. "come come! TV can wait! School can't!" Twilight and Rainbow looked at each other "Ok.. Mom?" Twilight said shrugging. Then entered the kitchen.
Something isn't right here
RainbowDash and Twilight met up and went to their final class (because,, You know.. Less school makes happy ponies) which was Geography. They went in and sat at their desks. On the teacher's desk sat... like, 10 apples. On the board was a sketch of two streets: Equestria Street and Mane Street. The teacher said "Good morning class!" to which they replied "Good morning Mrs. Bookworm," they said in unison. The teacher tapped the board and said "now, can anyone tell me the difference between Equestria Street and Mane Street?" A random colt raised a hoof "Mane Street is bigger?" The teacher clapped her hooves "Very good Steam Boat!" he smiled cheekily.
Twilight then asked "what's at the end of Mane Street?" everyone looked at her and the teacher asked, confused, "what ever do you mean SodaPop?" She then said "I mean, what is at the end of the road?" The teacher then smiled and said "Where Mane street ends, Equestria Street silly!" the teacher giggled.
The class lasted 30 more minutes. Then they went home. When they got there, they both went into the bathroom getting ready for two different things. Twilight said happily, "Swish asked me on a date" She clapped her hooves and RainbowDash replied "I know. I saw this episode." Then Twi asked "What are you getting ready for?" Rainbow Answered "work, and I am so late." she said, putting on a a hat and bowtie to work at the local diner.
She flew to work quickly and entered greeting her boss "Evening Mr Sloppy Joe" he smiled and said "evening Sass.." she looked at him and said "sorry sir, I'm late." He whispered "listen, you know how you always open the blinds, set the napkins in the holder, then I wipe the counter and then business begins?" Rainbow nodded and he said "well you weren't here.. So I kept wiping the counter" The counter was black it was so scrubbed "I-I couldn't stop" he said, as dash put a hoof on the rag "stop. Ok, You don't need me! You can do that stuff on your own!" she grinned up at him and he said "I can?" She nodded and said "yep. So if I'm late again, you can do it, and I can handle things when I get here" he smiled "thank you Sassy." she nodded and they waited for the night.

Twilight and Swish walked into the busy, and quite packed diner. It was full of teens and stuff. She sat and RainbowDash walked over and greeted them "Hi! May I take your orders?" She smiled at both of them and swish said "Just a burger and fizzy grape cola." She turned to Twilight "and for you Sodapop?" she smiled "can I get a dandelion sandwich and a cup of apple juice?" Swish looked at her weird and she quickly said "So just a dandelion sandwich and a fizzy grape cola"
she smiled keenly and dash took their order ticket and posted it, calling out "one dandelion sandwich, one cheese burger, and 2 fizzy grape colas!" her boss was hiding "we're out of food" he looked like a nervous wreck and she simply replied "No we aren't. You can make the burgers, bread, and sandwiches if I'm busy!" he stood up and said "oh.. thank you Sassafras, thank you!" he ran into the kitchen, and began cooking.

Twilight sat at the table when their food got there.They began eating. When they finished, She said "We should get out of here, I got something really fun to show you" she winked and got up, guiding him to makeout point."
When they got there, they began kissing and he said "Soda! I really like you, w-will you go steady with me?" He blushed and she just simply said "Yes. Now follow me" They went behind a tree which started shaking and moans were heard. A few minutes later they emerged from behind the tree and looked quite sloppy. Swish said "w-wow! I really liked that" She grinned and replied "Me too. Now let's go." They didn't notice, but on one of the tree's, one of the apples were red!
