Chapters Zock's adventure
I DO NOT OWN My Little Pony: Friendship is magic or Runescape.
It was a quiet day in Edgeville, where an adventurer by the name of Zockmadness was getting ready for a fight against his friend Mini Lbj. Zockmadness is a devout follower of Zaros, and a great PvMer, but he wanted to try out his skills in PvP. After checking his quick curses, which were set to Turmoil, Soul Split, and Protect Item, he checked his inventory. Satisfied with the potions and food, he checked his equipped gear. He was wearing a Bandos chestplate, tassets, boots, gloves, helm, a Tokhaar-kal, a Sixth-Age circuit, an Amulet of Fury, and dual Drygore maces. Looking to his friend, Zockmadness said, "You ready noob?" Mini Lbj was wearing full Ganodermic, along with a Polypore staff.
"You do know that I'm going to wreck you right?" Mini said with an annoyed look.
"Keep dreaming," Zockmadness replied.
After both adventurers were ready, they walked to the south of the bank, and they pulled the old lever in the abandoned building. Immediately after pulling the lever, they felt ancient and powerful energies flowing through them, as they were teleported. Deep in the Wilderness, the soon-to-be combatants ran south to avoid unnecessary conflict. Along the way, they encountered the Chaos Elemental. The Chaos Elemental was a cloud of pure chaos energy with a strange creature stickin out of it. The Chaos Elemental was different somehow. It didn't do any damage, it only unequipped their weapons and things that were just annoying. Deciding that it would be a waste of time and energy, the adventurers started to run away. As they were running, they were hit with chaotic magic from behind, and hit in the backpacks. Checking their gear for damage, they continued running. After getting far enough, Zockmadness drank a dose of his Overload potion and began shaking violently. "Hey! You know I don't have Overloads!" Mini shouted with a slightly nervous undertone.
"That's why I'm using one. You are in mage gear, quit complaining," Zockmadness replied. Deciding to try to get some extra damage in, Zock smacks Mini with his main hand mace, dealing a substantial amount of damage.
"Shit!" yells Mini, surprised at the suddenness of the attack. Mini eats some Rocktails to recover the lost health. The battle was neck-and-neck after that, but it was approaching it's conclusion. Mini, seeing that his opponent is out of food, freezes Zock with Ice Burst. Immediately after that, Mini fires a Blood barrage at Zock. Zock, trying to escape the deadly spell shot his way, blindly throws his teleport tablet to the ground; not noticing the rainbow-colored crack in it. Upon seeing Zock disappear, Mini decides to teleport away as well to escape any would-be PKers. Repeating what Zock did, Mini teleported to what should be safety. Little did the friend know, they were just beginning a new adventure.
--Elsewhere, about 15 minutes earlier--
Discord was bored. He had reformed, and couldn't have any fun without being encased in stone for another two thousand years. That didn't stop him from thinking of ways to still indirectly cause chaos. Knowing that he couldn't do anything in this universe, he searched for a world chaotic enough to have fun in. Finding one that wasn't too peaceful or too chaotic that he wouldn't be noticed, he snapped his eagle talons together, and disappeared from Equestria. In seconds, he reappeared outside of an abandoned castle in the middle of a charred wasteland. He figured that he would have some fun here before returning to his friend Fluttershy. Looking around for something to do, he spotted a cloud of pure chaos energy with some kind of creature sticking out of it. Discord decided to have some fun, both with the strange beast, and anyone who he came across. Snapping his eagle talons together, he morphed himself to look just like the beast. His plan was to turn everyone against the beast by framing it for his chaotic deeds. Not knowing how long he would be waiting, he started exploring. About 5 minutes later, he encountered two powerful looking adventurers. Discord, seeing the chance to have some fun, fired a chaos blast at one of the adventurers, unequipping his weapon. This just seemed to frustrate the warrior, and seeing that he looked like he was ready for a battle or something, did the same thing to his friend. The duo ran away from Discord, not noticing that he had done something to their backpacks. Seeing that his fun was over, Discord changed back into his mismatched self. Chuckling at his own antics, the draconequus clicked his eagle talons together again.
--Present time--
"What the hell? This isn't my house!" yelled Mini in frustration.
I still don't know how that is resting... Mini thought. "Ha! You teleported first! Good fight noob," Mini said with a sense of superiority. Grunting, Zock stood back up, and got a good look at his surroundings.
Where the hell are we? This doesn't look like any place I've seen. Zock thought to himself.
They were in a heavily wooded area, looking like Tirannwn, the forest of the elves, but different somehow. Hearing a snapping twig a few feet to his right, Zock jumped backwards while spinning to get a good look at his attacker. It looks like a wolf of some kind, but completely made of wood. Knowing that it had failed in its sneak attack, the wolf howled. At first nothing happened, but then the wolf looked behind itself. Upon seeing the other five wolves that were its backup frozen in place by chunks of ice, the wolf donned a fearful expression. "This is the part where you run off with your tail between your legs," Zock said with a maniacal grin. The wolf scurried away, thankful to still be alive.
"You do know that I had it right? Also, get Ice barrage noob," Zock said.
"Yes, but we're both low on health from our fight, so I took some initiative. I also just saved your ass," replied Mini with a smug look.
"I'm going to see if I can find any landmarks," said Zock, shaking his head in exasperation.
Finding a tall tree, Zock climbed up nimbly. "I think I see a town that way! I can also see what I think are people down there!" He shouted to Mini, while pointing at it.
"Let's go then!" Mini replied, noting the direction that Zock was pointing.
After about 3 minutes of walking through the dense foliage of the forest, they see the town that they spotted. What Zock didn't spot however, was that all of the "people" were actually miniature horses.
"What the hell?" Both adventurers asked at the same time.

Chapter two
"This doesn't look like anywhere on Geilinor that I know of," Mini stated with a confused expression.
"Thanks Captain Obvious," Zock deadpanned.
"You're welcome," Mini replied sarcastically.
Amongst their bickering, neither adventurer noticed six eyes looking at them from a nearby bush with a slightly scared look.
--Inside the bush--
"Ah'm tryin' not to!" Applebloom whisper-yelled back with an annoyed look.
"Stop fighting guys! How are we going to get out 'Weird Creature Watchers' cutie marks if you two scare hem off?" Sweetie Belle scolded.
"She's got a point. How will you get your whatever-you-called-its if you scare us off?" said Zock to the three. Zock had snuck up on them when he heard the loud whispering.
The three fillies froze with fear. Slowly turning their heads, the three gaped at the creature with its fierce battle armor.
"D-did th-that th-thing j-just talk!?" Scootaloo asked.
"No, no I didn't," Zock replied sarcastically while deadpanning.
"AAAAHHHHH!" screamed the three fillies in unison as they bolted out of the bush towards the town.
Mini was about to freeze the trio in place with his ice burst, but Zock stopped him.
"It would do more harm than good if you were to freeze them. If anything, you would just be proving that we are big and scary," Zock said wisely.
"Aren't we though?" Mini asked.
"That's besides the point!" Zock yelled. I wonder if they have ever seen any other humans around here... They only called us weird creatures...
"You are such a dumbass," Mini said with a grin.
"We should probably find out where we are. I used my last teleport tablet to get here," Zock said, ignoring the smartass comment.
"Same here. Come to think of it, why did we each only bring one?" Mini asked with a quizzical look.
"Zaros has probably planned this. You know how the Empty Lord is," Zock explained. If this was the Empty Lord's doing, then he would probably expect us to just blindly enter the village. Or he might have thought that I thought that himself, and expect me to wait here. But then again, he might have thought far enough ahead that he would expect me to go into the village anyways... Ugh! I need to leave the deep thinking to Zaros. This is just hurting my head...
"Did you hear me?" Mini asked.
"Huh? What?" Zock asked, coming out of his thoughts.
"I said that we should probably try to find out where we are. If you can remember, we don't know where we are," Mini said after audibly facepalming.
"Lead the way then smartass," Zock said with a glare.
Mini sighed and began to head towards the town. The town that was full of activity was now empty.
"Halt! In the name of the princess!"
Turning around, Mini and Zock saw a platoon of armored ponies, the lead one being a unicorn with a blue mane.
"What exactly have we done wrong?" asked Zock with a raised eyebrow.
"Attempting to eat three fillies!"
"We didn't try to eat them though! They were spying on us, and we called them out!" yelled Mini in outrage.
"We'll see what the court has to say about that," replied the guard.
At that point, the guards formed themselves around the adventurers. There were twelve guards in total; four unicorns, one being the guard they spoke to, four pegasi, and four earth ponies. They were grouped together in groups of three for maximum effectiveness.
Zock, not wanting to seriously injure any of them, put his maces away, but raised his fists. "Vim inimici mihi bono inclina... (Turn the power of my enemy to my benefit.)" Zock muttered, activating Turmoil. Mini got into a combat stance, activated Torment, and prepared to fight. The guards took this as a threat and all charged at once. Mini froze two groups of them with one ice burst, but he missed the pegasi. The missed pegasi then flew into the air and attempted to dive-bomb mini at high speeds. Mini saw this, and narrowly jumped out of the way. Zock recognized their combat styles quickly. "Mini! I figured out their combat styles! The Pegasi are like archers, the regular ones are melee, and the unicorns must be mages!" shouted Zock.
"I noticed!" yelled Mini, who was currently being attacked by an earth pony, a unicorn, and three pegasi.
"Arceto impetum magorum... (I deflect attacks from mages.)"Zock muttered under his breath, and a strange symbol appeared above his head. The symbol was a picture of a hat, with an arrow bouncing off of it.
The guard that spoke to them first fired a stunning spell at Zock, only to have it rebound and hit him instead. The earth pony who wasn't engaged with mini or frozen, attempted to rush Zock and hit him with his spear. Zock smiled and grabbed the incoming spear. The guard suddenly began to feel weaker, while Zock appeared to become stronger. With a quick punch to the face, the guard was rendered unconscious. The pegasus noticed this and attempted to surprise him with a rush from behind, only to hit Zock's armor like a bag of potatoes thrown at a brick wall.
While Zock was dealing with the guards attacking him, Mini was having trouble. The pegasi that were attacking him were very troublesome. He couldn't land a good hit on any of them, and was quickly becoming exhausted. Getting annoyed with the excess spellfire being tossed his way, Mini quickly froze the unicorn and earth pony. Seeing how Zock dealt with the unicorn guard, Mini got an idea. "Arceto impetum telorum... (I deflect attacks of missiles.)" Mini muttered. An image of two arrows with an arrow bouncing off of them appeared above his head. The pegasi, seeing what happened to their captain, tried to slow down. They would have succeeded, had it not been for their momentum.
All guards dealt with, the adventurers disabled their curses to save their prayer points, and started to tend to everyone's injuries.
The two adventurers, once finished, looked around the battle area. The first thing they noticed was the multitude of eyes on them from the surrounding buildings. The second was the enraged purple unicorn galloping towards them.
"Ahh shit," said the adventurers in unison.

Chapter 3
--Earlier--
"Yes, Twilight!" Spike shouted upstairs. This was the third time today that Spike had to re-shelf the books, but knowing how Twilight is, he didn't argue.
Suddenly, a knocking sound came from the door. Spike opened the door to see Twilight's older brother outside.
"Spike!" Shining greeted in his usual surfer-pony way.
"Hey Shining. Twilight is upstairs," Spike said with a tired look.
"Did she have you re-shelve the books five or six times today or something?" Shining asked, noting Spike's expression.
"Three actually. I'm actually surprised myself, but I'm not going to complain," Spike shrugged.
"I know how she can be. Just-" Shining started to say before being cut off by several rapid knocks on the door. Answering the door, Spike was surprised to see the CMC outside with panicked expressions.
"Woah! What happened?" Spike asked.
"M-Monsters were trying to eat us!"they shouted in unison. "We were just watching them, when a timber wolf attacked one of them. The other monster raised this weird blue and yellow stick into the air and all of the wolves behind the one that attacked the first monster were frozen in blocks of ice! The first monster then scared off the remaining wolf by talking to it!"
"Wait, they can talk? What did they look like?" asked Spike.
"They were standing on their hind legs, had claws sticking out of their front hooves, and were dressed up in this spiky metal armor," Sweetie Belle explained, calming down, but still a little panicked.
"Ah heard it talkin' mahself," Applebloom said.
"Where did Shining Armor go?" asked Scootaloo.
True to her word, Shining Armor was nowhere to be seen. After hearing that they tried to eat the fillies and could talk, we went outside to the carriage that he arrived in. He retrieved his armor from a chest inside of the passenger area of the carriage, which he always keeps there for emergencies. After donning his armor, he found a few guards around, and told them to get ready for battle. Seeing the royal guard prepping for battle, the ponies of the town took shelter inside of the surrounding buildings. The guards prepared to confront the creatures when they saw them. They are definitely soldiers of some kind, but WHAT are they? Shining Armor thought to himself.
"Where is everyone?" asked the warrior with the spikes.
They were planning on hurting everypony here!? This must stop! Shining thought with a scowl. "Halt! In the name of the princess!" Shining shouted at them.
"What exactly have we done wrong?" asked the same warrior calmly.
"Attempting to eat three fillies!" Shining yelled back.
"We didn't try to eat them though! They were spying on us, and we called them out!" yelled the warrior with the weird stick in outrage.
"We'll see what the court has to say about that," Shining stated with a determined look.
The warrior with the spiky armor put his weapons away, making Shining relax. He tensed up when he heard the warrior mutter something and shoot lightning between his hands. The other warrior got into a stance, and repeated what the first warrior did. Taking this as a sign of aggression, the guards readied themselves to take down the beasts. All of the sudden, the one with the stick raised said stick into the air, freezing two platoons of guards, minus the pegasi, who flew out of the way. The pegasi then proceeded to attempt to dive-bomb the creature in an attempt to subdue it quickly. The creature managed to barely get out of the way. Another platoon of guards began to attack said creature while the pegasi distracted it.
"Mini! I figured out their combat styles! The Pegasi are like archers, the regular ones are melee, and the unicorns must be mages!" shouted the creature with spikes to the creature that they assumed was named 'Mini'.
"I noticed!" Mini shouted back in-between the pegasus' strikes.
Seeing that the still-unnamed warrior was distracted, Shining began to charge up a stunning spell. The warrior began to mutter again, and this time, a symbol of a hat and arrow materialized above its head. Ignoring this, Shining fired the blast, only to have it rebound and render him unconscious.
--Back at the Library--
"Spike, what are those fillies doing here? Where's Shining? Is everything clean?" Twilight quickly asked.
"To answer your questions in order, they were almost eaten by monsters, dealing with said monsters, and for the third time today, yes."
Twilight's eyes widened, while her pupils shrunk to pinpricks. She opened and closed her jaw a couple times, but eventually bolted out the door. Upon leaving the library, she saw the monsters surrounded by several frozen guards, a few unconscious ones, and her brother.
Without thinking, she charged.
