"Spike! Did you clean the shelves like I asked you?" Twilight asked. She just got back from a picnic, and Spike wasn't aloud to come...again. The night shined and Luna did a pretty good job at making the moon beautiful. "Yes Twilight." Spike said sadly.

Twilight's ears perked up from his tone of voice. "What's wrong?" She asked.

"Well..." Spike always wanted to tell Twilight that he should at least be invited some time. Sure, he got to go to Rarity's place once in a while, but...name one (Besides the Crystal Empire) that he was aloud to go somewhere with no questions asked? "Is just...it's no fair you get to go with your friends to adventures, while I'm stuck cleaning up after you."

Twilight was shocked at this. Did he really just say 'while I'm stuck cleaning after her?!' "What do you mean? You make messes too!" Twilight says, still trying to keep her cool down.

"I know! I know...but it's no fair you get to hang out. When do I get to have fun?" Spike asked.

"You can read some Daring Do books! That's fun!" Twilight said.

"I don't think you understand, Twilight. I need some adventure too. I don't always want to be left behind." He said as he went up the stairs. Twilight felt a little anger rise through her head. She just didn't want her number one assistant killed, destroyed, zapped, whatever situation she was in! "Spike!" She called.

"Just...forget it." Spike said, now fully leaving sight. He went to the porch and stared at the stars. He sighed and whispered to himself, "I just want to go on an adventure for once. To feel excitement without being looked over."

He sighed once again, and stared back at the stars, only to see a star falling. "A shooting star!" Spike said. He closed his eyes, and whispered, "I wish that I get to go on an adventure!"

He opened his eyes, expecting something bad to happen, but...nothing came but cricket sounds and the moon shining onto the ground. He closed his eyes again, and said it a little louder. "I wish I get to go on adventure!" He said again, but nothing came.

No explosion, no arrows, no traps, no nothing! Not even a little spook! Spike sighed sadly and got in his basket. "Should've know." He said, now resting on his pillow. "Most wishes don't always come true."

Applebloom came through the door with a big smile. "Hey sis!" She said.

"Howdy, Applebloom! How's yer day been goin'?" Applejack asked.

"We tried to get our night-time fire flys cutie marks...but that didn't go so well." Applebloom says.

Applejack's ears perked at this and stared away from dinner. "Whatcha mean?" She asked.

"We tried to catch fire fly's, but Ms. Cheerlie told us to go home. Ah tried to be honest with her...but she wouldn't listen to me. She just sent us home." Applebloom says.

"Aw shoot. Well...dinner will be ready soon. Go nuts." Applejack says. Applebloom smiles and runs into her room. She sticks her head out of the window and gazes at the stars. A few seconds later, she see's a shooting star. "A shootin' star!" She says.

She closed her eyes and whispered, "I wish Ah can get my cutie mark!" She looked at her flank...and it was still blank. She closed her eyes again and repeated what she said. She looked back at her flank...and it was still bare. She frowned and went onto her bed. "Ah guess not all wishes come true." Applebloom said to herself.

"Applebloom! Dinner's ready!" A voice called.

"Comin'!" Applebloom said with a small smile as she ran downstairs.

"Rarity! Can I use your gems?" Sweetie Belle asked, now coming in through the door.

"Why, Sweetie Belle?" Rarity asked, not paying any attention to her but the clothes.

"I just want to color." Sweetie Belle says.

Rarity looked away from the clothes to get more gems, but she didn't look all to serious. "I'm sorry, sweetie, but you can't use them right now. You know that." She muffled when she picked the clothes.

"Oh...okay." Sweetie Belle said sadly. She went up stairs and sighed. "I always want them to be happy, even try to be nice to them. But nopony ever listens to me. Even when I try to tell them it's a horrible idea."

She looked at the stars and it shined bright enough to get her attention. A shootIng star flew across the sky and Sweetie Belle gasped in excitement. "I wish ponies would actually just listen to me for once." She said. She gave it a few seconds and ran downstairs. "Rarity! Can I use the gems now?"

"Sorry, sweetie. Not now." She heard. Sweetie Belle sighed in sadness and went right back upstairs. "I guess wishes don't always come true."

Scootaloo stared at the stars, sleeping in her little chicken coop...in Fluttershy's yard. "No fair...I have no home...no parents...but at least Fluttershy takes care of me." She said. She looked at the stars, and saw a shooting star. She smiled as she ran from her coop. "I wish I had a family!" Scoot says.

The night remained, and no pony came by to check on her. It just...it just stayed quiet.  "I...guess I shouldn't expect it to happen right of the bat." Scoot says frowning. She sat in her coop and stared at the stars.

"Dad! I'm home!" Diamond says, closing the door behind her.

No response.

"Daddy?" Diamond called again. She looked around her mansion...and it was dead...quiet. She checked in the bedroom...not a thing was out of place. She checked in the living room...and it was still clean. She checked everywhere in the house...but could not find one thing that's out of place!

So what's going on here?!

She checked the front door, and saw a note. "Hm?" She asked. She pulled the note of the door...and gave it a go. "Dear...Tiara." She says, now fully given into the note. "I'm going to Las Pegasus with your mother on vacation. Your butler should be able to take care of you while I'm gone. I'm sorry I didn't get to spend enough time with you, and I should be back home soon. Love, Daddy."

Tears start to swell up as she ran upstairs into her room. She started to cry, but the night sky got her attention. She looked out, and saw a shooting star. Diamond wiped a tear, and she closed her eyes. "I just wish that someone would spend time with me. Please..." She begged.

She left the window, and got into her covers as wet tears fell into the pillows. "Please..."

Silver Spoon got home, and her parents were fixing up dinner. "Hi, honey." the mom says. "Wanna eat?"

"No thanks. I had a long day." Silver joked.

"Hmm...found a stallion yet?" Her father asked. Silver froze up as her cheeks burned in anger. "S-seriously, dad?" Silver asked.

"Just messin' with ya." Her father says. She runs upstairs, and as the starry night star caught her attention, she saw the shooting star. "I wish I can find a stallion. One that's cute...and...can save me from danger." She says.

She leaves the window and gets into her bed.

However...that wasn't any ordinary star...

...That was a meteor...

.....And that meteor crashed in the Everfree Forest.
