Chapters "Scootaloo! Come on! Don't you wanna play?" the dark blue filly said to Scootaloo.
"Hang on, Ardor!" Scootaloo called to her twin sister, "I need to find my toy!"
"Come on, Scoots." Ardor said, 'We don't have all day." Ardor had alluring purple eyes, a deep blue mane, and a slightly lighter colored coat. Scootaloo and Ardor were best friends, as well as sisters.
"Found it! Let's go!" Scootaloo rushed to her sister.
"Scootaloo, stop daydreamin' and get back to work!" A farm stallion yelled at the thirteen year old filly. In this world, things operated differently. Foals were born as slaves, and not released until they were eighteen years of age. When Scootaloo's parents had sold her, she was relocated to some apple farm. Sadly, the same could not be said about her sister.
"Apple Bloom! Why is every foal slacking off today?" the farm stallion sighed, "It all happened after A.J left."
Scootaloo rushed back to work. Bucking apple trees, towing said apples. It was hard work for her, her legs weren't strong. She formed a bond with the other filly, Apple Bloom. She just wished for a better tomorrow.
That night, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo sat in the barn. They lived there.
"It ain't fair what they do to foals here." Apple Bloom said, "Ah wish the world was different. Or, we had ponies that cared about us at least. And we knew were our family was."
"Hey, Apple Bloom, it's just life." Scootaloo assured her, "When we get older, let's start a revolution against the Princess!"
"Heh, you know what? Yeah. That's just what Anonia needs." Apple Bloom giggled, "A revolution."
"I wonder if there's already one." Scootaloo said, coincidentally, a mare dressed in black jumped in the wondow, scaring the foals.
"Don't worry." a muffled voice said, "Y'all are going to be safe. Come with me."
A chance to be safe, they were not going to pass it up. They went with the mare, through the orchards, then through the forest. After several hours, the foals grew tired.
"Where are we going?" Scootaloo asked the mare.
"We have a place up ahead, should be there any time now." the mare replied.
"Why did you take us?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Revolution. Foal Protection Agency." the mare replied.
"You mean, we're safe?" Scootaloo asked.
"Eeyup." the mare replied, "Look, there it is."
A town, in the middle of the forest. No pony knew about it. Ponies everywhere. All of them had the same opinions. They all cared about what her.
"There's a meet up later." the mare said, "You get to see ponies you thought you'd never see again. I know some for a fact foals are goin' to be happy."
"Ma'am, is my sister here?" Scootaloo asked.
"You'll have tah wait and see. You two are in building seven, it's gotta big seven on it." the mare trotted off.
"Ardor!" Scootaloo reached for her sister, being pulled back.
"Scootaloo!" Ardor reached for Scootaloo, being kept back.
"Sisters forever?" Scootaloo looked at the other filly.
"Sisters forever." Ardor soobed, "Goodbye, Scootaloo."
"I swear, if it takes me eternity, I will find you! I swear to the lost princess!" Scootaloo said as she got a last glimpse of her sister.
"May our paths cross again!" Ardor called, "May the lost princess guide us to each other!"
"May the lost princess bring her to me." Scootaloo said, "May the lost princess bring Ardor back."
Seven months passed. Not a sign. No pony close to Scootaloo's heart was here. At least, not yet.
"Alright, you guys!" Pinkie said, "On stage for his second attempt, we have... Shining Armor Sparkle! Tell me, Mr. Shining, is it alright if we know who you're looking for?"
"Yeah." he smiled, "I'm looking for my little sister-"
"Shining!" a purple unicorn raced to the stage.
"Twiley!" Shining said to her.
"Shining, I missed you." she hugged her brother.
"I missed you too, Twilight." the siblings walked off the stage.
"Alright," Pinkie said, "Her for her seventy-sixth attempt, Scootaloo!"
Scootaloo trotted onto the stage. Pinkie had made it a habit to announce how many tries a pony had taken already.
"My name is Scootaloo Ringo Wing, and I'm looking for my twin sister, Ardor, and my older sister, Rainbow Dash." Scootaloo said.
"Scootaloo, I'm sorry. Better luck next time." Pinkie said. Scootaloo trotted off the stage, defeated.
"I just want my sisters." Scootaloo mumbled, "I just want my family." She cried. She cried until she couldn't. She needed her family. She needed her sisters.
The Party Animal's Sisters
"Alrighty!" Pinkie said, "Welcome back to... Find Your Family! Today, back for more, we have... Scootaloo Wing! Looking for her sisters, will she find them? It's been eighty-two tries. She's real persistent. Almost reminds me of myself."
As always, no pony called for Scootaloo.
"Alright! Now, we got Newbie Finders!" Pinkie cheered, "Who wants to go first?"
"Us!" Two mares trotted onto the stage, "We're Limestone and Marble, and we're looking for you, Pinkie."
"Limestone! Marble!" Pinkie tackled her sisters, "I haven't seen you since the rock farm!"
Scootaloo watched as the sisters trotted off the stage, leaving the crowd unknowing of what to do.
Scootaloo, in tears, was sold. She was put in a cart. Didn't these ponies see? They were breaking families. They were hurting ponies. But foals were not ponies in their eyes. Foals were foals.
A red farm stallion told her to quit her whining. She was a slave, and that was all she was. She was not a pony. She was not a living thing capable of emotions. She was a slave. It wasn't right. In her ears, she heard a voice. "Don't cry, little Scoots. Don't cry. Ssh. There, there. It's alright. Don't worry."
"Trash, you are." the stallion said, "But, we got you fer a good price. So Ah reckon you'll be able to do the work A.J did before she left. Or else I'll be using a whip again." He used his whip on the foal, "Now stop yer whinin'! Yer a worthless sack of out, you know? Not capable of anything!"
"You're trash." Scootaloo wanted to say. She wanted so bad to be with her sister. She wanted to be somewhere safe. Somewhere she would be happy. But she looked to the sky, as raindrops fell. How can I be happy now? she thought.
Another Set of Two, Still Not Us
"Scootaloo," Pinkie said, "Scootaloo has been searching for the past year. Why she hasn't found her sisters yet is absurd. Let's give it one last go, Scootaloo Wing!" No pony called. Scootaloo trotted of the stage.
"Next up, we have Rarity." Pinkie said. A mare walked onto the stage.
"R-Rarity?" a filly asked. She trotted onto the stage.
"Sweetie Belle!" they hugged each other, "Sweetie, I missed you. Please don't ever do that again."
"I promise." Sweetie Belle said, they left.
"W-where's my sister?" Scootaloo asked herself, "Why won't she come? Where is Rainbow Dash?! Where is Ardor?! Why isn't Dad here?! He's the only one who cares." She cried.
"Scootaloo," Ardor said, "This isn't fair."
"Life isn't fair." Scootaloo replied, "But if it was, it wouldn't be fun."
"Scootaloo, let's make a pact." Ardor said after a bit of silence.
"Alright. Sisters forever?" Scootaloo reached out to hold hooves with her sister.
"Sisters forever." Ardor held Scootaloo's hoof.
"Enemies never." they said at the same time.
"Life will get better, Ardor." Scootaloo laid on her back, "With all the money we'll make, we're going to move into a big house. Then, we can protect foals there? How 'bout it?"
"I'd like that." Ardor smiled.
"I knew it. And we can have a giant garden, just for you." Scootaloo gestured to the filly's cutie mark, a red rose. "And a flying ring for me." She looked at her own, a white wing.
"Nice." Ardor giggled. Scootaloo giggled too. They were actually happy. For once in their lives, they were happy.
"Sisters forever." Scootaloo recited, "Enemies never." She got up, and trotted back to her house.
"Sorry, S." Pinkie said, "Gonna have to delay your try."
"It's fine." Scootaloo watched the stage.
"Alright, you awesomely awesome ponies." Pinkie said, "Have we gotta treat for you. A pair of sisters, looking for their own. How sweet!"
Scootaloo only heard fragments, as she looked away from the stage. "...Scootaloo." shoved her into reality. She turned around. A cyan mare with a rainbow mane, as well as a dark blue filly with a midnight coat, stood there.
"Ardor! Rainbow Dash!" Scootaloo tackled her sisters.
"Scoots, you're okay!" Rainbow Dash hugged her.
"Scootaloo! I missed you!" Ardor hugged her.
"I love you guys." Scootaloo said.
The three sisters spent time with a lot of time with each other. Getting to know one another. Their story, though, will not end here. They have much to do.
They sat on the curb, playing a game of marbles. Ardor kept winning, be the only one out of the three that wasn't a jock. She was used to these kind of games.
Scootaloo won whenever they played catch, the filly being used to round falling objects. She was also great at throwing.
Rainbow Dash won their races, having experience. She had to teach Ardor a bit bout flying, and Scootaloo barely anything. But it was worth it, because she got to spend time with them.
"I'm happy we're together." Ardor said.
"Ditto." Rainbow said.
"Me too." Scootaloo finished.
The three sisters trotted by the Family Game. They had no reason to go there anymore.
"I was a horrible father most of their lives. They think I'm dead." a stallion said, "I'm just looking for my daughters, Rainbow Dash, Ardor, and Scootaloo."
They stopped in their tracks, and looked at the stage. A rainbow maned pegasus with purple fur was on the stage. The stared in silence.
"I-is that...?" Ardor asked.
"It is." Rainbow Dash replied.
"I think I remember him sticking up for us." Scootaloo said.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Strike it looks like-" Pinkie started.
"Wait!" Rainbow Dash called, dashing into the air. She was soon followed by Ardor and Scootaloo.
"D-Dad?" Scootaloo landed in front of him. He then pulled all of them into a hug.
"Daddy?" Ardor asked.
"Wow Dad, I didn't think..." Rainbow Dash trailed off.
"I love you three." Rainbow Strike said, tears ran from all their eyes.
"I've never called anypony Dad." Scootaloo choked.
"None of us have." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Daddy, I love you." Ardor said.
"I missed you."
"All right every pony!" a pink mare cheered, "I'm Pinkie Pie, and welcome to the meet up! Is your lost mother here? What about your cousin? And, if you're lucky, you'll find your sister!"
Those last words seemed odd to Scootaloo. She hovered above the crowd, but was still in sight of Pinkie Pie.
"Would any pony like to go first?" Pinkie asked. Before Scootaloo could speak, an "Ah would." came from the crowd. The mare that rescued Scootaloo and Apple Bloom from the farm came onto the stage.
"Alright! If any pony knows an Applejack Apple, come onto the stage." Pinkie said.
"Applejack!" Apple Bloom bounded onto the stage hugging her sister. "Applejack, Ah missed you. Don't ever do that again, please."
"Ah'm sorry Apple Bloom. Ah promise Ah will always come back. No matter how long it takes." Applejack hugged her sister. They trotted off the stage.
"Alright who wants to-" Pinkie started.
"Me!" Scootaloo raced to the stage.
"Alright, what's your name?" Pinkie asked.
"My name's Scootaloo Wing." Scootaloo said.
"Alright, any pony know a Scootaloo Wing? No? Sorry, kid." Pinkie looked at the foal, who sadly trotted off the stage. A lot of foals found their families, and Scootaloo watched in despair. She fell asleep.
"We're gonna have to sell Rainbow Dash." some pony said.
"But who's gonna show the twins how to handle our money?" another said, "We could end up bankrupt."
"Let 'em figure it out themselves."
Scootaloo woke up. Rainbow Dash? I have another sister? she thought, Rainbow Dash Wing, huh? Nice name. I'll have to remember that. There had been another raid on a house, meaning more ponies. And, meaning a better chance at finding her family. And for that, Scootaloo would do anything.
"Welcome back!" Pinkie said, "As always, we will start off with Scootaloo!" Scootaloo trotted onto the stage. As always, she was met with silence, and left.
"Alright. Here, we have Dizzy Twister, looking for her daughter, Fluttershy!" Pinkie announced. A khaki mare with a pink mane walked onto the stage. "Silly, Fluttershy." Pinkie said, "I know you're here." She then pulled the shy mare out of the crod and onto the stage.
"Mom?" Fluttershy asked, "I-is that you?"
"Fluttershy, dear, I'm so sorry." Dizzy Twister hugged her daughter, who hugged her back.
"I missed you, Mom. You were the best mom ever." Fluttersy sobbed.
"I'm sorry, Fluttershy." Dizzy sobbed as well, "I love you."
"I love you too, Mom." They trotted off the stage. Scootaloo cried, as always. She was destined to be alone.
"I will not let you hurt our daughters anymore!" a stallion yelled.
"You are going against the princess, fool!" a mare screamed.
"The princess is unholy. You know out true ruler is The Lost Princess of the Night!" the stallion threw a chair at the mare.
"I should have never married you!" the mare threw a glass shard at him, piercing his heart. He fell to the ground, looking at the two young foals. They looked at their father, shock in their eyes. They saw their father dying, and wailed.
"Shut up, you pesky foals!" their mother beat them, causing them to stop. "You two will never feel love, You will forever be hated. No pony will ever even like you."
"Shut up, Mother." Scootaloo said, "You know nothing. You don't make our future. We make it. I will not be alone."
