Celestia, Dash, Soarin and Spitfire.

Rainbow Dash flew laps around the Cloudasseum, determined to beat her siblings. Scootaloo was hot on her tail, as was Soarin. Scootaloo was on her custom Scooter, made of clouds to scoot on clouds, Soarin and Dash were flying.

"I'm beating you Dash!" Scootaloo cried from just ahead.

"Gah! I'm going to totally beat both of you FILLIES!" Soarin pounded his wings harder, whirring through the air like clockwork.

"Okay, SOARY, let's get personal!" Dash called, using his sex name as a weapon. Soarin's wings stood stiff as a board and he fell onto the clouds with a loud THUMP.

"Hahahaha! I guess it's between us then Sister from another Mother!" Scootaloo blared over the howling winds. The finish line just in sight. At the last second Rainbow Dash plummeted towards Scootaloo, forcing her to swerve into a pillar to avoid the deadly hooves of Dash.

"Oi, DASHERY!" Soarin called just as Dash destroyed the cloud floor. Her wings hardened to rock and she started gaining speed. As the Rainbow comet fell to the ground Soarin and Scootaloo flew after her, beating their wings as hard as possible.

"HEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEE!" Rainbow Dash called from below them, too far to reach.

"No!" Scootaloo cried as Soarin pulled her into a hover. They heard the crack of bones exploding with the force of impact. They heard the screams of ponies below in the carnage. They heard the tears of Pinkie Pie, Dash's lover, and the wails of a distressed AppleJack. But they were oblivious to all of this at the same time. Scootaloo's sobs flooded Soarin's coat and likewise with his tears. The duo glided softly down to Pinkie's side and looked at Rainbow Dash for the last time.

"OUT OF THE WAY!" A regal voice bellowed from behind them. Princess Celestia stood there, bold as brass.

"She's dead. No-pony can save her." Scootaloo sobbed, not letting go of Soarin's torso in which she had in a death hug to rival Pinkie.

"Soarin, Scootaloo, tell Rainbow Dash I loved her." The Princess smiled and lowered her horn to Rainbow Dash's forehead. The golden aura of magic flowed into Rainbow Dash and she started to show signs of life. First a twitch, then a moan.

"I... I'm... I'm her Grand Mother." Celestia fell to the floor as Rainbow Dash stood up.

"Dashie? I love you Dashie. Is this a dream?" Pinkie sobbed from her side.

"Look everypony! It's Princess Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy yelled, angry at the sudden silence. And indeed Rainbow was a Princess, her cyan horn glowed with a silvery magic as she picked up Celestia's frail body.

"My Grandmother shall be laid to rest in Canterlot, her hometown." Dash spoke with such authority that nopony questioned it. She hugged Pinkie and AJ then she walked towards Fluttershy.

"Flutters. I'm sorry but this is tough on me too." She said with a knowing smile as she hugged her best friend.
