Summer is here! All the little fillies and colts are out of school, and they're all running around, spending their summer with friends. Everypony, that is, except for Joystick. With all her friends gone on summer trips to different parts of Equestria, she sits at home, bored out of her mind. So, upon the recommendation of her brother, she sets off to find a job or hobby to occupy her mind.

Meanwhile, Ultra Combo Arcade is BOOMING with business, and Ultra finds himself in over his head when the most popular game in the arcade breaks down, he finds himself unable to fix it.
