Ow!

The doctor pulled the needle out, smiling. "You're lucky. You survived a car crash with a few cuts and bruises." She said, before walking away to check on Conner.

"You're one lucky bastard." I heard a voice say, and I turned to see someone I'd never forget.

"Bryce! I'll be damned!" I said, sitting up, only for pain to shoot up my arm.

"Take it easy. You may be lucky, but that doesn't mean you're invincible." He said, before smirking. "So, what brings you to our humble abode?"

"It's anything but humble. The word nomadic comes to mind." I said, before sitting up slowly.

Bryce nodded, agreeing happily.

"I was basically kidnapped for a few minutes, kidnappers got killed, got kidnapped again, and was brought here. So, what's new with you?" I said, chuckling sourly.

"Basically the same. Although, I learnt of how two armies shall battle in a whole new age, and you're somehow the key to stopping, or at least, winning the war." Bryce said, then he rolled his eyes. "You want me to tell you the prophecy, don't you?"

I nodded eagerly, smiling.

"Well", Bryce said, sitting down. He clapped his hands and rubbed them. "Where should I start? No...no...Certainly not...Ah, yes." Bryce then smiled, giving me a mad type of grin. "Our story takes place after the Spartans defeated the Persians..."

A warrior yelled a battle cry, before a golden armored warrior threw his spear, impaling the man, and four behind him. The golden warrior gave an animalistic roar, pulling out his short sword.

He stabbed a man infront of him, and hit his shield against another man, before slitting his throat and moving off.

He heard foot steps behind him, and looked to see his queen in armor. He kneeled, his battle scarred helmet lowering in a sign of respect.

"Rise, warrior. You need not to show such formalities here." She spoke with a tone full of wisdom.

The Spartan rose, shadows covering his face from his helmet, except two reptilian, dark green eyes, that were glowing slightly.

"Forgive me, my Queen. I have the blood of a warrior in me. Leonidas would tell us to show honor." The Spartan spoke with deep wisdom, but fierce stubbornness.

"All is forgiven. Tell me, why are you fighting alone?" The Queen said, smiling sweetly.

"My brothers are helping the wounded or taking on the last remaining Persians." The Spartan said, sheathing his sword and picking up a random spear. He raised his shield, blocking an arrow.

He looked to see a few archers taking aim. He gave a bow to the Queen, before charging, giving a battle cry. He raised his shield and spear, blocking a volley of arrows and impaling a man. He kicked the body off, only to see another spartan charging, only for an arrow to hit his "brother's" head. The Spartan was pushed back slightly by another volley of arrows. He stood up, seeing the archers fumbling with their arrows. He then used his spear to break the arrows on his shield in half before charging.

He gave another animalistic roar before jumping and landing on a man's head, crushing his neck and skull, making blood, brain, and bone flying all over him. He stood, seeing a few of the archers pull out knives, the rest were hesitant or praying for mercy. Unfortunately, the Spartan had none to give.

Rain hit the ground, dripping on the Spartan, and lightning lit the area, giving the Spartan an unholy appearance. One of the Persians charged, holding the knife above hit head. The Spartan struck, faster than a snake. The Persian looked back, only for the top half to fall to the ground, the legs still standing for a moment or two.

"May Hellas guide me." The Spargan muttered, seeing some Persians let loose a pile of stomach contents. He raised his shield and smirked, seeing them tense up.

"What are you waiting for?" A enemy asked, before smiling. "We outnumber him. We can kill him altogether. He needs to make the first-"

Suddenly, a spear impacted through the man's skull, causing him to fall to the ground, half of his skull torn away.

They all looked at the Spartan, to see he still had his spear.

The Spartan laughed, feeling a dozen footsteps behind him. The Persians gained a look of horror as the Warrior had four other Spartans behind him. One grabbed his short sword out, turning out that he was the one who threw the spear.

"I wasn't waiting to attack, I was waiting for a hornorable fight." The Spartan said, before turning away, as the four charged, war cries filling the air.

He then stood face to face with a creature not of his known world. Or, his "known" world.

"Interesting. You were bred to kill, yet you choose to fight. You think you have to follow mind, yet you follow your heart. You are a very strange one." the creature said, his large toe claws clicking against the bloody dirt.

"Not now." The Spartan muttered sourly.

"You never let me out anymore. Or even talk to me." The creature said, before the Spartan moved away. "Come back here."

The Spartan kept walking, before a strange sound filled the air. Suddenly, a boulder hit right next to him. The Spartan dodged another, looking back to see another Spartan get hit by a boulder covered by fire.

Dirt flew, hitting the Spartan, making him glare at the Persian soldiers rushing towards him.

" You need me."

"No, I don't."

"Dart! Watch out!"

The Spartan looked up to see a boulder. He dodged, only to come face to face with a cliff. He looked down to see the ocean crashing beneath him.

He looked up to see another boulder. He had no choice, and jumped-

"ALERT! ALERT! ENEMIES ATTACKING BASE! ALERT! ALL FIRE TEAMS REPORT TO THE HANGER!"

"That's my song." Bryce muttered. He walked away, only to look at me.

"I'll tell you the legend next chance I get."

I got up, and cracked my knuckles. "Don't even think about leaving me here."

Bryce gave me a toothy grin, and handed me some clothes and armor. I looked through it.

After putting it on, I looked at Bryce.

"I need a weapon."
