This story is based 22 years after the events of season 3, ponies have moved on with their lives, Rainbow Dash is the Sky Marshal of the Wonderbolts, Applejack has handed the reigns to the family farm to Applebloom to move in with Rainbow Dash in Canterlot. The Cakes have retired and Pinkie owns Sugar Cube Corner with the Cake twins. Fluttershy is is still in her Cottage... hm... what is she up to. Twilight and an old teacher of hers travel to the Equestrian Badlands to find the only known first hand account of what happened between Princess Luna and her sister over one thousand years ago. What they find will change the lives of Twilight and all of Equestria. And rising tensions between Equestria and one of their neighboring countries come to a boiling point. All that stands between a non-violent resolution and total war is a bitter aging veteran and an aspiring young officer.

UPDATE!: I'm placing this on a temporary hiatus, I need to figure out a clear direction on where I want to go with this story as well as hone my own lore and head cannon regarding the lovely pastel ponies. I promise this won't be the last you hear of me. I want this story to be good and I am going to put my whole damn heart into it!
