White Blossom
Prologue: To Unknowingly Betray
Load Full Story"Welcome to Sugar Cube Corner! Hi, Scootaloo!"
"Hi, Pinkie Pie." Scootaloo says as she walks through the door. She closes it quickly, as snow covered the streets of Ponyville and she doesn't want to cause a mess. She looks at the various treats and pastries, pondering what to choose. There will be no second chances for this, it has to be perfect.
"Those flowers are gonna wilt if you leave them in the cold. You should bring your wagon inside."
"What are you talk... The flowers!" She runs outside of Sugar Cube Corner and pulls in a red wagon, on top of which lies a bouquet of white flowers, covered in snow. She anxiously takes the bouquet and carefully removes the snow off the flowers. Short on breath, she resumes on pondering what to buy.
"So... Who's the lucky colt you're giving those to?" Pinkie asks.
"They're not for a colt, they're for Swee... f-for a filly!" She spots a tray of rainbow colored cupcakes, and carefully picks up two of them. She puts them on the counter.
"Hey, Pinkie, do you still have cocoa?"
"Yep!"
"Can you bring me two, please?"
"Is that to go?"
"Yeah."
As the pink baker goes to the back of the shop, Scootaloo stops to think.
Nothing can go wrong with this. But, what if she says no? I mean, we just can't go back to being friends, not with that knowledge. But, what if she says yes? Then what? Are we gonna hide it, or are we just going to tell everypony about it? How will Apple Bloom feel? Do ponies even think about this stuff before they do it? I'm so nervous! Why can't this be easy?!
"Are you okay? What are you looking at?"
Scootaloo closes her eyes for a second before opening them again. How long had she been like that?
"Yeah, I'm fine. How much is it?"
"Six bits."
Scootaloo pays for the cupcakes and the cocoa, and puts them in her wagon, then walks out of Sugar Cube Corner, pulling the wagon near her scooter. She hooks the wagon to the scooter and climbs on top of it, then, flapping her wings to add to her momentum, she makes her way to Carousel Boutique.
As she sees the orange filly disappear in the horizon, Pinkie think to herself: Those were the zap apple cupcakes, right?
"I'm terribly sorry, darling, but Sweetie Belle's not here. If I recall correctly, she's at Fluttershy's home."
"Really?"
"Yes. She's giving her singing classes."
"Sweetie Belle's still taking classes? She's the best singer I've heard. She got her Cutie Mark in singing during the talent show. Why is she still taking classes?"
"To tell you the truth, darling, I'm not sure. I hear her sing, and it's as if angels fell to earth, but she says she still needs to perfect something. I feel tempted to just go there and see what troubles her, but I fear to upset Fluttershy. I'm surprised she's managed to keep in check her fear of singing in front of other ponies and teach her."
"...Well, uhm... Thanks, Miss Rarity... I'll be going."
Panting, Scootaloo climbs down off her scooter. Racing all the way from Rarity's home, through half of Ponyville, and to Fluttershy's house was tiring. She unlocks the wagon off the scooter, and opens the box that held the multicolored pastries she had bought. She checks if the cups of cocoa are still warm, which they were, and holds the bouquet in her mouth. She stands in front of the door.
This is it, Scootaloo! No backing out now... Why am I not knocking... Now!... Now!
Her hoof hits the wood six times, but Scootaloo hears no answer. She waits for a few seconds, then knocks again six times. There is no answer. She lightly pushes the door, and it opens. Puzzled as why would Fluttershy leave her door open, she drags her wagon inside the house. She sees a table and puts over it the sweets and the flowers.
Now that I think about it, why don't I hear singing? I mean, Sweetie Belle's taking singing lessons, isn't she? What's going on? And what's that smell?
She didn't notice at first, but an odd aroma floats in the air, sweet and musky at the same time. Trying to find the source of the smell, Scootaloo finds it coming from the door to Fluttershy's bedroom. She hears a small moan. Puzzled, she pushes the door ajar. Her mouth hangs open as her mind tries to process the image in front of her. On the floor lies Fluttershy, lying on her back with her legs spread open, her eyes closed in pure bliss as she moaned and panted softly, as if she was making an effort to be as quiet as she could. Sweetie Belle is lying in the floor too, but she lies on her belly, facing Fluttershy from below, her face sunk between Fluttershy's legs, her tail lifted and displaying to the frame of the door her marehood overflowing with her juices, which had accumulated into a small puddle behind her.
...They ...They're having sex! But why?! Why is this happening?! What the hell is going on?! ...How could she ever do this to me?
Scootaloo feels a tear run down her cheek, but she holds back the sobs. She briefly thinks of just slamming the doors and interrupting the couple, but she stops herself.
I can't just barge in and ruin everything... can I? What kind of friend would I be, just thinking about myself like that?
But, what they're doing is wrong! One can't just fuck some mare double one’s own age, not when you're this young!
...I don't know the whole story. I'll just-
"...Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo's thought's are interrupted when she hears Fluttershy moan her friend's name, punctuated by the strong smell of musk coming from inside the room. She looks through the door again, and sees Fluttershy, her back arched as she comes. For a brief second nothing happens, but then a turquoise pair of irises peek from behind their yellow curtains and widen in shock. Scootaloo focuses on those eyes, and all the guilt she feels about her thoughts of destroying what the ponies in front of her evaporates, to be replaced by anger.
Scootaloo gives a step forward, and as she hears the sounds of crushed roses below her hooves, she charges through the door and into the room.
