//-------------------------------------------------------// Big Mac's Big Mac (See what I did there?) -by ImDaBronyBomb- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Adventure //-------------------------------------------------------// The Adventure It was a hot, sunny afternoon at Sweet Apple Acres. This summer had been especially hot for Equestria, some say that this is a sign that Princess Celestia is happy, which is not surprising because she has her sister back with after such a long distance from each other. This also meant that this Apple Bucking season had been quite abundant and, while that does mean more buisness for the Apple family, it also meant more work in the hot, hot sun. At least it was time for lunch! Big Mac opened the picnic basket slowly, always admiring his sister's handiwork at making new apple delights each week. "So are ya gonna eat th' darn lunch or not, Macintosh?" Applejack blurted, impatient for her brother's opinion of her latest treat. Big Mac had just taken the Gala Fritter with Crab Apple Frosting out (I secretely dare somepony to make this. Pics or it didn't happen!!) and began to bring the creation to his mouth when a oddly-quiet explosion came out of nowhere and started pulling him in from behind. It was a tiny black hole. Great. What are the odds of that? And why did it happen right before lunch? He had really been looking forward to that fritter but all thoughts of lunch vanished as he tried to get a solid hoof-grip in the grass. He knew he could only hold on for a minute or two. "AJ! The lasso!" he called out to his sister, looking for a way to save them both. Maybe if they could just tie themselves to one of the apple trees, they might just stand a chance. How long could a black hole last anyway? "Ah already got it, Mac!" Applejack returned, already in full motion to help her struggling brother. Applejack was able to grab Macintosh's harness but the hole was too strong even with their combined efforts. Everything went surprisingly silent and the two ponies were both sucked in and they both lost consciousness... When they finally woke up, they were on a otherworldy plane with nothing but grass for miles in what seemed to be a spacial atmosphere around them, stars being in clear view for lightyears. It seemed like they were in a different dimension or planet. They could hear spacious moans traveling through the air in quiet, ambient waves of sound. When they got back on their hooves they started to look for anything that wasn't "normal" in the case of being anything but grass. Far off in the horizon the could see a building of an odd shape. Once they finally got all of their senses back, Applejack spoke. "Where in all tarnation are we?" Applejack pondered. She had never seen anyplace quite like it, So she really didn't know what to think of the place. "Ah don't know sis, but it sure is strange" Macintosh answered, also being dumbfounded by their transpotation. They started walking to the only interesting thing they could see, and when they finally hoofed their way over, they were quite confused. "Mc..Donalds?" Applejack slowly read due to her bad literacy. Big Macintosh also didn't what to think of it, but there were some young ponies with worker shirts on at the resturant's counter. "It looks like it's a resturant of some sort , a very oddly placed random resturant. Heh...remind you of somepony?" AJ Joked. They gave a mixed chuckle to each other, and decided to proceeded into the fast food place, hopefully finding answers, or a gosh lunch they missed! "Welcome to McDonald's! Please order whenever!" The pony at the counter cheerily said with a slight brake in his voice, as if nothing was completely nuts about the whole scenario unfolding, all the ponies seem to have no clue or even care about the surroundings at all. "Ummm...Ah guess we should..get something?" Applejack, still aw-struck, spoke to her brother, still hungry as ever. "Eeyup." Big Mac replied, feeling the same grumble as his sister, but then looked suprised while looking at the list of foods they served. "What's wrong, Mac? Somethi- oh, my" Applejack matched Big Mac's view with her own, seeing his reason for fright. "Maybe it's a typo? Or maybe the apple? No, it looks like something brown in the middle, and it looks kinda like a daffodil sandwich. Hmm.. might as well see what it is, right?" Applejack added from analyzing the picture, curious to taste whatever kind of delicious thing it was. "Eeyup" . "We'll take two." AJ said to the pony in front of her, pulling out some spare bits. "That'll be three bits." He replied, in reaction to what Applejack held in her hoofs. After the burgers were made after an awkward wait, the two siblings sat at a nearby table and both slowly gazed, and then anxiously took a bite of their Big Macs, and were shocked at it's taste. "Wow! This is tastier than one big ripe apple on a hot day on the orchard! Ooh wee!" Applejack exclaimed. "Eeyup!" Macintosh replied. "Sure is! Made out of natural beef! It's good right?" The orderer added, happy to see a satisfied customer. They both stopped in complete terror. "Did you say...Beef? Like cows?" Applejack said, puzzled and frightened. "Sure did! Ya like it?" He asked. They were at a loss of words. "......wow......" Applejack barely got the word out. "Who knew....they were so..." She stuttered, knowing she just ate one of her biggest group of animals and friends she knew. "We ain't going to speak of this, right?" . "Eeyup" . THE END Author's Note I did this story because I was bored and, well, I had no stories :( . Anyways hope you get a laugh or two out of it, and feel free to give reasonable criticism! Also pardon me for any mistakes or grammar errors :P , I did it in about three days... This is also my first attempt at making a fimfiction, even a fan fiction at that. Heck this is my first story over 500 words that wasn't for school! But after seeing all these great stories (And using their examples) I decided to give it a go... but I didn't have a clue what to write about (Talk about thinking ahead, right?). Fortunately my Mom (A Semi-Pegasister, I'll convince her eventually ;) has a strange obsession with Macintosh? but she gave me a idea, nontheless. Here is the mostly finished product!
