The Second Chance

-Chapter 2: Im not a human?!

"Hey! Wake up!"

"......"

"If you don't wake up, you're asking me to kick your butt!"

"5, 4, 3, 2-"

".........The hell am I-AHH"

         Thomas had finally awoken. He winced as he felt someone kicked him in the stomach. And the answer to the pain was....a rainbow-haired pony with wings?!

"C-calm down! Let's j-just relax", stuttered Tom, "W-who are you? W-where am-"

         Before Tom could finish, he noticed something: HE HAD NO HANDS. To make it even worse, he had no feet too. And he felt like he was floating above the ground. Regretfully, Tom looked down at the ground. He was standing on a cloud.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE MY HANDS?!?!" he screamed, "AND WHY AM I FLOATING?!"

"What are hands? Who are you?! And why are you in my house?", the pony asked.

'Alright, just calm down', thought Tom, 'Maybe this is a REALLY bad fever dream. Maybe if I go along with it, I might be able to wake up sooner. But then again, a kick like that to my stomach is no dream'

"Listen", said Tom, "I don't mean to intrude. In fact, I don't even know where I am, so let's start over".

"So, what's your name? Mine is Tom", he said, "And where am I? And what are you?!"

"My name is Rainbow Dash!", exclaimed the pony, "The fastest pegasus in all of Equestria!"

"Oh, you mean like in Greek myths?", asked Tom.

"What's Greek?", asked Rainbow Dash

" Well, I'll explain soon, but what is Equestria?", Tom asked

"Its a land ruled by our princess, Celestia" Rainbow Dash explained, "I'll show you around this land."

'Maybe', thought Tom. 'This is god's way of giving me a new social life-no-life entirely! Maybe I'm better accepting my new life, living in a world of ponies!'

         As Rainbow Dash flew down from her cloud house, she disappeared from sight. Tom, uncomfortable for being alone in a new world, tried to find her without falling off the cloud. With this obstacle, Tom was also not accustomed to walking on all fours, resulting in him constantly falling down.

"Five minutes into my new life and I can't even keep up with the others of my race", said Tom

Another odd thing he noticed, was that he felt as if he had something on his sides, when he tried to adjust his new body, he felt something opening on him: Wings!  Now he felt like he could catch up to rainbow dash. With little experience he had controlling these new found wings, Tom tried to fly, and was about to fall to his doom.

" R-rainbow dash! H-help me!", Tom cried. But no one came.

'I guess this new life is over for me', Tom thought. He was about to embrace his fate, just as rainbow dash swooped him up.

"Jeez, a Pegasus who can't fly", Rainbow said, upset, " What a cruel world for you"

With anger, Tom exclaimed: " Hey! Shut up!"

" I guess you don't need my help then....."

" Ok, I'm sorry! D-don't let go"

As they landed in a middle of a town, Tom noticed something: All the inhabitants were ponies.

" What's this place called?", Tom asked.

"Ponyville", replied Rainbow Dash.

"Original....", muttered Tom, "This feels more like a trip than a fever dream...."

"What did I here you say?!", said a defensive Rainbow Dash.

" Nothing, nothing!", said a coward Tom. He didn't want to lose the only acquaintance he had, so he thought of something fast.

"Have I ever told your eyes match your hair, beautifully might I mention?"

With this said, Rainbow Dash' cheeks turned red. Rainbow Dash smiled with that thought in mind.

"Really? Y-you think so?", opened up Rainbow, " Because you're not too bad looking yours-"

Rainbow shook her head, realizing she had been smooth talked.

"Look, please stop trying to hit on me, I don't think you're in my league..."

With that said, Rainbow showed Tom around.

                                              *Meanwhile*

"So, did he come here safely?"

"Yes, he had woken up in the house of the loyal one".

"Good, now check on him to make sure he is not of full potential".

"Yes master".
