The sound echoed throught the quiet room.I sat,right next to her,waiting for the moment when she wakes.Its been a month,she still hasn't woken from her deep sleep..
Im scared...I don't want to lose her...She was a sister to me...The only sister I have...
I didn't mean to cause such a terrible thing to happen...My stupid mistake of mine...has caused this...
"Rainbow...I-Im sorry..."I whimpered as I sat my bandaged hoof onto her cold chest,her heartbeat was slow...mostly struggling."Y-You didn't have to save me...I would have been ok..."
The beeping continued,slowing down for a moment.My ears perked up as I looked at the machine.Nervous.Scared.Speechless.I sniffled,looking back at my dear friend,she wasn't moving much,her eyes closed,she laid there,silently...
"Don't worry squirt,I'll be fine."She would have told me.I shook my head,trying to hold in my tears that wanted to pour.I had to be strong,have faith and just wait...
"It's ok...she'll wake up soon...Just stay strong.."Twilight and her friends would tell me,coming to the room constantly to confort me...trying to cheer me up...They didn't want me to feel that I caused such a thing...such a terrible thing...
"Rainbow...if you can hear me...I-Im really sorry...I'm serious...You didn't have to save me...I did a stupid thing...I should have dealt with the consequences..."I mumbled,a tear trickled down my face as I slumpped down,whimpering."I jumped off that cliff...thinking I would fly...You didn't have to save me!"I began trembling,more tears came.
"N-now...your just..a broken pegasus...struggling to keep hold onto life...in a coma you can't exit...an endless one.."I glanced down at the ground,tears fell agaisnt the crystal tiles,one by one.
The beeping suddenly,sped up...
I looked at my friend,her eyes were open...but not in a good way...
She was gasping for air frantically,the doctors ran into the room quickly.
I stood there....She was awake...but she could leave me again...
"R-rainbow?!"I cried,bursting into tear.I couldn't hold it in any longer."P-please stay awake!!I-I can't lose you again!!"I began sobbing,the doctors glanced at me with sad looks,they were doing there best to keep her in this world...
"Scoots....I-its ok..just..live on with your life..i-i'll be watching...over you.."I heard a sharp but weak gasp,she talked...
I blinked,trembling,hardly able to stand up."...but..."
I was cut off by a loud beep,that sounded endless.The doctors stopped,stood there,they knew it was going to happen..
I stopped my tears for a moment."R-rainbow..?"I sniffled.
It was the end...she was gone...
I couldn't take it,I broke down,wailing."R-RainbowDash...IM SORRY!!"I cried,I fell to the ground and cried,just cried.The doctor looked at me sadly."W-well call her friends...and tell the news...okay..?"Nurse Roseheart told me quietly.I didn't reply,I couldn't.
All I knew...is that RainbowDash...is gone...
But....she did say...she would watch over me...
M-maybe...one day...we will be able to see eachother...once again..
