Celestia just wanted to know what the book she had found forgotten in the archives was about. Unfortunately, and not only for her, the pages set off unintended doom for three young residents of her faithful student's hamlet.

Now trapped in the ragged remains of a destroyed world overrun by the most devastating plague known to mankind, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo will have to survive... and apparently the only way to do it is to count on four creatures they've never seen anything similar to before, who are barely holding up without three helpless hitchhikers along for the ride.
