Chapters Prologue: A Time to Remember
Present Day
'Luna, are you sure you want to remember this?' Celestia's favourite student asked.
'Like all the other times that you've asked, yes. I need to remember this-'
'Lu-Lu, do remember that we have access to ALL your memories...' Celestia regally walked through the door into Luna's bedroom.
'Yes, Celly, but trust me, there weren't ANY other ponies on the moon. Not that I noticed anypony else there...'
'I hate to tell you this, but you may be woken up in a few days, it depends how long it takes to find all your memories of the moon. Twilight will explain more. I'm sorry, but there's an mob of angry ponies out there trying to dob on each other. Stupid aristocrats.'
'Goodbye, Celly.' Luna replied with a sad smile as she hugged her sister.
'Goodbye, Lu-Lu.' Celestia softly and sadly replied as she walked out the door.
'You were saying, Luna?' Twilight prompted.
'Yes, I was saying something. What was it?'
Twilight's hoof met her face, saying a quick hello. 'Oh well, let's just get on with this then.'
Luna was encased in a violet aura that she recognised as Twilight's magic, before she entered the dark void of unconsciousness.
1000 Years Before
I’m out, looking at the moon slowly rise through the sky. Aargh, everypony is ignoring me! Why? I provide a beautiful night. I do my job. No-one realises how beautiful it is because THEY’RE ALL SLEEPING. Why am I the only night pony?
I can help you there, Luna.
What? Who’s that?

I can feel her evilness starting to seep through my body, and it starts controlling my mouth.
‘Celly, no-pony likes my night. I need them to see me beautiful night, and acknowledge me fully,’

‘Not until everypony sees the night,’ I can feel Nightmare Moon taking over the rest of me, like a plague through my body.
‘Luna, you leave me no choice.’
*RAWRWARWRWRWR TRANSFORMATION OF DRAMATICNESS INTO NIGHTMARE MOON*
‘I AM NIGHTMARE MOON, MISTRESS OF THE NIGHT-’

Oh no. Oh no. I’m stuck in the background. Oh no oh no oh no. But..... I have one more trick up my sleeve... Heh.
‘-AND EQUESTRIA SHALL FOREVER SEE THE BEAUTY OF THE NIGHT!’
The final barrier in my mind shattered underneath Nightmare Moon's magical strength. So much for a trick up my sleeve. I could have fought her, but Celestia was trying to attack me as well with the Elements of Harmony. I was sucked into the realm of the moon, with Nightmare Moon, hearing her cries of despair. I laughed at her misery of not taking over Equestria.

Chapter 1: Day 1 - Year 20: Early Years
Day 1
WHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? Why did my sister send me to the moon? Hmm. I did try to take over Equestria, but I didn't do anything! Well, I guess I let Nightmare Moon try to take over the world, but I had no part in what SHE was doing. Like, would you blame someone for something that an evil part of their mind did? Gosh, some people nowadays. Does Celestia even know how it feels to be... *sniff sniff* …..FOREVER ALONE?
Blather blather blather blather blath- ZzzZzzZzzz.
Day 2
You know, there is no difference between day and night in space. My friend here, Space Core taught me that. Or he at least pointed it out to me. His ‘friend’ Wheatley came along too, but he's a total moron. Space core at least says funny stuff:

Day 3
Spaaace. Aaaarrrfggggggg hehhehehehheehhwhehehehheheh spa-heheheheeh *cough cough* Space core is so funny!! Oh sweet Celestia (why am I saying that??) he's going to get annoying. Anyways, life on the moon is boring, so I won't record anything unless it's really important.
Day 18
Space core found a telescope. He let Nightmare Moon take a look through it, but nothings really changed. I mean, it’s only been eighteen days. Oh well.
Day 75
I can't keep this up much longer. Space core is really annoying me. I think I'm starting to go insane. So much space. I wonder how Celly's going. Not really, because it would just be ruling the beautiful land we know as Equestria. I think I can almost see it from here, but Nightmare Moon's eyes are confusing to me, I can only see a little bit past her big eyes. Well, that was my interesting thing for a while.
Day 195
I tried to overthrow my mind again today, but I'm still too weak to gain control. So, due to my failure, I'm going to invent a new section of my diary: Really really bad jokes section! Oh Celestia, this is going to be horrible. Lucky nopony’s EVER going to read this.

Double Decadely updates from now on. CBS.
Space core has gone now... Wanted to explore space or something. He might of said that a million times already, I don't know. At least Space Core left me a present. The telescope. But he left about fifteen years ago. Moron Core (Wheatley) left about five years ago, looking all around the moon for a por.. port... portal thing. Said something about it taking him back to earth.
Anyway, I had a look through the telescope yesterday. Other cities (in Equestria) are popping up all over the place. Equestria’s going to be so different when I get home. Hopefully Discord hasn’t permanently made cotton candy clouds that rain chocolate milk. I never liked cotton candy.

Chapter 2: Year 40 - Year 100: Tantrums
Year 40
Wheatley came back. URRGH. But at least I’m not FOREVER ALONE anymore. Oh yeah, today he was saying something about some “Human” called Chell. Anyway, to the conversation.
“Searching ‘round the ENTIRE moon took twenty-five years! Can you believe it? Twenty-five years. Anyway, I found a portal. Chell wasn’t there, and GLaDos said that I could go back! Isn’t that just weird? Anyway, I was only coming back to say goodbye. So, here we are. Goodbye.’
‘Uhummm, Goodbye?’ I wanted to squash him until he could fit in my hooves. I hate him, he’s so annoying. At least Space Core was actually funny and cute.
Wheatley was floating away. The moon makes you feel.... lighter.... and floaty..
Oh Celestia, why did you do this to me?
FOREVERRRRR alone.
Year 60
Hey, Luna. I know you’re angry with me, but you don’t know how sad I’ve been all these years you’ve been gone. I am so happy now that you’re back!! Let’s get everything back to normal, and we can rule together. I still love you, Luna.
I really wish Celly will say that once I get home. I really do. But I do what I can do to pass the time.
I’m looking through the telescope about every five years or so, and Equestria’s changing so much. When I left it was a castle in the middle of a forest that had heaps of monsters all through it. Now, there’s a castle on the side of a mountain, and a few towns dotted around the place.
Oh yeah, about ten years ago there was this thing, made out of ice, that sped around the sun and it half melted, so it looked like a falling star. I wished that I could go home.Le Sigh.
Year 80
Nothing really important happened in the last twenty years, EXCEPT THAT I GAINED CONTROL OF MY EYES! Yes, it’s official, I can finally see properly!! Hopefully, soon, I will be able to gain control of my legs. Then I shall dance to the tune of Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows! Well, I’m a terrible dancer, lets see how that goes for me. Actually, now that I think about it, ponies in general are terrible dancers, as we have four legs and hooves, we can’t stand on our hind legs and so that impairs our ability to dance. Although, it would intrigue me to see a pony with a dancing cutie mark...
Anyway, the other news for the last twenty years...
Equestria now has three big cities, and two small towns. Things are so different now. I can’t even see the old castle now, it’s too overgrown. It makes me angry at Celestia, because she left our castle. We loved that castle. Why did she leave? Was it because.... She... She... Doesn’t..... Love me anymore? But........ she’s my sister, she still HAS to love me. Maybe she’s over me. Maybe she’s going to leave me here forever. Maybe she wants be back, maybe she hates me. You hate me, don’t you Celly. That’s why you haven’t brought me back. That’s why you banished me here. Maybe she wants Equestria all for herself.

One hundred years of the way through this awful punishment. Celly, take me home. Its so terribly boring up here. It’s cold, and lonely and I can watch Equestria thrive. BUT I’M NOT THERE! Celly, *sniff* you don’t know how *sniff* lonely I am. No*sniff*pony to talk to, nothing *sniff* to do.

Chapter 3: Year 120 - 200: Wishes

Year 120
News for the last two decades....... Hmmmm...... Nothing much. Oh yeah, Equestria’s changed heaps, blah blah blah, still stuck up here, so incredibly boring.... It’s so boring I can feel it oozing out of my pores. Speaking of body parts, I can control my tail. Kind of, but oh well.
It’s so boring that watching paint dry would probably be funner. Especially because I’m stuck in my own mind, with the evil part of my mind ruling my body. Arrrrrrghhhhh, why is my life so boring?
But, I had some ideas to get back to Equestria, but I need to control more of my body for them to follow through. I suppose I can just come back to this later, when I can control more of my body parts. But for now, I will record them here. Well, here goes.
Plan #1
Jump off the side of the moon, hopefully land on Equestria.
Plan #2
Fly as fast as I can up and out of the “sky” of the moon (If it can even be called a sky, considering it’s the moon), heading through space and towards Equestria. (If plan #1 doesn’t work)
Plan #3
Step 1. Go around the moon, collecting decent sized rocks that hold my weight. (Should take about twenty or so years)
Step 2. Grind down the stones so they would stack nicely. (About twenty years)
Step 3. Create a staircase to Equestria. (Depends whether I will fall onto Equestria after a while)
It’s really sad how I can’t actually do any of this. I might get around to it, if I ever regain control of my body. I wish on a comet that I could be home, ruling with my sister, Nightmare Moon never there. I wish, but it will probably never be true. I wish.
Year 140
The years are starting to fly by, due to their monotonous days. Speaking of flying, I can control the tips of my wings again. I hope I can control them soon, it would be a delight to see Nightmare Moon’s face when she gets lifted into the “sky”. Not that I would be able to see...
Nightmare Moon is spending her days lifting up rocks with her magic, and such things. She had a peek through my diary about seven years ago, and she stopped at my plans of getting off the moon. She also tried my plans, not that they did her any good in ways of getting off the moon. In the end she was stopped by a barrier in the “sky”, probably created by the Elements of Harmony to keep me on the moon.
The last time Nightmare Moon looked through the telescope was about four years ago, and the drastic changes! Not really, actually. It looks pretty much the same.
The telescope proved helpful in finding some new constellations as well, and I have made some mental star maps hidden in my mind. The code to get to it is: arrghihatebeingbanished

Year 160
Hmmmmmmmm. I’m wondering how an evil part of somepony’s mind can create a new set of eyes. I’m wondering how a separate part of somepny’s mind can even take over their mind. I’m wondering how this all happened. I’m wishing I could take it all back, go back and erase those feelings. I wish I could. I wish this had never happened.
Oh yeah, I regained control of more of my wings! With my estimates, I should be in full control of my wings in about forty years! Only forty more years to go then........
Last year, a cold and fast wind blew on the moon. Can you believe it? An actual wind on the moon. Oh no, now I’m sounding like Wheatley. Speaking of him, I’d love to have some company right now. Oh, how I wish I could.
About sixteen years ago there was another comet. I named it ‘Nightmare’s Comet’ because, you guessed it (lol not really) , Nightmare Moon. There’s a constellation that I named, but it’s a secret! You got to get into my star maps first!
Dwelling on my mind earlier was the fact that ponies will probably hate me when I get home. I don’t blame them. Turning evil, trying to take over Equestria, trying to hold eternal night and being banished by my own sister to the moon? I think that I’ll be run down by angry mobs, and such things. I just hope that Celly will forgive me, and let me live with her in the new castle, and let me raise the moon each night.
Year 180
I don’t like being trapped on the moon. I love the moon and all, but being trapped here is horrible! If I can do it, I’m banning all banishment's to the moon. Then ponies might be able live their lives without fear. Then they’ll love me! They’ll love me for being so nice to them and not allowing them to get banished to the moon! Then everything can go back to normal.
Normal. I wonder, what is normal? Is it being stuck on the moon? Is it at home, with Celly? Is it in the new castle with Celly and all the ponies fawning at us? What is normal now? I wish I had the answers to these questions, but they will be answered in time.
Year 200
*party noise* About Two Hundred Years, not sure what day it is today. Hooray. No cake though, because, the cake is a lie. According to Wheatley.. Oh well. Two centuries stuck up here on the moon. Yay. I wish Celly was here. Actually, I’d rather be down in Equestria with Celly, celebrating my return.
Nightmare Moon looked through the telescope earlier. Maybe yesterday. But Equestria now has changed, so much. I remember it when it was just the Everfree Forest, and Sunny Town. But now, now it’s a castle on the side of a mountain, three big cities and two small towns.
The stars looked so pretty today/tonight. I swear they were brighter, just to celebrate two hundred years of me being on the moon. I remember, a century ago, I was begging Celly to take me home. Now I realise that those efforts are futile. I will just end up raging at myself for letting Nightmare Moon take over..
I regained control of my wings! I started to fly around, much to my delight and Nightmare Moon’s outrage. Ah, if I saw her face I would have laughed harder than I was already laughing. I hadn’t laughed like that for more than two hundred years! Ah, It was good. Best part of being on the moon, so far.
Meanwhile...
Celestia’s study was silent. You could drop a pin and nopony would notice. Celestia’s bowed head, hunched over paperwork was hung in a sad way. A tear dripped off her young-looking face and plopped onto the paper.
‘Lu-Lu, I love you. I never wanted to banish you.’ In a hoarse whisper, Celestia cried.

Chapter 4: Year 220 - 300: Apologies
Year 220, Luna
Flying around sure is better than sitting down. I’m surprised that Nightmare Moon didn’t do it earlier! There she was, being all sad and mopey, then now here I am, flying around! It doesn’t really help, but at least I’m actually doing something! Other than nothing. I guess.
Nightmare Moon is trying to take over my wings again, but I’m resisting it. I don’t think I’ll be able to control many more of my limbs without a fight from her.
Maybe I should start writing a story. I don’t know. If I do, I’ll have to get Celly to look at it before ANYPONY else looks at it. It might be in a genre nopony knows because it’s been ignored, or maybe even a different language! Come to think about it though, a story would really take the time away from me. And I have to update all the star maps! So much work, but I don't know how much time I have to do it.
Speaking of the star maps, Nightmare Moon lost the telescope Space Core gave me. I wish I could see him again. He was good company. *sniffles* I wish I had any company right now. Even if it was the most annoying pony in Equestria. I still wish somepony were here.
Year 240
To pass the time, I’ve been trying to use my wings a lot more and invent some new tricks. It didn’t quite work out for me. I’ve never been much of a stunt pony, since I am a princess. But am I still a princess? Has Celly disowned me? I really hope Celly hasn't disowned me. I am the pony to raise the moon each night. But if I am disowned, I can do all sorts of things that I wouldn't normally be able to do as a princess. I could... I don't know what I'd do. My special talent IS raising the moon.
I wonder how Celly can manage to raise the sun and the moon. Raising the moon would be harder for her, as raising the sun would be to me. When Celly lets me come back home, I'll have to try, to see how hard it was for her. While I do that she can take a vacation, since it would be a lot of hard work. She'll deserve it. That is, if I ever go home. If Celly lets me home.
I am always assuming that Celly will let me come home. I do hope that I'm not stuck up here forever. At least I'm able to fly, more carefree than in Equestria, as Celly and I were too preoccupied being princesses. How I wish that we were normal ponies now. We would be so carefree. But I wouldn’t be alive right now. While I’ve been trapped up here, on the moon, thousands of ponies have lived their lives, and are living their lives. Hooray for living. On the moon.
I have a lot of nostalgia for when I was talking to Wheatley. I know he was a total moron, but still. Better than aimlessly doing nothing all year.
Year 260
Remember when I said I had nostalgia? I couldn’t stop thinking about the conversations I had with Wheatley and Space Core. I do wonder what they are doing right now... Whether Space Core will ever fulfill his dream. Whether Wheatley will go back to this 'GLaDos' thing. And Chell. I don't know what either of them are but I hope Wheatley fulfills his dream. Whatever that may be.
Flying hasn’t proved very useful in driving away my boredom. All it does is postpone it. I don’t know how long I’ll be up here, but I sure won’t be able to fly it all away. I might become anorexic if I fly too much more, there isn’t much to eat up here. The best stuff I found was some weird mushroom things. I have to fly all over the moon to find them. I don’t get very hungry anymore.
Nightmare Moon found the telescope. I was so anxious to see what had happened to Equestria in the last forty or so years. There’s a number of small towns now, but only a few bigger cities. The castle on the mountain had developed into a bustling capital. I was saddened by the fact that I would miss out on the developing of Equestria for a long time. Why doesn’t Celly let me come home?
Year 280
I’ve spent so much time up here. Does Celly think I need to learn a lesson? Because I have. I’ve learnt that you shouldn’t give into jealously and try to get something for yourself. That you should always be loving and caring. I’ve learnt my lesson Celly. Just take me home. I might make you proud. I’m very good at flying now. I am probably the fastest flyer in Equestria now. I’ll make you proud Celly! I promise. Just bring me home.
I really am sorry, Celly. I miss you so so so much. You wouldn’t know how sorry I am. You don’t know how much I love you. Will you ever forgive me for what I’ve done? I really am sorry. I’m bawling my eyes out for you. I’m so confused. Help me, Celly. Take me home! I need to come home! I need to...... I need..... I........

Year 300
Hooray. Somepony get the party started. Nearly, if not exactly, three hundred years on my beloved moon. Though, I kinda hate it right now. Only because Celly trapped me up here. Celly, if you ever see this and I haven’t already told you because I’m in a coma, I am truly sorry for what I’ve done. I just wanted ponies to love me like they loved you. I was so thick at the time that I didn’t see. They did love me. And now they don’t. Now it will be better off for me to stay up here. For ponies to live in peace. Without me. Don’t bring me home Celly. Equestria’s better off without me. Without Nightmare Moon.

I miss you with all my heart. I wish that you were here. I wish I could get this letter to you. Today, a pony came in with some star maps, and I could hardly keep myself from bawling. I would and will do anything to get you back here. Ruling, side by side. As sisters. I just hope that together we can defeat Nightmare Moon.
If this letter gets to you, Luna, then with it will be something to pass the time. I am working on a spell that will break the spell that keeps you on the moon. Then, we together will rule as sisters once more. How about next Tuesday? I know it’s hard to keep track of time on the moon, but it’s Friday here. I will try to send a scroll with it, which has instructions to see what day it is in Equestria. I made up the spell myself, with you in mind.
Every day, I think about you. I can’t stop it. I can’t believe that you’re really gone, even after three hundred years. I’m expecting you to round a corner and bump into me. I really don’t know how I can cope with this much longer.
I’m afraid that I found out how long you’re stuck up there. I don’t want to break it to you, but of course I will. I can’t keep anything from you. You’re trapped up there for a thousand years. Unless I get you back on Tuesday.
I will send some food up as well, as I doubt there is anything to eat up there, on the moon. I hope you like these presents and this letter. I hope you haven’t completely given in to Nightmare Moon. I hope you haven’t given up on me. On Equestria.

Royal Study
The white alicorn dipped her quill into the ink pot, finishing her letter. She sighed and rolled the letter up, and levitated it into a basket. She checked everything; Food, Letter, Scroll, Books and Other Items. Magic was gathered and the spell took off, with a flash of light. The basket was gone, along with the items. Celestia could only hope that they got to their destination.

Just the story. There's another story I'm writing, but it'll be put up in chapter parts, and that is going to be VERY long.

Chapter 5: Year 320 - 400: Gifts
Year 320, Luna
About twenty years ago....... The best thing ever happened.
A basket appeared in front of my face. And this basket is the best thing ever.
IT WAS A PICNIC BASKET.
I opened it. Yes, I did. I’ve got the use of my horn back. Nightmare Moon was so angry when she found out!
I lifted the first scroll up. It had Celestia’s royal seal on it. A drop of moisture formed in my eye, making it’s way down my face.
I unravelled it, and teared up. I was stuck up here for a thousand years, unless Celly got me back on Tuesday.
But there was more! A scroll that could tell what day it was in Equestria! Oh, Nightmare used that spell right away, just to see whether she could get back. It was a waste of time, unfortunately.
Also packed was a LOT of food. I still have half of it. Yeah, the basket was big.
But the best thing of all was....
A game. A game for foals. My favourite game.
I screamed. Well, in my mind. Everything was in my mind now.
But anyway, Celly still loves me! Flying sufficed for celebration, even if Nightmare Moon was trying to spoil it.
I wish that I could send one back.
Year 340
A tingly feeling in my right forehoof dragged me out of my moping. I feel that Nightmare Moon is letting down her defences to me, slightly as time goes on. Or is she getting weaker? I sure hope so. It will be easier to take over her, for when I get back. Maybe I will be able to completely change back before I get home, convincing everyone that I’m not a threat. It’ll all be normal again.
But do I want it to be normal? Do I want to rule with my sister again? Should I blend into the populace, become a normal pony? Should I stay here forever? So many questions, not enough answers. I don’t know what I should do anymore. I guess if Nightmare Moon goes back to Equestria, not Princess Luna, the Elements of Harmony will send her back to the moon. And it will be a cycle, until I take over Nightmare Moon. If I take over Nightmare Moon.
Anyway, I’m trying not to get into depression again. I’ll turn to nicer subjects.
The other year, Nightmare Moon, probably out of boredom, looked at Equestria again. In eighty years it had changed so, so much. More cities, everywhere. Equestria’s borders stretching further and further, the ponies turning dry, coarse, stiff grass into lush, green, delectable grass over a matter of time.
Whoever saves me from this endless boredom shall receive a gift.
Year 360
My suspicions are looking to be very plausible. I can use my right forehoof. Her defences are becoming weaker. It’s only been about three hundred and fifty years. Wait, three hundred and sixty years. Maybe she’ll weaken enough that I can take over my body again. Then I’ll convince everypony that I’m actually a good pony. Then... I don’t know. It will go back to normal. But what is normal when you’ve been stuck on the moon for a long time?
You know, or rather you don’t because you’re just my mind, OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?! AHHHH EVERYPONY RUN FOR YOUR LIVES IT’S RAINING ROCKS OF FIREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! AH WHAT AH NO NO NO NIGHTMARE MOON GET OUT OF THE WAY! YOU DON’T WANT TO DIE! I DON’T WANT TO DIE! I’M TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Wait... Being thousands of years old isn’t really young... Ah, what the hell, I am immortal. BUT NOT INVINCIBLE! GET OUT OF THE WAY! SO MANY FIREY ROCKY DUSTY RAINBOWS! Ooh, a Sonic Flameboom. OH MY GOD RUNNNNNNNN-
Year 380
Um... Now that I’m looking back on my previous entry I probably should explain why I flipped out. You see, there was this huge meteor shower while I was recording, and, uh, I might have forgotten to stop recording once it had begun. And by recording, I mean mentally saying it in my mind as I am just a piece of floaty stuff floating around my - Or, rather, Nightmare’s - mind.
Equestria’s flourishing - much more than when I was there. It’s really quite sad. Celly’s doing so well without me. It’s like she never wanted me. Like she would have banished me here if Nightmare wasn’t going to declare eternal night.
SNAP OUT OF IT.
Anyway, I think Nightmare’s going a bit crazy. She found this rock last year, and she’s been calling it Rocky. Each to their own, I guess.
Year 400
Start the celebrations? Not really, when YOUR OWN “LOVING” SISTER SENT YOU TO THE MOON!
Ahem.
I just... Don’t think I’ll be able to hold out much longer. Nightmare’s already proven to have lost it. She’s just repeating herself with “So many friends” and playing with Rocky all year. And yes, years are becoming like days to us. I think it’s sometime in the four hundredth year. Oh look, Nightmare’s celebrating. With Rocky. At a ‘tea party’. Mmm, those are some delicious MOON ROCK cakes.
Shame it’s not a real party, perhaps there could have been some gifts.
Twilight finished writing the second report to Celestia just as the goddess herself walked in.
‘Celestia, what a surprise! I was just about to send the reports,’
‘So how’s Luna faring?’ Celestia glanced over at Luna’s unconscious form.
‘Well.... She’s going to be unconscious for a while. It took me about two hours to get to year one hundred, and with writing down as I went, it took about six hours, and that's when I'm at my full capacity of magic. I estimate about three days before I can get all of it, partly because I won't be able to keep it up.’
Celestia sat down next to Luna, stroking her starry mane.
‘I will have some lunch delivered to you, do make sure that you eat. I will be back in six hours, to check on Luna,’
‘Here are the first two reports, if you have any spare time before you come back, read them.’ Twilight got a fresh sheet of paper out, to continue writing. Celestia picked up the reports, her horn glowing.
‘I’m afraid I must go. Royal Duties. Sometimes I hate being a princess,’ Celestia stroked Luna’s mane one last time, then got up.
‘Twilight, do make sure she doesn’t go comatose.’ Celestia left the room.

Interlude: An Interruption
It was dark. Twilight Sparkle’s eyes drooped as she wrote the fourth report. Her face was drawing ever nearer to the desk, her eyelids now fully closed. Her muzzle squashed against the desk. A squeak from the entrance woke her up almost instantly. She looked around, and panicked.
‘OhPrincessCelestiaIwasn’tsleepingIwasjustwritingthenextreportforyouandpleasedon’tsendmebacktomagickindergartenorsendmetothesun!’ A tired pony such as her shouldn’t have been able to say that very fast, and that was apparent to Princess Celestia, but she only heard little.
‘Calm down, Twilight, and please could you repeat that?’ Twilight blushed, as she had only meant to actually say part of that to Celestia’s face.
‘I wasn’t sleeping, I was just writing the next report for you,’ Celestia swore Twilight had said more, but didn’t bring it up. Five uneventful minutes later, Celestia broke the awkward silence.
‘I got your third report, can I please have the fourth? Also, you look terrible. No offence or anything. Just go and get some sleep, my little pony.’ Twilight’s eyes had dark bags, and her eyes were red with lack of sleep. Her mane was a mess, but she had been up nearly all night.
‘But I have more to write down!’
‘At that rate, you won’t get any sleep for a few days. Go to bed, Twilight.’ The lavender mare sighed, and nodded. Her hoof moved to her face, wiping her eyes. Twilight trudged out of the room, heading to her own. Celestia stroked Luna’s mane, and left. The door closed softly.
