Iscariat is invited to a Hearth Warming Day party by Princess Twilight, and though he would have declined, Princesses Celestia and Luna convince him otherwise. The party goes off without a hitch, but half way through the festivities Iscariat leaves, and Twilight and her friends cannot help but ask, "Why?" After some coaxing, Princess Luna reveals to the young mares a sad secret about Iscariat; a secret that could have resulted in the stallion not becoming the Curator they know him as.
