Chapters Maybe until death I do
Chapter 1 – Might Be
It's been three months since Canterlot, three months since you took that plunge into something that’s completely different, something that means more. Well...it's been three months, truly you kind of knew nothing would really change seeing as how you've already been living together and you already have a foal. But even though change hasn't really come for Twilight's obsession to please Celestia or for your inability to accept it, change has come to the world around you.
You and Twilight no longer reside in your old room and have moved across the hall into Twilight's original room, which never really made much sense to you why Spike needed such a big bed anyways but Spike didn't complain seeing as how its a little warmer on the other side of the hall.
The new room you and Twilight reside in has come with a little switch off. You no longer get woken up by the sun too early, but you also no longer get a sun warmed bed in the morning... However not having the same pleasant warm early mornings does give the advantage of keeping Twilight in bed a little longer seeing as how her new goal in the morning is to steal any body heat from you. But it's not like you're complaining. It's just you now kind of regret wondering what winter would feel like on your coat, especially seeing as how pony weather just changes pretty much overnight.
The lavender mare that lays close up against you begins to stir a little and your thoughts start to drift away from your mind as you feel her slowly awaken.
Outside the cold winter moon is only barely in the sky, but it’s white glow that bounces from the snow that has piled up outside over night has giving the world a slightly brighter shine.
Still though even in the dim very early morning lighting Twilight’s purple highlights are visible to her mane, which helps you to trace her body’s outline to the room.
You stare to her with a slight smile as you move your front hooves around her from under the covers.
Which of course brings a slight annoyed whine from her as the definitely cooler air hits against her. Sure the air stings a bit to you as well but her cute noise doesn't really plead to stop as it allows her to further herself into you on her quest to rewarm herself using you.
“...Mhmm, how are you up?”
The groggy voice runs past your ears as you think the comment over with a smile, “Hard to sleep with hooves in my side.”
A slight giggle comes from the lavender mare, “Oh, and who's doing that?”
But as her voice ends her body slowly begins to turn in your grasp as you are forced to loosen it a little, her still sleepy eyes turn to meet you. As she looks to you an almost surprised face come to her as she speaks up, “You horrible.”
You blink to her comment as you put on a smile and begin to move a hoof to her messy uncombed mane as you start to slightly play in it, “You don’t.”
She rolls her eyes as she gives a little giggle, “I mean you look tired.”
You don’t react to her comment as you just shrug it off, you know that she’s aware of your lack of sleeping ability but you've started to grow a custom to lack of hours. Which probably isn't good but come on alien shape shifter fire bending librarian...when Twilight’s not able to scold you about it.
“You know, I did come across a sleep spell that's supposed to help a pony sleep.” A slight yawn comes from her as she forces her eyes to stay open, “...You want to give it a shot?”
It takes you a moment to speak up as you think over her offer, but you figure the worst thing is you just end up getting a headache...or turn pink, so there's really nothing to lose.
With a nod of the head Twilight’s eyes open a little bit more as her horn takes on a decently bright purple glow.
The low chime of magic starts to come over you and a nice warm feeling starts to embrace your body as her horn’s glow holds to the room.
The spell feels a little weird to you but the nice warm feeling starts to embrace you a little more as you begin to give into your drooping eyes.
You have no idea how long it’s been but you start to awake as the sound of muffled bird chirps start to bring you to rise.
But the slow morning waking doesn't last long as you feel a hoof slightly pound against your chest softly. Your eyes open as you shift them to Twilight’s spot but you’re kind of surprised to see the empty spot beside you.
However you don't really stare to the room to long as you turn your gaze to the light purple alarm clock thats now dug her hoofs to your mound of fur that lays under the bed's covers.
The blue eyed filly holds a slight confused stare to your slow movements for a moment, but a slight smile comes to her as she looks over your still have sleepy eyed stare. Her front hooves continue to poke at you for a moment before she sits her flank to the bed beside you.
Violet hasn't really gotten any bigger over the last few months but you have noticed her personality coming out a little more along with Twilight's own questioning attitude. Which is not a bad thing, except its now almost impossible for her to keep her hooves away from things, or to stay inside...but you think that just comes from the fact its been snowing outside.
"...Hey sweetie..." You move your front hooves a little from the covers as you feel the cool crisp air from the room starting to hit you.
But to your words Violet scrunches her nose up a little as she brings her hooves to speak up, you blink to the motions for a second as your morning brain slowly starts to place the filly’s movements.
As it does you get a slight smile as you set your head up, "Oh ya? And did somepony brush her teeth already?"
A nod of the head comes over the filly as she watches you beginning to move a little more from the bed. You squint to her smile as you look over her perfectly combed mane that Twilight has brushed to resemble her own, "Did Mommy get you ready?"
Another nod of the head comes from her as she holds her spot on the bed, but a new smile comes to you as you move your hoof to her Twilight mane and begin to mess it up until it falls to its normal style.
A slight wheezing laugh comes from Violet as you continue to playfully tussle her mane, but she stops her unique giggle as you lean your head a little closer, "Now remember if Mommy ask why your mane is messed up its because you were doing a spell."
Violet holds a playful smile to her normal mane style as she ignores your words and begins to mess it up to her own liking.
You move your eyes to her bow as you look it over, Twilight usually ties it to tight but today it looks fine. As you make your last check mark to your own mind list you start to move from the bed as you plant your hooves to the cold wood floor.
Your body has still yet to fully come back to normal from your encounter with the Element's of Harmony, and you doubt it ever will. although a slightly slower morning is fine seeing as how you're able to hold a few spells without things bursting to flames or getting a headache.
It takes you a few seconds to stretch your legs out as you look over the room, but as you do this your eyes meet a small circular white-gold ring that sits to the wood dresser that stands near the door. You roll your eyes to the horn ban as you stand from the bed, so much for that thing being special...
You hold your eyes to the horn ban as you move a little over towards it, but you push your thoughts about it aside as you move your eyes to set on the dark blue chest that sits against the dresser. Twilight's old room is still kinda new to you seeing as how you two decided to move into it only a few weeks ago, and for some reason you have found the small box interesting.
The top of the box glows a faint purple as you open it, but your eyes don't really show you anything you haven't already seen...However a smile comes over you as you float a blue rattle from the box and begin to turn it back to the little filly that has moved to the edge of the bed to watch you.
You hover the rattle towards her as speak up in a slightly too excited voice, "Look Violet, you remember this?"
The filly blinks to the rattle as she turns her confused stare to you.
From her stare you lose a little bit of your fatherly excitement as you speak up, "What ten months old and you're too big for a rattle?"
A wide smile comes over the little filly’s face as her hooves speak up.
You think over her motion for a moment before you float the rattle back towards the chest, "Big filly huh?" You look back to the box as you move the blankets from Violet's old crib aside, but you stop your motion for a second as you blink to a small grey stuffed pony looking thing with blue and white poke-a-dot pants. You move your hoof to it as you hold your confusion, "Why does this have pants?"
But as you bring the weird button eyed doll from the chest Violet's face turns to a baby like O face as she stares to the toy.
You shift your head back to her as you think to yourself, why would Twilight not give Violet this doll? You move your eyes back to it as you study it. There's no way its new seeing as how one of the button eyes is basically falling off. You move your gaze back to Violet as you get a little smirk, "Big filly huh?"
The doll gets a light purple glow as you watch it trace through the air towards Violet, but it's quickly grabbed from your magical grasp as Violet's blue hold comes over it.
You hold a smile to her face as you talk, " Ten months is too old to-..." Your words are cut off as Violet's horn sparks back up with a bright blue glow as she teleports herself to the threshold of the door. The sound of her hooves clapping against the wood comes back fast as you watch the light purple filly quickly darting towards the stairs with the doll floating next to her.
You follow after the smiling filly as you close the chest with a mental note to come back and make the bed latter.
End of chapter 1
Chapter 2 – Rise and ugh mornings
Violet's hooves clap to the sound of the stairs as the light purple filly bobs the doll to her magic with each step she takes. Another slight morning yawn rolls through you as you follow the filly down the stairs, but your sight goes to the room as you watch her happily galloping towards the table to your right.
As you look around the empty house you start to wonder where Spike or Twilight are but your thoughts are quickly cut off as your ear flicks to a feminine voice coming from behind you, "...No Spike I think its more of a magic block..."
You follow the voice as you turn to the other side of the house as you trot into the main part of the library, however as you bring your eyes to the room you do a slight double take to the scattered collection of neatly placed small towers of books.
But you ignore the room as you move your gaze to the lavender mare that stands in front of a wooden podium with a stream of books flying slowly across her face, "...no...no...no...hmm...no.."
As you move towards her spot your voice comes back with a slight laugh as you look around the room, "What are you doing?"
To your voice Twilight's ear flicks but she doesn't turn her head as the stream of books continues to come past her, "I'm trying to find a book that can restore Star Swirl the bearded’s journal..." Her voice picks up a little as the stream of books halts in the air as their puppet master turns to you, "...I mean look at this thing, its like Celestia didn't even try to keep it intact."
The smaller sized and flimsier book floats towards you with an open page thats more like a used tissue of words, you blink to her words as you think over one of her earlier comments. "Isn't that book over a thousand years old?"
"YES!" To your words Spike crosses his arms as he nods to Twilight, "Thats what I said."
Twilight gives a slight one ha laugh as she rolls her hoof to you and Spike, "This book was in the care of Celestia, some pages are not even touched...it just makes no sense that I can't use the same restore spell on everything in it."
You shrugs the comment off as you look the room back over again, you know she has to have been at this for awhile now, "How come you didn't wake me?"
The lavender mare turns back to the stream of books as her horn sparks back up, but the steady pace of the books becomes a quick one direction movement as they become a neat stack to a small nearby table, "Because, that spell seems to work this morning."
“What spell?”
She turns back to you as she squints her eyes, "Don't you remember me trying that sleeping spell on you this morning?"
You shake your head to the comment as she taps her hoof to her mouth, but her voice comes back fast as she nods, "Ok, well we can't try that spell anymore...not if it makes you forget things."
You blow to the comment as you she floats Star Swirl's journal closer towards her, "I don't think I remember anything in the morning."
A slight giggle comes from Twilight as she trots past you, "Spike don't worry about the books, I have a clean up spell I want to try out when we get back."
You lose your smile to her words as you follow after her, "Get back? Twilight I thought we agreed you weren't going to do that today?"
A sheepish smile comes over her as she shakes her head, "Well, Celestia stopped by early today to check on them, and there wasn't any problems." Her voice continues as she floats the journal towards the table, "Besides you know Hearth Warming Eve is important, and what's better than using the elements of harmony on a day like this?"
You don't loosen your face as you give a slight sigh, "So that's why you didn't wear your horn ban today."
Twilight gives a sweet smile as she looks you over, "You know I like it...its just anything on a unicorn's horn will restrict magic use."
Ya, something specially picked out and she can't even wear it...You hold the thought for a moment but you're unable to speak up as Twilight turns her head to the light purple filly that has been sitting at the table, her voice comes back with a slight baby like tone but its a little more questioning as she trots towards the filly, "Where did you get that Violet?"
The light purple filly gives a smile to the mare as she gets closer, but Twilight's eyes focus to the stuffed doll that sits in a slouching position on the table.
Your previous thoughts are pushed aside as you blink to Twilight's voice, "I found it in Violet's baby chest..." You shrug to your words as you continue, "I figure it's an early birthday present."
Twilight pauses for a moment as she thinks over your words, but her voice comes back as she turns towards you, "Well Violet's birthday is in Luna's year, so it is a little too early for a birthday present..."
You roll your eyes to the comment as you laugh to it, "I thought we weren't going to go by that?"
Her ear flicks to the words as she nods her head, "O-oh were not i'm just saying." You hold a faint smile as you speak up trying to tease her slight know it all tone, "Well when is your birthday, this year or next?"
"It already passed this year." Twilight’s gaze of the doll doesn't really shift as she studies it.
You're surprised to the response as you quickly speak back up, "What? How come we didn't do anything special?"
A faint giggle comes from Twilight as she turns her head to you for a second, "Because it wouldn't be fair to do something special for my birthday if you can't even remember yours."
"HA! Mines..." You pause to the words as you think, "Uh...mines today." Even through your stutter you hold a confident smile as you wait for a response.
"Oh, Really, so what do you want to do today?" She cocks her eye brow to your sure face as she waits for your next comment.
You think over her words as a thought rolls through your head, "Uh...actually I think i'll wait until somepony can watch Violet and Spike." You give an innocent smile as you shrug to her.
However before Twilight's voice can come back to her shes cut off as Spike comes in behind you, "Whoa, is that...I'm surprised Twilight hasn't even taken the doll back yet."
The purple dragon stops his voice with a laugh for a moment as he nudges you, noticing your confusion, "...You know how I always told you Twilight didn't have many friends in Canterlot, well your looking at the only friend before she got her number one assistant." A proud smile comes to Spike's face as he points his claw to himself.
You get a slight smile as you look over Twilight's slightly annoyed expression, "No Spike I was going to give Ms. Smarty Pants to Violet..."
"Ms?" You get a wider smile as you stare to Twilight, but your word only stops her for a moment as she takes up a straighter posture to hide her slight embarrassment, "Yes, MS.Smarty Pants...Just like you named your cape." She shoots back a sly smile as she loses her posture a little.
But you're not able to defend yourself as Spike's laugh comes back to the room as he moves towards the table, "Did you really name a cape?"
You squint to the purple dragon as you think to yourself, go on and laugh dragon...The super bad ass librarian with a sleeping disorder-...You quickly move from the thought as you realize the last part makes you sound like an old man...stallion. "No, I didn't name my cape...but I am super pony."
As the words leave your mouth you now realize how dumb it sounds to say it out loud. Note to self, maybe come up with something else.
Although not matter how dumb you feel right now you can't take the words from the room as Spike lets out another childlike laugh.
Twilight no longer continues the conversation as she gives a slight giggle and turns back towards Violet, "I was going to give Violet Ms. Smarty Pants after I was able to get rid of the spell I put on it."
At the end of her words Twilight reaches her hoof to the doll as she starts to look it over, as the doll moves from the table Violet's face takes on a slight pout as she looks to the moved toy.
You notice Violet's expression as you speak up with laugh, "What spell?"
Again Twilight's voice is cut off as Spike speaks up for her, "Ha! Oh ya that was great! Twilight put a want it need it spell on the doll when she needed to write a letter for Celestia." Spike points his claw to you as he squints his eyes, "...Seriously though it was a weird day."
Twilight ignores the comment with a roll of the eyes as she nods to you and speaks up in a lower voice, "You know we can't have her getting upset so easily, and this spell has an affect on foals."
Violet blinks to the words as she goes through her favorite response, to it Twilight gives a slight giggle as her horn sparks up, "Of course you are...But hold on sweetie." Twilight's eyes come back to focus on the doll as her magic wraps around it a little brighter.
The low chime rings a little around the room as whatever spell Twilight uses rolls through its motion, but the spell ends fast as Twilight floats the toy in front of her. But the toy doesn't look the exact same as it now has a slightly brighter looking gray color and its button eye that was hanging has set back to the doll's face. The two buttons are still different colors but the doll looks a lot newer.
Twilight holds a sweet smile to the doll as she turns it back towards Violet with a smile, "Here you go Violet."
As the toy comes to hoof's reach of the little filly it's snatched from the magical hold as Violet brings it to her hooves with her found joy.
You know Violet's older but your still surprised that something in her grasp doesn't immediately dart to her mouth any more.
With a slight sigh Twilight moves towards the small box thats sitting against the wall, "Ok, Violet already ate and I already put her stuff out." Twilight extends her hoof towards a small light blue saddle with a rim of puffy white fluff that extends around it, under the saddle sitting on the chair theres four small dark purple boots...but you drift your mind back to Twilight as she continues, "...Like we already talked about you don't have to come to it-..."
You shake your head as you walk over towards the table, "No, what we talked about was telling Princess Do Nothing that we weren't doing anything with the dumb things for awhile."
To your words Violet wiggles her front hooves happily until you and Twilight turn to her, as she stares between you two she holds a smile as her left ear and left hoof go through a motion.
"Violet, it's not nice to say dumb." Twilight turns her eyes to you as she continues, "And Daddy shouldn't teach you these things."
You give an innocent smile as you think to yourself, how the heck did she learn that word from only one try?!
But Twilight's stare-O-death ends fast as her horn sparks up to bring her own boots and saddle over to her, "And I already told you Celestia said they were fine..." A laugh comes from her as she brings her hoof up to you, "And believe me I made sure of it." Her extended hoof comes capped as the last boot magically comes over her hoof.
No reassurance comes from her words though as you look her over, but you're not able to really say much as she floats her saddle to you, "Care to help me out?"
You take the saddle from the magic as you hold it level to her side while her magic comes over it to bring it against herself. It only takes a moment for the saddle to come over her figure and you really don't see a point to her always needing help if she just does it with magic. But as she moves from your hoof she gives you a quick kiss.
Which for you brings a slight smile, but for her it brings an unexpected surprise as she wrinkles her nose and speaks up, "Ugh, maybe you should brush your teeth."
A slight chuckle comes from you as you nod your head, but her voice comes back as she trots towards the door, "Spike are you coming now?"
The purple dragon squints to the words before he rolls his eyes, "Depends, do I have to wait outside while you go over a check list?"
Twilight holds an unamused face as you and Spike give a slight laugh, but with a little groan her voice comes back to the room, "No."
Spike nods his head to the words as he stands from the table, "Then yes i’ll come now." He rolls his eyes as he move towards the door, “Might as well get the cold walk over with now.”
As he moves towards the door you hold your head to Violet as you wait for the door to open and close.
End of chapter 2
Chapter 3 – Snowville
The late morning has rolled on by and the tree house library has become a comfortable feel no longer bound to the cool wood of the earlier morning; and as you venture back down the stairs for the almost hundredth time just today. You know Violet doesn't really need to be watched like she used to be, but that didn't really stop you while you went through your routine.
But you've completed most of your mind's checklist so there won't be any need for you to go back upstairs this time. This fact brings a slight smile to your face seeing as how unlike Twilight you don't need to float a piece of paper around with you to keep you organized.
As the last wood stairs moves from your back legs you swing your head back and forth from the downstairs rooms for a few seconds as you locate the light purple filly. But you don't really have to search too long as you spot her staring out the slight frosted window that she must have moved a chair to.
The doll that Twilight fixed earlier today still sits to the table only slightly moved from when she left, your guess would be that Violet doesn't really find it as interesting without that spell on it. With the thought in mind you move your hoof to the doll, but you don't get to move it far as a light blue glow comes over it and sets it back to the table in the same slightly slumped over fashion.
Violet gives a slight smile as her magical hold over the toy drops, as you look over her face for a moment you nod your head, "Alright you win."
At the end of your comment you move your eyes back to the window as you think to yourself, you're not really worried about being too late to where you need to go, seeing as how you know how to get to the center of town. But you look back to the blue saddle still draped over the chair as your purple glow takes hold over it, "Come on Violet lets get you ready."
To the words her smile grows a little wider as she turns her body towards you as she feels the warm saddle floating around her. You've gotten good at putting the thing on even though you usually always use magic.
As the small dark purple boots float over towards her, but you stop the motion as you look over Violet's hoof motions. Some of the words she used where a little off but you're not even really sure what hearth is. However a proud smile comes over your face as you realize that you nor Twilight have even taught the word to Violet, but yet she got most of it right, "What's Hearth Warming Eve?"
A nod comes from Violet as she watches for your voice, but you pause for a moment as you shift a little trying to search your mind. You know Twilight has explained it to you but you always know her explanations are not always the simplest of things for a filly.
You don't hold your voice in for long as you bring your slightly unsure voice up, "A long time ago Equestria was founded, and this is a day we celebrate it."
Violet pauses for a moment and you take advantage of her lack of movement as you lift up one of her legs as you slide the first boot to her hoof. The small purple boot has its own rim of white fluff that matches the saddle that Rarity made the last time it was snowing.
But you don't get to float the next boot on so fast as Violet's left hoof taps to her right.
"Why, well because celebrating is fun." You give a stupid smile to your answer as you look to the little filly.
But she shakes her head as she goes through another simple hoof gesture. But to it you give a laugh as you realize why she's confused, "Eve does mean night, but we celebrate it in the day."
Violet's next motions comes back fast as shakes her head and wiggles her left hoof and left ear, you nod your head as you chuckle to her word, "You're right that is dumb."
You look over her giggly like smile as you float another boot to her, you know she thinks she just got away with something she's not supposed to do but at the same time her childish smile is too happy to scold her.
It takes you a few minutes to get the little filly ready but as her last boot comes to her she quickly moves from her seat as she happily trots towards the door. Her new covered boots don't let the normal clop of hooves chime from her as her fast pace quickly comes to end.
You follow after the light purple filly as you move past her and open the door, but you stop as a cool nip of air. To the unwelcome and abrupt change from the warm house your mind clicks in something you forgot...You've forgot to get your own winter stuff on, but you're unable to turn back into the house as the light purple filly comes darting out of the house as she quickly turns her head up to the very light flakes of snow that still trickle from the clouds above.
You close the door behind you as you shrug your thoughts off, its not really cold until the wind blows and the main paths to town don't really have too much snow build up to them unlike the areas off the paths.
And even if you did want to go back inside there's no way you're going to get Violet back in anytime soon as you watch her happily hop galloping in and out of the deeps snow piles.
Her horn glows a faint blue as you two start to make your way towards town. The speed of your trot is held by Violet as she changes her speedy hop gallop up and down. You focus your gaze to the little filly as you watch the point of her horn's glow coming into play. Above the upturned smiling filly's head a small almost bowl like curve of blue magic appears as she continues to happily hold a gallop around trying to collect the snowflakes that now are sticking to her magic.
You squint a little to her as your voice comes up, "What are you-..." Your trot and voice are both brought to a stop as the collection of snow is flung at you. Your face is left in a slight shiver for a moment followed by the low sound of the filly's wheezing laugh.
With a slight sigh you build your own magic around your body as you feel the snow turning to water and then quickly to small puffs of steam as you hold your spell to yourself. But as the spell you hold ends leaving you no longer cold you cock your head back to the filly that smiles up to you as you talk, "Pinkie shouldn't have shown you snowballs..."
To the word Violet's trot comes back to her as she starts to look around the new white world. However as you walk beside her you keep a close eye on to her horn as you wait for her second attack, note to self, show Violet how a snowball is really used. You hold the thought with a faint smile as you two start to take your first steps towards the main street of town.

Chapter 4
Chapter 4 – A wonderland
Your walk through Ponyville’s main street has started to come to its end as you near the center of town where most of the other ponies around you seem to be going. The scene around you is cheerful as you and Violet walk past or trail near other stallions, mares and foals that all just seem to be enjoying the cool winter day.
You on the other hand don't really share the same smile as you realize that not going back upstairs for something to wear was probably a mistake. But you hold the thought off as you take note to the festive area you walk in to.
The center of Ponyville has almost been transformed from the world around it, the main street and outer areas of Ponyville’s center are littered with fresh white snow covered roofs and thick deep piles of pushed snow off to the sides. But around here the flat grass and dirt of the town is almost empty of snow and the clouds above it only lightly trickle down the frozen rain.
Really you shouldn't be too surprised by the town's ability at creating festive areas, seeing as how all of the clouds are controlled by pegasus and the town has mainly grass and dirt instead of stone for its paths and roads. However the winter made wonderland brings a slight smile to your face as you look around to all the ponies wearing colorful and warm fitted saddles, boots, scarves or winter hats...dammit I should have gone back upstairs.
You hold the thought as you sigh with another cold brush of air hitting against you, even though Ponyville is not Canterlot the buildings around you still give a different speed to the gust of cold wind that run through them.
But your mind is cut from the world around you as you turn to a familiar voice coming closer to you, "There you two are."
Violet's own stare to the world comes to its end as you both turn to the lavender mare that trots over to you, "Hi Twilight."
Your greeting slightly goes unnoticed as she looks you over, "Aren't you cold?"
With a shake of the head you straighten your stance as you answer, "Nope."
Twilight's eyes slightly roll to the comment as she turns her attention back to the light purple filly, "You don't look cold at all though do you?" Her slightly playful baby like voice sparks a happy response from the filly as she shakes her head to agree.
The lavender mare holds her smile as she shifts her head back to you, but her voice comes back a little more serious as she motions her hoof, "Now I've found a spot that's far enough away from the stage that way you can't be affected by the magic."
You blink to her words as she motions you to follow after her a little, "I thought Celestia said there's no problems with the elements?"
She's quick to answer as she holds her confident tone as you and Violet follow after her, "There's not, I just don't think you should be around that kind of magic."
Don't think I should be around that kind of magic? You mow over her words for a second as you give a little chuckle to them, and how does living in the same house with them not affect me? But you bite your tongue to the comment as you smile, "I think i'll be fine Twilight."
"No buts." She turns a sharp eye to you but it quickly softens as she smiles, "I don't want to worry about you."
You nod your head as she finishes, "Alright."
"Good." Her eyes go back to the stage like steps of the town hall building as she continues, "Now if you feel any kind of...weirdness or magic you just go home ok?" Her head comes back to you as she impatiently waits for a response.
You give a slight chuckle as you nod your head, "And you had better to the same, or there's going to be a new sun god when i'm done with Celestia."
A slight giggle comes from Twilight as she looks you over, but you squint your eyes to her response as you think. Hows that funny? My track record has already made me two and O for kings or queens. With that thought however you give a slight chuckle as you reluctantly watch Twilight starting to move away from you.
But her change in direction only brings her to the light purple filly next to you as her hoof comes to point, "Violet, I saw a few other fillies your age over there if you want to go and meet any new pony." An encouraging smile comes from the lavender mare as Violet turns her blue eyes to the direction of the mare's hoof.
Although Twilight's voice doesn't stop as she continues, "Daddy will be right here ok?" Her smile stays as she gives a playfully but stern stare, "Just play nice Violet."
You move from their conversation as you look towards the direction of Twilight's hoof. Its at this point you realize that not really to many other ponies are this far back from the town hall building, and the ones that are look to be younger ponies and foals seeing as how they would probably less likely care about what's going on.
But you snap back from your stare as Twilight's voice comes back to you, "Ok, i'll be back here once we finish." A wide smile comes over her face and her usually determined and sure eyes comes to her as she turns back and begins to make her way through the crowd.
Violet doesn't share your reluctance of Twilight's leaving as she starts to happily move towards the group of fillies that's a few fast hooves away.
However the light purple filly's path is cut off as a slightly taller white and orange foal comes in front of her, "HeY!"
Your gaze of the lavender mare is cut off as you blink to the high pitched squeal, mother of g-.., you quickly turn to the cause of the noise. As you do you look over the white and orange filly with no trouble placing them, "Hi Sweetie, hi-..."
"Ya ya ya, hey and all that, you want to come crusading with us?!" Scootaloo's voice cuts you off as she bends her front hoof forward to take up a slight lunging stance.
But you're unable to answer as the white filly gives a loud, "Awww...You look so cute..." The filly's green eyes pin to Violet as her voice continues, "I remember when I-..." The filly's words are brought to a halt as Scootaloo turns a question and confused eye to her friend.
Violet's height is not quite yet to Sweetie or Scootaloo's and her mane and tail don't really have the same length, body wise. But as you look between the three ponies you truly realize how big the filly has gotten seeing as how it’s rare to see Sweetie standing near Violet.
"So you wanna come? Applebloom is home with a cold and we were going to go snow sledding." A wide and excited smile comes over her face as she waits for an answer.
"Sledding?"
Sweetie and Scootaloo both nod there fuzzy winter capped head as they hold a smile.
You have no idea why or how they think that's going to get a cutie mark, but at the same time you can't believe you haven't gotten your own from everything you've done. You shake the thought as you nod your head to Violet as you talk, "Sorry, not today."
Scootaloo nods her head as she says goodbye to you two and starts to trot away, Sweetie on the other hoof smiles to the little filly as her slightly squeaky voice comes back to her, "We would invite you Violet but I think you're too young to try and get a cutie mark."
Violet blinks to the words as her hooves deny the comment with her own.
But the white filly doesn't understand the gesture as she happily looks between you two and says goodbye.
As the two fillies start to gallop away Violet's gaze comes back to her cut off path as she starts to bring her trot back up.
You follow the filly with your eyes as she starts her slight journey over towards the group of foals her own age.

Chapter 5 – Play or hay?
You hold your gaze to the filly for a few moments as she gets closer to the group of foals, but your gaze of her is slightly cut off as a stallion's voice breaks your sight. "Hey."
A face to the familiar voice comes fast as the dark orange pegasus stallion trots beside you, really you're not too surprised to see this stallion seeing as how since Stony's little bunny problem it seems you keep bumping into this stallion and the colt that usually is accompanying him. Most of your meetings are fast are really nothing more than a nod but you put a friendly smile on as you nod your head to him, "Hi Volt."
The stallion holds his smile as he continues, "So how you been?"
You start to give into the small talk as you hold a thought that you still haven't gotten use to saying, "I'm good, I got married a few months ago...."
Your gaze of the filly comes back for just a moment as you shift from the stallion to the filly, but to Violet weather or not you're watching has not stopped her trot as she nears the group in front of her.
The slightly high pitched filly's voices come to her as the small circular group gives a slight giggle to one of the filly's words. But as Violet gets closer the groups attention shift to the new foal.
Every pony in the group is about the same age as her but most of the ponies are unfamiliar to Violet as she stops her trot to there shifted gaze.
"Hey, don't I know you?" The pink filly wearing bright white boots that match her cyan cap and saddle squints her eyes to the light purple filly as she pauses.
But her voice doesn't come back up as a light yellow filly with rose mane nods her head, "Hey ya, shes that weird pony that never came back to preschool."
Violet's hooves are motionless as she blinks to the growing mutters of the small group, but the slightly annoying voice of the pink filly comes up as she gives a slight laugh, "What happened, did your Mommy take you out cause your con-tay-gis."
The filly struggles with the words for a moment before another pony speaks up for her, "Ya, she's contagious!"
Another slight giggle comes from the fillies as they playfully jump back from Violet as their voices come back simultaneously, "EWWW."
The group's annoying banter of laughs comes back as Violet's ears droop down a little, "Why don't you go and play with the colts, weirdy." The pink filly holds her hoof as she holds a rude scoffing stare.
Violet turns her eyes to another group of small foals as she holds her head down a little sad from the filly's playful laughing. But she doesn't let her emotions spark up as she holds Twilight's comment to her.
Instead the light purple filly moves away from the group as she turns her sight to the other group, but even though she moves away from the group the pink filly's annoying voice comes back in a slight eek as she jumps away from Violet, "UgH, don't walk so close." Another giggle comes from the ponies as Violet's pace comes a little faster.
Her head hangs low and her ears lay down but the filly doesn't think to turn back to where you and Volt are still talking as she pushes herself towards the other group.
Your small talk with the stallion starts to come to an end with a friendly laugh from the stallion as he looks around for a moment, "So where's Violet?"
You motion with your hoof to the group of fillies that you saw her walking towards, but as you do this you notice the light purple filly not there. A slight bit of panic hits you but, your eyes quickly bring her in sight as you watch her slower paced trot towards another group.
A slight laugh comes from Volt as he notices the light purple filly, he nudges you a little as he holds the friendly smile, "Your filly doesn't really seem to like other fillies too much huh?"
You give a simple response as you watch Violet, but your again brought back to the stallion's voice as he starts to talk, "Ya, my oldest didn't really like playing with other fillies ." Another laugh comes from him as he continues, "Nothing to worry about till they get older right?"
Volt's voice doesn't really come to slow down as you slowly start to realize that this stallion is going to continue, you move your sight back to the stallion as you listen to him, but you move your eyes back and forth as you glance to Violet, you're too far to hear anything but you still slightly hold a slight uneasy feeling as you continue your shifting eyes.
Violet's trot has brought her to the small group of colts that are near that back of the crowds, unlike the filly's group this one is a little bit smaller and a little more spaced out. Although as her trot brings her to the group the colt's eyes shift to her just like the other group.
To their shift Violet slightly averts her eyes but she still holds her own confusion, the light blue unicorn colt across from her with short blue mane that kind of matches his own winter clothes speaks up in a slightly squeaky voice as he realizes the filly's trot stopping near the group, "Hey, no girls-..."
The colt's voice is cut off as Violet's ears bring a familiar voice to her, "Aw come on, Viowit is fun."
The stuffy nosed voice brings Violet's head back up as she looks over the three colts around her, but she moves her eyes to the familiar light orange coated colt that sits on a small cloud that hovers above the ground.
To the orange colt's words the blue colt gives an annoyed sigh, "Sparky, with four ponies we have an odd number, how can we have play hide and seek with an odd number hmm?"
Violet squints to the comment as she looks over the blue colt's confident stance despite his incorrect words.
"We could pway a different game." The light orange pegasus gives a sheepish smile as he looks to the blue colt.
"A different game?" The colt repeats the words almost as if it was a different language, but he rolls his eyes as he looks back to the light purple filly in front of him, "...Fine."
Sparky gets a slight smile as he turns to Violet, "Did you want to pway Viowit?"
The light purple filly gives a smile as she nods her head.
"Alright, but if she starts crying like a little filly, then she’s out." The blue colt puffs his chest out a little as he tries to hold his squeaky voice to a deeper tone.
As the colt's voice dies down Sparky shifts his posture up a little bit as he moves on his small cloud that only hangs a little above the ground, "That's Bell...."
The name causes the blue colt's ear to flick as he cuts the orange pegasus off, "Its Bell , not Bell ." There's really no different to the name except the blue colt's voice takes on a slightly deeper tone.
Violet's hooves stay to the ground as the pegasus's voice comes back up, "And that's Futty."
Violet's gaze turns to the slightly rounder looking tan coat colored earth colt that stands next to her, the colt hasn't really taken part in the conversation as he continues to look around the crowds, but his voice comes back as he turns his head to the group, "I heard there's going to be cake after the thingy."
Sparky squints to the comment as he slowly lowers his extended hoof, "O...k?" But his normal excited stuffy nosed voice comes back as he moves his hoof back to Violet, "And this is Viowit."
Futty waves his hoof as he goes back to look around, Bell takes a few seconds to look over the filly before he speaks backup, "Hi...." He turns back to Sparky as he continues, "Alright now what are we going to do?"

Chapter 6 – Heath warming
Your shifts between Volt and the little filly comes to its end as you look over the filly's happier face, but for the stallion next to you his voice slowly starts to trail down as he finishes whatever story you've been only slightly listening to.
As Volt goes silent for a moment you turn back to him, you notice most of the crowd around you has gone silent and you soon find the reason as you turn your gaze back to the stage of the town hall as you watch a brownish grey mare with silverish grey mane coming up to a microphone looking thing.
You squint to it for a moment as you think to yourself, is that really a microphone? Your answer comes as the mare's voice comes over the crowed in a warm welcome, "Good day Ladies and Gentlecolts, I would like to welcome you to Ponyville’s hundred and third annual Hearth Warming Eve celebration."
A happy cheering comes over the crowds as the mare's voice continues to ring through the crowd's noise, you even feel yourself participating in the noise as you start to stomp your front hooves to the ground like most of the other ponies.
"This year we have a very special starting for today with a short speech by Princess Celestia followed by a showing of the Element's of Harmony."
The crowd around you starts to mutter, but the tone holds the excitement as everypony starts to slightly whisper to each other.
As the noise starts to end the mare moves from the front of the stage as you watch the familiar taller white mare with the almost rainbow of colors for a mane trotting towards the microphone.
You know Celestia is tall, but looking at the mare from a distance is completely different....I could still take her. However a smile crosses your face as you watch Twilight and her friends starting to come up to the stage behind Celestia. The gems on the Element's glow bright as the sun's light reflects into them. You move your eyes over the very familiar ponies as you trace your eyes to Twilight. The only question you really get from looking them over is how the heck is Fluttershy not nervously shaking more.
But you hold your eyes to Twilight's pride and sure face as Celestia's voice starts to ring through the crowd.
The group of foals Violet resides in doesn't really pay attention to the ponies on the stage, half because they can't see them and half because the conversation about what they should do hasn't come to an end.
"Aww...but I always lose snowball fights." The tan colt gives a slight sigh as his words end.
Bell on the other hoof pokes his hoof towards him as he laughs, "Come on, look even the filly's not complaining."
Violet just blinks to the colt's words not really understanding why he keeps referring to her as 'the filly'. But she pushes his words aside as she the fast pace conversation continues.
The earth colt rolls his eyes as he nods, "Fine, but I want Sparky on my team."
Bell's eyes widen a little as he groans, his eyes come back to Violet as he cocks his head, "No way, you're on my team."
"Oh, ok." The colt quickly changes his attitude as he moves to stand near the unicorn colt as he wiggles his hoof to Sparky, "Alright Sparky, you wanted Viowit to play so you two are a team."
The light pegasus looks back to Violet with a shrug as he talks, "K."
Bell's voice comes back as he holds he swings his hoof between Violet and Sparky, "Good, then lets play Appleloosa rules, no cover and three games."
Sparky nods to the words as Violet blinks a little confused, but her question she hooves out goes unanswered as Futty's voice comes back, "YA, and no flying."
A slight girly laugh escapes Bell as he waves his hoof to the colt, "Sparky fly? He's afraid of his own wings."
"Am not." Sparky's stuff nosed voice comes back as he flaps his wings causing the small cloud he sat on to disappear into wisp of white as he plants his boot covered hooves to the ground.
"OH ya? You couldn't even get a cloud down with your daddy." A sly smile comes over Bell's face as he continues to poke fun at the colt.
Sparky shakes his head to the words as he speaks back up, "So, those clouds are high."
Bell rolls his hoof as he turns to trot away, "Whatever, lets start...Remember seven steps back."
The light orange pegasus nods his head as he takes his steps back. Violet pauses for a moment before she follows after the colt and stands beside him.
Sparky turns his eyes to her as he speaks up, "If you get hit with a snowball you're out until the next game ok?"
Violet nods her head to the comment as she shifts her head back to the two colts that stand a little ways away.
"Ok on three." Futty's voice comes back as he looks between the four ponies. But his voice is stopped as Bell shakes his head, "No, its bad luck to start on an even number, lets go on two."
"One...Two!" The colt's count down is short as he quickly rushes his hooves to the snow of the ground as he tries to smash something together.
Bell's horn sparks up in a light pink glow as he turns his green eyes to the ground as a small ball starts to form slowly to the snow. Sparky follow's Futty's motions as he plunges his hooves to the snow covered ground with a slight childlike laugh.
Violet on the other hoof just stands a little confused as she looks between the three ponies, but her confusion is quickly brought to an end as a cold icy ball strikes against her unexpected face as her eyes go wide.
"HA, you're out!" Bell happily laughs as the colt next to him still tries to form something to his hooves.
Another snowball comes to Sparky as his face is pelted by the powdered projectile that Bell's magic sends forward.
Violet shakes the snow from her face as she looks over Sparky's snow covered face with a slight wheezing laugh.
Bell's girly laugh comes back as he playfully teases back to Sparky, "You ready for round two?"
He nods his head as he turns back to the light purple filly, "Come on Viowit, just make a snowball like Bwll."
Violet blinks to the comment as she thinks over his comment, she knows she's not supposed to use magic...but she doesn't really know another way to make a snowball.
Her thoughts are brought to an end though as the earth colt's voice comes back up, "Alright one...two, go!"
At the colt's voice Violet's horn reluctantly sparks up in a low blue as the slight bowl like curve comes over her head.
The pegasus beside her blinks a little confused to the magic, but he makes a snow ball and quickly tries to toss it towards one of the other two colts. Although he is the first to throw his lunging of his hoof only sends the ball a little ways forwards before it falls short of its targets.
Bell and Futty both give a slight laugh as they stop for a moment and look over the sorry excuse for a throw.
But the split second of pausing is enough to allow Violet's spell to complete as two perfectly rounded snowballs are sent flying towards the two colts, coating there faces with the unexpected magical toss.
There laughs stop as Violet's happy smile and Sparky's laugh come back to them.
Bell wipes the snow from his face as he blows to it, "Lucky throw."
The colt next to him licks to the snow as he gives a slight laugh, but his voice comes back as the next round starts up.
Violet's horn is quick to spark back up at the end of the colt's words as the curved magic above her head comes above her smiling face.
Bell's horn sparks up quick with a slight pop as he quickly creates a barely made ball that floats in front of him, but it works out as he sends it towards Violet.
The snowball's path is quick from the magic but Violet's horn sparks up in a slightly bright blue glow as the snow ball is stopped from her blue grasp and sent back towards the two colts with a quick speed hitting Bell in the face again coating him in snow. The second spell above her ends as another ball is sent towards Futty doing the same as last time.
Sparky lets out a slightly louder laugh as he looks over his two friends, Bell doesn't share the enthusiasm as he cocks his head, "No fair, she just throws mine back."
Violet holds her smile as she nods her head to the comment.
A laugh escapes the tan earth pony's mouth as he nudges Bell, "How come you don't do that?"
"Ya ya ya, start counting." Bell waves the comment off as he starts to glow his horn, Violet follows the colt's motion as she continues to hold her happy smile.
But the earth pony's count is brought to a halt as an annoying high pitched voice comes up from behind Violet, "Eww, what are you doing?" The group of filly's move to the middle of the spaced out ponies as they look between the four ponies.
"Awww, look now we got more fillies." Bell gives a slight groan as he rolls his eyes.
But to his words the pink filly that stands in the center of the group gives a slight laugh as she shakes her head, "Ha ha, you think she's a filly?" Her hoof comes to point at Violet as she continues, "Shes just another colt, dumb and weird."
Violet's ear flicks to the word as she continues to listen to the annoying pony's words.
But the filly's voice is cut off as Bell rolls his eyes again, "So what Pearl, at least she doesn't cry from a snow ball."
The pink filly tilts her head up as she laughs to the comment, "That's because she's weird and dumb like-..."Pearl's voice stops as her eyes go wide as a snowball hits against her face causing her to go silent.
Violet's horn loses it's low blue glow as the filly turns her head towards her, the filly's annoying voice has come back a little more high pitched as she stumbles over her words, "Y-you-y-you..." But her voice is stopped as she puts her head up in a puff and starts to trot away with the other few filly's following after her.
Bell lets out a laugh followed by Sparky and Futty as they look to Violet. But the filly doesn't really share in their happiness as she feels a little bad for what she did.
The light orange pegasus that stands closer to her notices her change in face as his stuff nosed voice comes up, "You shouldn't feel bawd Viowit, Pearl is a meany."
The blue unicorn across from her nods to the comment as he takes a step closer, "Hey, show me how to do that snowball catch."
Violet blinks to the two foal's words for a moment before she sparks her horn up and nods.
End of chapter 6
Chapter 7 – What's a Winter without simplicity?
A short speech...A short speech, you hold the other mares words to your mind with a completely dull face as you shiver a little to the cold weather as you shake the snow that's built up on your back. Which is almost amazing seeing as how the snow fall around the town centers is almost nothing.
But a glimmer of hope comes to you as you listen to the white mare's voice, "...And now to help show the unity Equestria has come to know." A warming smile comes from the white mare as she takes a step aside and the six mares behind her come forward.
You look over Twilight's expression with a smile, but that quickly changes as you watch her horn sparking up in loud magical chiming glow that's being amplified by the microphone still on stage.
The spell slowly climbs up the gold crown that sits on her head as the purple star begins to take on the bright glow itself. An unnerving feeling of uneasiness comes over you as you ready yourself to run to the stage if needed, but you just watch as the magic begins to slowly grow out to the other elements around the five other pony's necks. As the purple magic spreads from the crown it starts to become a white glowing color that begins to form around her friend’s elements.
Sparky and Futty both turn their heads towards the sound of the loud magic chiming but they can't see over or through the crowds in front of them enough to really see anything.
Violet and Bell don't take notice to the building magical chiming though as the colt continues to shake the snow from his face from yet another failed attempt at catching one of Violet's magically thrown snowballs.
The light purple filly doesn't have to say anything because at every failed attempt the colt continues to want to try again, and the small spell that the filly has kept using doesn't even bother her as she brings another snowball to herself.
"Alright this time for sure." The blue colt adjust his stance as he squints his eyes with his horn glowing a low but ready pink.
To the words Violet sends the next snowball towards him as her horn sparks up. As the rush of white powder comes to the colt he slightly closes his eyes as his horn reacts to his mind.
But unlike the other times the cool of ice doesn't hit him and he slowly opens his eyes to the snowball trapped just before his face, "Hey I did it, I DId it!" The colt's voice squeaks a little as he looks to the floating orb.
Sparky and Futty turn to the voice as they look to the colt, "You see you see I-..." A loud pop of resignation chime comes from the stage as a bright and elegant aura of light almost like a rainbow shoots over the sky of the area, but the loud sound sends the colt's spell into a spike as his fear takes hold for the quick second. The jagged and emotion driven pink bolt sticks against Violet and ends up knocking her back to the ground as her horn resonates the magic to her horn, the little filly's lip quivers a little as she closes her eyes and reaches her hooves to her head unable to cry.
The louder sound of the Elements of Harmony's spell blocks the sound of the events that happened only a few quick hooves away from you, and your mind doesn't really think to look over to the light purple filly as you still bask in the feel of the relief nothing bad happened from the element's.
Although your clueless bliss doesn't get to stay long as you get a sudden and burning feeling to turn your head, and as you do your heart drops and mind blanks as you look to your daughter laying to the snowy ground. Without even a breath your hooves start up in a gallop as you slightly push the stallion you stand next to a side.
Your sudden jarring of the stallion who still holds his gaze to the aura of magic above him comes to an end as he watches your gallop, which quickly sends him to follow you as he realizes where you're heading.
Your gallop comes to an end almost as soon as it started as you move your hooves around the filly to bring her to sit on her flank, your voice is a little shaky as you bend your head to her level, "W-what's wrong Violet?"
Volt moves towards the light orange pegasus as your voice comes back again to the little filly who has still yet to bring her hooves down from her head, her lips still quiver and her eyes are clenched tight.
The three colts around where you and Violet stand just look on silent as you continue, "Violet?"
As you start to calm a little down you finally start to notice her horn that still continues to spark the pink magic to it, but the color has started to change to a green tint as the little sparks of magic start to chime around her horn.
In a blink of an eye her horn has fully taken on a bright green glow as he horn's chiming becomes loud. Your feeling of being helpless continues to pound against you as you realize shes about to do a spell and you have no idea how to help through it.
But your actions nor words are needed as the spell to Violet's horn finishes, the bolt that stems from Violet's small horn is nothing that should even remotely have exited her horn as you watch and feel the large zapped screaming bolt of magic rush just pass your face and to the cloud above the town hall area.
As the bolt strikes the cloud cover a thunderous boom comes from above as the clouds are quickly pushed from the area with a ripple almost similar to a rain drop falling into water. The day's sun now pours completely into the area from the new pushed away cloud cover, but what causes the silent crowd around you to turn into a muttering conglomerate of voices is the now absent Element of Harmony rainbow.
"Violet!"
The cause for the absent light show comes next to you as the lavender mare comes next to and to the little filly that has now opened her eyes blue to a very tired half closed and her figure slightly leans a little weakened from her spell.
Twilight's hoof comes around the filly as she scoops here from the ground, Violet's size makes it a little hard to carry her with one hoof; but her tired looking eyes don't look like shes going to squirm.
Twilight's voice comes back as she begins to calm down a little, "Yes, s-she's just tired."
By this time the crowd that you've stood behind has now turned their attention to the scene as you and Twilight get ready to take Violet home. However your trot is stopped for a moment as your eyes meet another reason why your scene has become more important than the stage. The tall white mare looks between you and Twilight as she eventually turns her head to the cloudless sky above her, "It seems Violet has her own unique way of expelling her magic..."
The white mare's sweet smile comes back as she looks back to Twilight, "I do hope that I will be able to see Violet's ability to control it...when it comes time for her to be examined by Canterlot's Unicorn School."
Twilight's face shows her own slight worry for the filly but the words from the white mare has put a slight smile to her face as she nods her head. But even Celestia doesn't stop her trot as she turns back to you looks down to the filly still in her grasp, "Come on Violet lets get you home..."
You follow after the lavender mare as Celestia's voice comes back to the onlooking crowd still somehow able to hold her sweet and wise tone as she speaks up, "Come now everypony, Hearth Warming Eve's celebration has only just started..."
You lose your minds ability to fully understand Celestia's continued words as you look to Violet's still tired eyes.
End of chapter 7
Chapter 8 – Its a start...
The trip back to the library has held a steady quickish pace and with the door of the library coming to hooves reach you feel a slight sigh of relief coming from you, as your magic wraps to the door and brings it to open for the lavender mare that makes her way inside.
Twilight waste no time heading up the stairs as she makes her way up with you close behind, her trot comes to Violet's room at the end of the hallway as she turns into it with her horn glowing a light purple.
You stop your trot at the door's threshold as you watch the filly's bed being pulled back by Twilight's magic, her spell ends fast as her hooves come to move the little filly to the bed.
Violet's eyes open a little bit more as she looks around the room and begins to hoof something out, Twilight smiles to the motion as she brushes the filly's head, "I know its not night time, but you should take a little nap, ok?"
To the words the filly's true tiredness takes hold again as she nods her head and brings her head to lay on the pillow.
You and Twilight watch for a moment as her eyes close within the minute; a slight sigh comes from Twilight as she moves from the bed with her horn glowing a low purple glow. Her saddle starts to come undone a little as she moves back to where you are.
You move from the doorway as she starts into the hallway, "She alright?"
A nod comes from Twilight as she sighs again, "Yes, She's just tired from the spell and needs to rest for a little."
You breath a sigh of relief from her words as she starts to look you over, "Are you ok?"
A faint chuckle comes from you as you nod your head, "Ya, i'm fine."
As you two continue your trot a hoof comes to the door as your speed comes back a little fast, you come to the door. The door comes open to a familiar cyan pegasus as her tomboyish voice cuts yours off, "Wait you're alright? What happened then?"
You look over Rainbow's body for a second as you notice she's wearing everypony's element of harmony necklace. But your view of her is cut off as she comes into the room followed by Spike who looks to you with the same confusion Rainbow had.
Rainbow's voice continues to come in fast as she turns to Twilight, however to her own building words Rainbow's eyes widen, "Was it Violet?!"
Twilight waves her hoof to the comment as she talks in a lower voice, "Shes fine, it just looked like an over charged spell...most likely brought on by Violet unable to express her emotion..." A slightly sad stare comes over Twilight as she looks a little to the ground.
But her stare comes back to Rainbow as she snaps back to the world around her, "The elements! I completely forgot to get them before we left!"
Rainbow starts to move the necklaces from her self as she blows to the comment, "No sweat Twilight, I got everypony's right here, i'm just glad nothing bad happened I thought for sure Celestia leaving the stage meant something bad."
You nod your head to her as she lets out a slight laugh, "You trying to catch a cold?"
A slight smirk comes over your face as you ignore the comment, but your silence doesn't really stop Rainbow as she turns back to Twilight, "Hey, Twilight i'll stop by tomorrow , c-ya." The cyan mare gives you a nod as she turns back towards the door.
As Rainbow leaves the house Twilight cocks her head back to you as she holds a slightly unsure face, "D-did Celestia say Violet would be examined by Canterlot’s Unicorn school?"
You blink to her words as you nod your head, "Ya, why?"
A slight gigged smile comes over Twilight's face as she looks back to you.
"Whoa, no way?" Spike's voice comes back to the purple dragon as he rubs his claws together trying to take the chill off from his walk.
Twilight holds her new smile as she starts to walk into the main part of the library, but you don't follow the new happier tone as you hold your confusion, "Wait what's that?"
The lavender mare turns back to you as her almost giggly tone comes back, "It's Celestia's school for gifted unicorns."
You think over her tone as you look over her excited expression, but you still don't follow her change as you speak up in a bland tone, "Thats where you went right?"
Twilight dips behind the room's wall with her new found pride filled joy as Spike follows after her. You pause for a moment as you look to the empty view, "Twilight?"
The lavender mare appears in the doorway again floating a few books next to her as she talks up in her excited tone, "It's not like she has to go there now, its just to get into the school a foal has to pass a test before there to old."
You watch the books floating towards the table as you blink to her words, "Wait, we're going to talk about this first right?"
She shoots you a sweet smile as the books turn into a neatly stacked pile, "Of course will talk about it first."
You look over her pride filled expression and her new wide smile as you think, something tells me talking about it doesn't mean the same thing...But you bite your tongue a little too your thoughts as you move a little closer to the table, as Twilight's pride filled expression starts to become a little infectious.
