After almost killing five innocent civilians with an out of control tornado, Lightning Dust is in hot water, and she knows it.

Sptifire, the head of the Wonderbolt Academy, has decided that Lightning Dust must be punished for her recklessness. And when she gives Lightning Dust a choice between two punishments, the one Lightning Dust picks proves to be very unusual.

But perhaps Lightning Dust (with the help of Soarin) just might learn something from all of this. Not just about herself but also about her idol.
