19 years, 7 months, 14 days and 13 hours. It's been that long. Nothing much has actually changed. By this point, Corvo was at the equestrian deserts. He set up a camp there and was currently relaxing in a tent he made. The sun was still up, but would probably be down in a few hours. Life was getting tougher. He had no idea what has happened in Ponyville ever since he left.

But it was the least of his concern.

He packed up and stated moving. It truly was a nice sight near the desert and canyon. But right now he focused on getting to Appleloosa. Since he traveled Equestria, he tried to cover every part of the place. Or at least what was left of it.

Appleloosa was always known for it's peace and quiet. It also had one of the biggest apple orchards ever. But none of that is important so back to Corvo.

Corvo roamed the streets of the western city. It was a very nice place to visit. He even remembered when he was just a colt, his parents would bring him here. It's been the first time in over 30 years. The sun was nearly under the horizon. But, strangly... Corvo didn't pay attention to that like he always did. There was literally no noise. The old-fashion structures were very pale and dried out, but that didn't matter in the least bit. It felt like he was the only person there.

The dark stallion entered an old bar through a set of double doors. As he pushed them to the side, a bell on top made an audible 'ding'. Most tables were still intact, and though many shards of glass were on the stand and other furniture, light still came through the broken windows. It was almost dark though, so the scenery wouldn't last all that long.

"Alright, let's see what the bartender left in store", he thought to himself as he searched the cabinets. After finding nothing but a few dead bugs, he gave up."Well, nothing here so I should be go"... He was stopped by a sudden movement in the corner of his eye. Standing there, in front of the double doors was another pony. He was a male, had a grey coat and his mane was a very dim white. Both of them was standing there, shocked that one of them could kill the other. With fast spead, Corvo took out his crossbow from his saddlebag and aimed it at the other pony. This just made him go into even more shock and fear. This pony was very young. Probably only 12 years old. And he wasn't armed at all, only a saddlebag was with him with probably only a few things.

"P-Please don't". The colt asked with almost a whisper. Corvo wanted to just kill this colt quick, but he was hesitant. A moment of silence went across the two ponies for almost a minute before Corvo but his weapon back in his bag.

"Get out of here before I change my mind". The dark stallion said harshly before passing by the colt and Heading through the double doors to the night.

"W-Wait". The grey colt stated following Corvo."Listen, I just want to thank you".

"Stop following me". He simply responded.

"No wait. I just want to thank you for not killing me".

"Stop following me".

"Who are you. I thought most ponies didn't come here".

"That's none of your concern".

"My name's SilverTongue".

Corvo looked at the appearently annoying colt and realized that he didn't have his cutie mark yet."Listen kid, just go back to your parents or friends or someone. Trust mr, you'll injoy it more than being with me".

"It's just, we'll... Um, I don't really have anypony to go with. I've been alone for as l can remember". He said with a saddened tone and stopped. But once he realized the dark stallion was ignoring him and kept walking, he quickened his pace."but what's your name mister"?

"If it will happily make you go away, my name's Corvo".

"That's a cool name, by the way, what's your cutie mark? I can't see it with that saddlebag in the way". He said as he poked the hunter's saddlebag.

Corvo shook SilverTongue's hoof off."It's none of your business kid".

"You can just call me Silver if you want".

"Listen, Silver, What do you want"? He asked Silver as he stopped near a desert to set up a tent.

"Well I was just wondering if I could stay with you, I mean we're both alone".

"Hm, let me think". Corvo put on a sarcastic look before responding."No".

"B-But if you leave me out here then, then who knows what could happen"?

Corvo was done his tent, and as he laid his head down on a pillow he stole, he simply responded."Well good luck with that".

--

It was probably pass midnight by now. The hunter had trouble sleeping for some reason. Was it because of all the danger that crept outside and if he put his guard down for a second, he would be the next pony facing death. But that never really bothered him for all these years so... so what was it. He already told Silver to leave him hours ago. But that colt just found a rock to sleep on not to far away from him. It seems like that kid trusted Corvo. But why? Just because he didn't kill him. That was hardly an excuse to trust somepony now a days. So Corvo just pushed any negative thoughts away and tried to sleep.

"H-Hey, Corvo? A-Are you awake"? asked the grey colt as he poked Corvo in his sleep.

The dark stallion finally got some sleep only to be awoken by this kid. In frustration, Corvo knocked back Silver with a fore hoof, making the colt land on his back a few feet away from the hunter."Listen kid, get out of my face before I regret not not killing you". He said in a sleepy yet harsh tone.

"Oh um, I'm sorry. Just wanted to see if you were awake". He started walking out of the tent only to stop."Hey, I was just wondering? Where are you gonna go in the morning"?

The stallion was pretty uncomfortable, but he just sighed and got up."I'm gonna be heading West from here to Germaney".

"Really? So am i gonna be able to join because I was ju-"...

He was stopped as Corvo grabbed him by the neck."Oh, you can join. But keep being the little fucker you are and consider yourself dead". He then dropped Silver who backed away in fear.

"O-O-Ok-k-kay", he said still in fear that the one pony he wanted to follow nearly snapped his neck.

--

19 years, 7 months  , 14 days and 22 hours. By this point, Corvo and Silver were both travelling along the Equestrian Canyon. Only a couple of miles before they arrive in Germaney so they kept along the rocky path.

"Listen". Silver started."I'm sorry for being kinda annoying, I just wanted to know you and all". Corvo didn't responded but just kept walking."My mom was killed in action a few years ago against my dad. he was a really bad pony that tried to kill me. She tried protected me, but he ended up killing her. I managed to escape and I've been living alone ever since".

"Why did your dad try to kill you"? Corvo asked but more to pass the time instead of actually having interest.

"I really don't know. maybe because of the whole end-of-the-world thing that drove him insane". Silver started to realize that they were both travelling on a very narrow edge. And if you fell, that was death right there."Hey Corvo, How come were travelling in this spot? Isn't this a little dangerous"?

"I've done this many times so it shouldn't be a worry". He said with very little concern.

All of the sudden, a piece of the friction they were on broke right behind Corvo where Silver was. He slipped down at a nearly   ninety degree angle. But before he fell straight down, a dark green hoof caught his.

"H-Heeeeelp. Please pull me up"! It was hard to do that request since Corvo had very little ground to stand on and just moving a centimeter would cause them both to fall.

"Just hang on damn it"! Corvo responded as he tried to pull him up, only to remember that that was suicide.

"W-Wait! Why are you helping me if you wanted to get rid of me in the first place"?

"You don't seem all that bad now. But i'm not sure if this is gonna be your lucky day". With that, a piece of friction that Corvo was on broke off, forcing him to let go of Silver and grab on to the rocky walls.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh". That was all he heard as the screaming colt vanished into the dark abyss.

Corvo panted as he held on for his life."Fuck". He whispered under his breath.

--

After a few hours of unfortunate events, Corvo was out of the canyon and on the grass and dirt. Only about a mile away was Germaney. Or at least what was left of it.

"What a waste. To bad it didn't go well". He said under his breath as he walked to the city of Germaney. It was visible from the distance so it was easy to travel there. He was ready for any thing now, Ready to take on any other pony and do what ever it takes to survive.

--

Germaney has become a very ruthless place. It's sometimes dangerous at day but at night, it was suicide to wander the streets unarmed. To bad if had to come to this. Before the virus had happened, Germaney wasn't very liked, since many soldiers were killers of war against the griffons. In the past, that place was a dictatorship and it caused one hell of a pony war. But still, that was only minor if you compare it to now. Sad sights and sad truths, those are the things that can start something like this.
