//-------------------------------------------------------// The Last of Equestria -by SpitFlame- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 19 years, 7 months, 11 days and 23 hours. Corvo by this point has gotten to Canterlot. It was almost dark by the time he reached the main gates."Canterlot", the dark stallion thought to himself with saddened eyes."Haven't been here in years. Looks so different but... so quiet". He rotated his dead eyes around the scenery. Noticing that the majestic buildings were covered in vines. Trees grew on almost every part of the streets. Shops were either empty with broken windows or destroy and reduced to piles of rubble. In the distance, he saw what he was looking for, "Canterlot Castle". Many of the towers coming from the castle were broken off and some covered in greenery."Well, better get moving". While walking down the streets of Canterlot to reach the castle, Corvo took his time and witnessed every structure he could see. After about an hour of walking through the city, it was dark. And since all the street lights were broken, it was hard to see. When he was close, he noticed something that made him freeze for a second. Two other survivors were coming around a corner and Corvo could hear their hoofsteps. As always he quickly ran inside vine infested building and stayed quiet. He peeked out a window and saw who was coming. One was a mare and the other a stallion and they were both pegasi. As they came closer, he could make out what they were saying. "Why are we here and not Clousdale? I hear there are some survivors down there, we can totally loot them", said the mare. Look sis, were here to get to the castle. The princesses used to live here so maybe they have some goodies". "Fuck you", the mare told her brother in a playful tone while lightly punching him on the shoulder. The two pegasi walked right pass Corvo without noticing him. The dark stallion slowly drew his crossbow from his saddlebag and very carefully loaded an arrow in the centre. Pulling the string back till it made an small click. "So, should we go to Ponyville now that w"... His voice was cut short as he felt a very sharp pain in his lungs. He moved his face which was pale white by now to see what was causing the pain. An arrow went right threw his lungs, cutting out his breathing organ. He made small gagging noises and fell the the ground creating a pile of blood as his sister watched in both horror and shock. "No no no no no no, please Silverwing stay with me. Please.. please don't". The mare started to tear up and in seconds, she was sobbing at the lost of her brother. "L-L-Lis-Listen sis". The mare's brother started but was having trouble speaking."Stay away from other ponies a-a-and, go to Ponyville and find shelter there". And with that, he went silent. The mare was silent, just staring down at her brother "Silverwing" who was dead cold."Who the FUCK did that, show yourself", she started screaming behind her which was the same direction that the arrow came from. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck", the angered mare started to swear under her breath as she slowly walked up the street where the killer was hiding. "One down, one to go", Corvo thought to himself as he reloaded another arrow in his crossbow. And with that, he drew out of cover and was now standing right in front of the mare. They were both silent. The mare looked at Corvo in shock as she witnessed the lethal weapon that was pointing straight at her. "Please don't", she asked the dark figure in a quiet tone. But it was too late, Corvo pulled the trigger and in a heartbeat the arrow was through the mare's forehead. She then dropped dead and creating another mess of blood on the floor. Corvo was silent with a blank expression on his face, just taking in the thought that he killed to ponies that were brother and sister. For a moment he felt guilt and grief, but that went away as he remembered how evil this world was now. He looted both of the dead ponies and found: Some knifes, fruits and bread, a map of Equestria, some medical pills and bandages. After what seemed like an eternity of standing still, he finally whispered to himself saying "I'm sorry". Corvo then continued his journey into the castle. The huge front double doors were no where to be seen. Maybe they were destroyed or removed but now, now it was just a giant opening and it seemed like any pony with legs could simply walk in, take what they want and be off. Corvo wandered pass the royal halls. All the stain glass windows that once meant something in Equestria, were now all broken and shattered to pieces. What a sad sight to witness, and if only princess Celestia were still alive. Not knowing what to do, he picked up his paced and in minutes found himself in the royal throne room. Just staring at the gigantic throne, covered with dirt and empty.. it was just sad. He walked up to the decaying throne only to stop and noticed something odd. As he got closer, whenever he stepped on the floor it made a familiar noise. He then noticed that the floor was indeed hallow. His eyes scanned the floor all around the throne and found a small golden handle. He slowly pulled on it, only to revile a trapdoor with some stairs leading down. At first he wasn't going to go down with the fear that maybe there were other survivors or traps down there. But then he heard some other hoofsteps coming from the castle halls nearby. "Shit, not now", Corvo said under his breath. So he made his way down the stairs and making sure to close the trapdoor behind him. He slowly walked down the stairs and with every step he caused an audible creak. He found a door and opened it. Inside was a room with some cob webs, some put out candle, a table and chair... a chair... a chair with a pony on it. Corvo in a hurry quickly pulled out his crossbow and pointed it at the mysterious pony. The pony quickly turned around, reviling who it was. "P-Princess Luna", corvo was shocked by what he was seeing. Everypony said that all the rulers in Equestria were dead. Nowhere to be seen but now... he had found the princess of the night hiding from the outside world and in a bunker under Celestia's throne room. Luna was wearing a ragged cloth with a hood. She then got off her chair and walked up to Corvo with little to no fear that he was pointing an arrow at her. "Who are you traveller and why are you in my sister's castle". Luna had a cold stare. Corvo quickly put his crossbow away and started speaking."Princess Luna? I thought you were dead. How are you still here". Luna's expression went from cold to sad."Ever since my sister was killed by the...the virus, i've been hiding here. Not wanting to bring too much attention. But why are you here and what do you seek"? "I just explore Equestria hoping to find anything useful to help me live. By the way, my name is Corvo". "Well Corvo, i can provide you with some supplies. But you must leave now. I'm sorry it has to be this way", Luna then took a breath."If you go to the Crystal Empire you may be able to find somethings that you seek. But be warned that many ponies travel there and many die". And with that, she gave Corvo an enchanted dagger and sheathed it away in a leather case. "This dagger is very dangerous,, a single cut will cause a pony to die within seconds". She then gave it to Corvo who put it away in his saddlebag. "Why are you helping me"? asked Corvo with a curious glare. "Because you have found me and... and i see good in your heart". "How can i be good if i killed so many ponies in the past", He thought to himself as he was about to leave."Oh yeah, i have found Twilight Sparkle. She's in her tree back in Ponyville. Luna gave Corvo a saddened stare."Tell her to be careful". After a few seconds of being silent, Corvo took off. Thinking what was at the Crystal Empire that Luna told him. The other ponies he heard in the castle earlier were gone now, and he was alone for the time being. By the time he had gotten back to Ponyville, it was dawn. He went back to the oak tree where Twilight was as he promised to be back. He knocked on the door and when it opened, the lavender alicorn was in front of him. "Oh, hey Corvo, your back. Did you find anything there"? Corvo just simply walked in and leaving the alicorn in confusion in why he didn't respond. After a moment of silence, he started. "I found Princess Luna". "Princess Luna"!!!!! Twilight was both shocked that she was still alive and happy that she was... well, still alive."Really you found her? Oh my gosh i can't believe it, i thought she was dead and"... The purple pony went silent for a moment and her eyes softened."Well that's it". "She told you to be careful and...that i'm going to the Crystal Empire. By the way, what were you doing here while i was gone"? "Just reading some old books, nothing new", she then walked back to her table where she was reading. "I guess i could stay here one more night before i go". "That'll be nice", said Twilight with a sad and soft tone."I just wish this never happened and that Equestria still lived in harmony". She then looked at her shelf and on it was her element of magic. "Maybe one day". And with that they both went to bed. The buildings stayed demolished. Grief was among every pony left in Equestria and... a sight that would never rest till everypony was probably dead. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 19 years, 7 months, 12 days and 2 hours. It's been that long. Corvo was now travelling up Mount Everfree. A cold and gloomy mountain only climbed by few ponies. Probably because it was so cold. Corvo was wearing a thick fur coat, leather boots, a black wool scarf and a pare of snow goggles. He was about half way there. He was sure he was alone on the mountain, or at least he hoped so. This whole time, a blizzard was bashing hard and Corvo felt his legs getting weak. He was on the side of a snowy yet rocky ledge. He tried to look up and see the top of the giant rock structure but the white blizzard was too thick to see through, and with that he kept moving. As he took a step forward, the rock he stepped on broke loose and fell to it's doom. He cursed under his breath that he almost had the same fate as that rock. After what seemed like an hour of carefully walking up on a ledge, Corvo reached a stop. There was a big gap about 4 meters apart from an ice wall. He took out his pickaxe and braced himself."Well, let's see if this thing is steady". With one quick breath, he jumped across and stabbed his sharp tool against the slippery wall. It went through with an audible crack, and Corvo grabbed the pickaxe with both of his hooves hoping not to fall. He could see the ice cracking. Panicking, he quickly pulled himself upwards and onto the opposite ledge. But apparently, his tool did not make it and ended up falling like that rock from last time. Probably due to the fact that the heavy survivor put his weight on the pickaxe for a boost, thus breaking it off the wall. After what seemed like an eternity of climbing, Corvo made it to the top. He looked around to witness the scenery."Only snow and ice here. Better set up a camp and continue in the morning". It was getting very dark with only a dull light left in the sky. He was going to set up a tent he borrowed from Twilight until he noticed the temperature. It was cold, very cold. He was sure to freeze to death in hours if he stayed on top of the dead rocky structure. With a depressing sigh, the survivor continued walking only to be stopped by an enormous hill. A very steep snowy hill that led stray down to some untouched flat land."Well fuck, better slide down". He then jumped down and started sliding on the flat snow. Something about this was kinda... enjoyable. But that was easily taken away when he stumbled and started rolling down against his will."Damn it, fuck, ow, son of a bitch", That was all he said while falling down. After minutes of stumbling, Corvo made it to the bottom in pain."God damn it, why does gravity have to be such a dick". He said to himself while he picked himself back up. In the distance of the blizzard, Corvo saw what appeared to be a train station. He quickly galloped to the ruined train station only to find that there were no train tracks. Or maybe they were covered in the snow. He walked passed it, seeing that nothing was there. And then he saw it. The Crystal Empire less than a  mile away. But, something... something was off. It was indeed the Crystal Empire but nothing more than a colourless city with some buildings demolished, everything covered in snow and the lakes were frozen. While arriving there, he saw nopony around. Just a frozen city. It even looked worse then when King Sombra was here. That's when he heard a very slow creaking."What the fuuuu-". He was stopped when something wrapped around his left hind leg and pulled him upwards. Corvo found himself dangling upside down by a rope. Obviously some kind of trap other survivors put there. "Hey, we caught one". said a mysterious voice from behind him who was probably male due to his voice. "Well what are you waiting for, loot him and see what he has". said yet another voice but this one happened to be female. "This little fucker picked a wrong time to come here". said a third pony. But this voice was much deeper than the last two. Corvo could feel other hooves ripping off his saddle bag and begin to loot them. "Not a lot of stuff but it will do", said the female voice as she searched through his stuff. Corvo tried to struggle and cut the ropes only to be stopped by the third pony's deep voice. "Hey you, quit moving and if your lucky, we might let you live". The first pony Corvo heard walked up to him and stopped him from moving. "You little pricks never learn when to not mess with other survivors. Where ever you came from, you can kiss that place goodbye cause your not leaving this area". "Listen". Corvo started and hoping to maybe persuade the other survivors."If you release me and give me back my stuff, i will spare your lives". The other pony in front of him almost laughed."Hah, what the fuck are you gon-". He was cut short as Corvo quickly pulled a knife from the other pony's boot and stabbed him through the throat. Blood gushed out as Corvo pulled the knife out and cut the ropes attached to his leg. Corvo fell on his back but quickly got back up on his hooves. As soon as the other two ponies noticed that their friend was dead, he through the knife straight across him and stabbing the mare in the chest, piercing her heart. She fell to the ground dead and now only one pony remained. "You motherFUCKER, you killed them. You are FUUUUUCKED". The angered pony took out the crossbow he looted from the stolen saddlebag and pointed it at Corvo who was now running straight towards him screaming. The stallion shot the arrow right though Corvo's foreleg which had lots of blood coming out of it. But that didn't stop the determined survivor. He kept running, completely ignoring the horrible pain he was experiencing. With a loud grunt, Corvo jumped on top of the stallion, knocking him over. In less than a second he hit his foreleg (which had the arrow sticking out of it) straight through the stallion's temple and killing him instantly. Corvo got off the dead pony and tried to stand up but fell. He panted heavily as he just killed three ponies in 10 seconds and his leg was now purple with a lot of blood he lost. "F-F-F-Fuck, F-F-Fuck, F-Fuck, Fffffuck". Corvo stuttered to him self as he was probably going to die in minutes due to blood trauma. He dragged himself towards the dead ponies with ever step giving him a shock of pain. He looted all of their stuff. And they did have some useful weaponry, food and medical supplies. Corvo wrapped medical cloth around his injured leg which stopped some of the bleeding. He found a needle with a green liquid inside and on it's side, it said "Stops blood loss". Without thinking, he stabbed the needle in his leg and watched the green substance go inside him. He pulled the needle out grunting in pain and in mere seconds, he no longer felt light headed and the bleeding stopped. Corvo let out a satisfied moan as he fell to the ground."I'm never doing that again". He looked ahead of him and where he thought he would see the crystal castle, he just saw smoke and a bunch of rubble. He closed his eyes to rest and actually fell asleep. He woke up and found himself on something soft. He looked around but his blurry eyes limited his sight. After some seconds of looking, he was able to see better and realized he was no longer on the cold, stone floor he had fell asleep on before. Instead he was on a bed. It was midnight blue with some scratches on it but soft enough for sleep. Corvo took notice of his surroundings. Wooden walls with few shelves here and there containing supplies and other tools. A single light bulb was in the center and had the energy to lighten the small room he was in. He saw in front of the bed he was on, there was a cardboard box with his saddlebag, weapons, food and other useful supplies. The confused survivor only now took notice of another figure standing right beside him. This other mysterious figure was dark colored, had a hood and cape made of cloth around it's body. As Corvo rubbed his eyes, he remembered seeing the familiar pony, or alicorn before. "Greetings to you sir Corvo. You are lucky that i came just in time to save you". Luna was talking while levitating his stuff with her magic. "H-How did you know i was in trouble? And when did you get there? How long was i out for?", the confused stallion assaulted the night princess with questions while getting up, only to start feeling pain."Where am I?" "I did sence that you were going to be in danger, and after you said your next destination was the Crysal Empire, I thought you might need some assistance. Oh and yes, you are in Ponyville in a secret bunker. I did meet Twilight Sparkle after what you told me and..." Luna paused for a moment and gave Corvo a sad expression." And I came." Corvo by this point, was almost fully healed with some special medical cloth wrapped around his injury with few bandages around his other legs and head."Where's Twilight?" Luna couldn't help but smile a bit."The Golden Oaks Library is just a few blocks from here. I can take you there if you would like". Then the night princess gave a teasing grin."So you care about her well being"? Corvo scanned the room to find the way out and found a dusty wooden door which was slightly open."Just wanted to know", Corvo said as he got up to go out the only door. His legs were still weak but he managed to walk properly. "I'll be here if you need me". As Corvo went through the door he found himself through a tunnel. At the end was another wooden door. He made his way through that and found himself in a house. Everything around him was trashed and dirty. He must have been in a kitchen since there was a sink. As he walked passed from room to room and noticed all the broken windows, he noticed that it was day time. He found himself outside, witnessing the sight in front of him. Buildings still sagged and plant life every where he looked. "Still the same". He thought to himself as he kept walking. Then in the distance, he saw Twilight sitting on a bench. Her back was turned so she couldn't see him. So Corvo walked up to the bench, to Twilight. He placed a hoof on her left shoulder and started speaking silently. "Hey". That was all he said which brought her to full attention. Corvo Your Back!!!! Twilight then tried to hug him, only to be stopped by his hoof."Don't think I fully trust you yet". He said with a cold tone which later softened. "Oh um, thanks for bringing Princess Luna here". She said with a quiet yet happy tone in her voice. "I'm gonna go hunting for food, and I'm assuming you'll be back at the library". Twilight only nodded. As he started walking to the woods, Twilight's voice stopped him. "Thank you. For being here". Her head was down while she spoke but obviously glad. "Don't mention it". He only spoke with a flat yet reasonable expression before he kept moving. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 19 years, 7 months, 12 days and 11 hours. By this point, Corvo was out hunting. A big tropical like forest could be found just a few blocks away from Ponyville. Many trees would block the bright sunlight from touching the ground. It was very wet with many lakes and ponds scattered around the leafy area. Many wild animals like bunnies, deers, bears, reptiles and fish could be found. Ever since the animal caretaker "Fluttershy" died, every animal would now steal from other survivors and become more ruthless. Corvo was crouched behind a bush. Obviously hiding so the animals couldn't see him. His crossbow only had one arrow left so his shot had to count. He was looking at a deer just a few meters away from the bush he was hiding in. The hunter was very quiet so he wouldn't scare the deer away. Ever since the virus came in, almost everypony who lived started eating meat. Since finding vegetables and fruits were pretty difficult, meat was the really the only option. The downfall to this was that some ponies became cannibals and would eat other survivors. He held his crossbow in place, pointing at the deer and ready to kill it. His hoof was on the trigger and ready to put an arrow through that deer's skull. Unfortunately, some other bunny came up behind Corvo. It made a noise which scared the deer so it started running. With quick reflex, the dark stallion pulled the trigger and hoped to kill his prize. But the arrow missed and ended up going through a tree. The bunny that caused this also got scared and ran away into it's home which was a hole in the dirt. "Damn it". Corvo said under his breath, clearly frustrated that he got no food. His only other option was fish. he took out his double edged chrome knife and walked through the green area, trying to find a lake. After a few minutes of searching, Corvo found an enormous lake. He watch as giant fish leaped out of the water only to fall back in. These fish were about one full meter long. He slowly made his way to the lake and jumped in while holding his knife. To his surprise, instead of it being hallow at first like a beach, he fell straight in the deep water. Many fish were scattered around the water, making it easy to hunt. He took a deep breath and went under water. Many fish were passing him as he tried to slash one. After a few attempts, he realized that he needed air so he went back to the surface. "I'm gonna get one of these". Corvo said as he took another deep breath and went back down to the fish. He saw a big one about to pass by and wouldn't waste the chance on catching it so with one swing, he stabbed the fish right in the gills, making it squirm in pain. He wrapped both of his hooves around the fish as he kept stabbing it."Hold the fuck still you stupid fish". he thought to himself. He through the fish back to the surface. And there it was, dead. He wrapped a leather strap around it and carried the giant fish on his back."Well that took forever, time to head back". -- "Corvo your back already". Twilight yelled at Corvo from a distance as she saw his coming up from the forest. As he got closer, she noticed the big fish attached to his back."Woah, you weren't kidding when you said you would hunt for food. And it only took you 20 minutes". Twilight said with a teasing grin. "Yeah, keep laughing Twilight". The dark hunter said sarcastically and some what annoyed. Anyways, I thought this fish would do us good for today. You do eat meat right"? He asked with a bit of concern in his voice. "Yes... I do". the lavender unicorn said with a rather saddened tone. "You alright Twilight"? "Yeah i'm fine. It's just that, well... I've never really eaten any meat before the virus. Back then, eating meat was considered doing something wrong". "I know how it was back then. Too bad it had to turn out this way. By the way, are you immortal since that your an alicorn"? Twilight gave Corvo a smile, happy with the answer she was about to say."Not really. I just age a bit slower i guess. Thank Celestia for that". But just bringing up her mentor's name made her heart ache. She lowered her head, a very depressed expression on her face. "Hey, it's alright". Corvo said as he put o hoof around the sad alicorn's neck."You're just gonna live your life and all this will be over before you know it". Just hearing those words gave Twilight a bit of hope. She was still sad but defiantly became more satisfied."Now let's go and get cooking this big fish and eat it. It's pretty heavy so I can't hold it forever". That last joke made both of them chuckle a bit. After that, they both went to Twilight's kitchen to get their food ready. -- By this point, both of them had eaten the entire fish due to their appetite and now were resting in the living room. It was by this point that Corvo had finally started to take notice of Twilight's horn. "So about you're horn". Corvo started."How did this all happen and how come you can't fly"? "You see, this magical virus that came out of nowhere caused almost all magical horns of unicorn's to be disabled. I've been reading a lot about how to regain one's magic back but only found out about some potion. And the reason I can't fly is because I never learned to. I only got my wings one month before the virus". Corvo ignored the last part and took focus on the potion she mentioned."And what about this potion you're talking about. How do you make it and what does it do"? "I've read that some potion made from these flowers called "Daisy Fear's" found in the Everfree forest could make it. But I don't know if it would even work". Corvo thought for a second and came up with an idea."What if I found these flowers for you and in return, you could make all the gear and supplies I would normally need". Twilight also thought for a second and also came up with an idea"Well, considering that I would get my magic back... Deal". She said hoping that something would work out in the end. At that moment, Luna came in the room."Greetings Corvo and Twilight". Luna announced herself as she took a seat on the couch where the two ponies were sitting."I here you are looking for the "Daisy Fear" flower"? "You know where they are"? Corvo stared before any other pony could say a word. Luna only nodded."They are in the north end of the Everfree forest. But if you are planning on getting this plant, you better be well prepared for many dangers could await in the north". This time Twilight interrupted."But Princess, you still have your magic, so can't you use a spell or something to get my magic back"? "It is true that I have my magic for only immortals kept their magic after the virus. But only this potion you speak of can help you". "Well then". Corvo started while he got up from the slightly ripped up couch."I will be back soon with that flower. All you need is the flower and some other supplies you already have to make that flower right"? Twilight nodded shyly. "I don't know if you should do this Corvo. I mean going through the Everfree forest is dangerous. And also"... "Hey listen". The stallion interrupted the lavender alicorn."As long as you give me those goods, I'll go into those woods". Twilight couldn't help but giggle at that last rhyme which only made Corvo roll his eyes. -- "I'm back". The hunters voice came through the door as it opened. "Oh hey Corvo you're baaaaa, WHOA. As he entered the room, Twilight got a good look at him. His mane was all out of place and he had some scratches and bruises on his dark green coat. But he was actually caring a small leather pouch in his mouth and as he spat it out, a large yellow, spiky flower fell to the ground. "Sorry, I just got attacked by a few timber wolves, It's really no big deal". Twilight couldn't help but feel a bit of guilt, but other than that, she was pretty happy."Alright Corvo, a deal is a deal so here are some useful equipment me and Princess Luna worked on". She held in front of him, a brown leather case with the following: a unique metal crossbow with a circular device in the middle which was quick for reloading, two razor sharp killing knifes along with a hook blade, enchanted flaming arrows along with regular iron tipped arrows with Lot's of string for long distance pulling or swinging, five small healing potions and very powerful steel like cape and vest. Corvo's jaw hit the floor."Whoa, with all these new supplies, I'm sure to do well on my trip. Thanks Twilight". Twilight was going to say thank you until she just heard what he said."Wait, you're leaving"? She asked in both disbelief and shock."But- But- But w-why? I thought you were gonna stay here a-and just"... She was cut short as a hoof touched her mouth."I never trust anypony Twilight. My original plan was to kill you and loot your house, but since you did me a favor... I will let you live for now". he realized hoe flatly he said that so he spoke again, only this time his tone softened."Listen, you and I both know very well that Equestria is not what it is anymore. We do not trust any one ore any thing for the passed couple of years now. If you truly want to know where i'll be heading, I'm going to the Equestrian deserts and canyon where that town "Appleloosa is located. But if I were you, i would not follow me". After that, all he did was take his stuff, attach it to his saddlebag and began walking down the door. Twilight started to get tearing and soon stated crying. Corvo stated speaking."Never go by your useless rules unless you want to die". He stated very coldly. And with that, he was gone. "I guess you're right". Twilight whispered to herself in a very depressing tone. And after a few moments, darkness fell upon the sky. -- The dusty air blew in the Equestrian deserts, with many wild buffaloes still left alive and blood thirsty survivors who await the boundaries, Saddening tragedy was sure to come sooner or later! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 19 years, 7 months, 14 days and 13 hours. It's been that long. Nothing much has actually changed. By this point, Corvo was at the equestrian deserts. He set up a camp there and was currently relaxing in a tent he made. The sun was still up, but would probably be down in a few hours. Life was getting tougher. He had no idea what has happened in Ponyville ever since he left. But it was the least of his concern. He packed up and stated moving. It truly was a nice sight near the desert and canyon. But right now he focused on getting to Appleloosa. Since he traveled Equestria, he tried to cover every part of the place. Or at least what was left of it. Appleloosa was always known for it's peace and quiet. It also had one of the biggest apple orchards ever. But none of that is important so back to Corvo. Corvo roamed the streets of the western city. It was a very nice place to visit. He even remembered when he was just a colt, his parents would bring him here. It's been the first time in over 30 years. The sun was nearly under the horizon. But, strangly... Corvo didn't pay attention to that like he always did. There was literally no noise. The old-fashion structures were very pale and dried out, but that didn't matter in the least bit. It felt like he was the only person there. The dark stallion entered an old bar through a set of double doors. As he pushed them to the side, a bell on top made an audible 'ding'. Most tables were still intact, and though many shards of glass were on the stand and other furniture, light still came through the broken windows. It was almost dark though, so the scenery wouldn't last all that long. "Alright, let's see what the bartender left in store", he thought to himself as he searched the cabinets. After finding nothing but a few dead bugs, he gave up."Well, nothing here so I should be go"... He was stopped by a sudden movement in the corner of his eye. Standing there, in front of the double doors was another pony. He was a male, had a grey coat and his mane was a very dim white. Both of them was standing there, shocked that one of them could kill the other. With fast spead, Corvo took out his crossbow from his saddlebag and aimed it at the other pony. This just made him go into even more shock and fear. This pony was very young. Probably only 12 years old. And he wasn't armed at all, only a saddlebag was with him with probably only a few things. "P-Please don't". The colt asked with almost a whisper. Corvo wanted to just kill this colt quick, but he was hesitant. A moment of silence went across the two ponies for almost a minute before Corvo but his weapon back in his bag. "Get out of here before I change my mind". The dark stallion said harshly before passing by the colt and Heading through the double doors to the night. "W-Wait". The grey colt stated following Corvo."Listen, I just want to thank you". "Stop following me". He simply responded. "No wait. I just want to thank you for not killing me". "Stop following me". "Who are you. I thought most ponies didn't come here". "That's none of your concern". "My name's SilverTongue". Corvo looked at the appearently annoying colt and realized that he didn't have his cutie mark yet."Listen kid, just go back to your parents or friends or someone. Trust mr, you'll injoy it more than being with me". "It's just, we'll... Um, I don't really have anypony to go with. I've been alone for as l can remember". He said with a saddened tone and stopped. But once he realized the dark stallion was ignoring him and kept walking, he quickened his pace."but what's your name mister"? "If it will happily make you go away, my name's Corvo". "That's a cool name, by the way, what's your cutie mark? I can't see it with that saddlebag in the way". He said as he poked the hunter's saddlebag. Corvo shook SilverTongue's hoof off."It's none of your business kid". "You can just call me Silver if you want". "Listen, Silver, What do you want"? He asked Silver as he stopped near a desert to set up a tent. "Well I was just wondering if I could stay with you, I mean we're both alone". "Hm, let me think". Corvo put on a sarcastic look before responding."No". "B-But if you leave me out here then, then who knows what could happen"? Corvo was done his tent, and as he laid his head down on a pillow he stole, he simply responded."Well good luck with that". -- It was probably pass midnight by now. The hunter had trouble sleeping for some reason. Was it because of all the danger that crept outside and if he put his guard down for a second, he would be the next pony facing death. But that never really bothered him for all these years so... so what was it. He already told Silver to leave him hours ago. But that colt just found a rock to sleep on not to far away from him. It seems like that kid trusted Corvo. But why? Just because he didn't kill him. That was hardly an excuse to trust somepony now a days. So Corvo just pushed any negative thoughts away and tried to sleep. "H-Hey, Corvo? A-Are you awake"? asked the grey colt as he poked Corvo in his sleep. The dark stallion finally got some sleep only to be awoken by this kid. In frustration, Corvo knocked back Silver with a fore hoof, making the colt land on his back a few feet away from the hunter."Listen kid, get out of my face before I regret not not killing you". He said in a sleepy yet harsh tone. "Oh um, I'm sorry. Just wanted to see if you were awake". He started walking out of the tent only to stop."Hey, I was just wondering? Where are you gonna go in the morning"? The stallion was pretty uncomfortable, but he just sighed and got up."I'm gonna be heading West from here to Germaney". "Really? So am i gonna be able to join because I was ju-"... He was stopped as Corvo grabbed him by the neck."Oh, you can join. But keep being the little fucker you are and consider yourself dead". He then dropped Silver who backed away in fear. "O-O-Ok-k-kay", he said still in fear that the one pony he wanted to follow nearly snapped his neck. -- 19 years, 7 months  , 14 days and 22 hours. By this point, Corvo and Silver were both travelling along the Equestrian Canyon. Only a couple of miles before they arrive in Germaney so they kept along the rocky path. "Listen". Silver started."I'm sorry for being kinda annoying, I just wanted to know you and all". Corvo didn't responded but just kept walking."My mom was killed in action a few years ago against my dad. he was a really bad pony that tried to kill me. She tried protected me, but he ended up killing her. I managed to escape and I've been living alone ever since". "Why did your dad try to kill you"? Corvo asked but more to pass the time instead of actually having interest. "I really don't know. maybe because of the whole end-of-the-world thing that drove him insane". Silver started to realize that they were both travelling on a very narrow edge. And if you fell, that was death right there."Hey Corvo, How come were travelling in this spot? Isn't this a little dangerous"? "I've done this many times so it shouldn't be a worry". He said with very little concern. All of the sudden, a piece of the friction they were on broke right behind Corvo where Silver was. He slipped down at a nearly   ninety degree angle. But before he fell straight down, a dark green hoof caught his. "H-Heeeeelp. Please pull me up"! It was hard to do that request since Corvo had very little ground to stand on and just moving a centimeter would cause them both to fall. "Just hang on damn it"! Corvo responded as he tried to pull him up, only to remember that that was suicide. "W-Wait! Why are you helping me if you wanted to get rid of me in the first place"? "You don't seem all that bad now. But i'm not sure if this is gonna be your lucky day". With that, a piece of friction that Corvo was on broke off, forcing him to let go of Silver and grab on to the rocky walls. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh". That was all he heard as the screaming colt vanished into the dark abyss. Corvo panted as he held on for his life."Fuck". He whispered under his breath. -- After a few hours of unfortunate events, Corvo was out of the canyon and on the grass and dirt. Only about a mile away was Germaney. Or at least what was left of it. "What a waste. To bad it didn't go well". He said under his breath as he walked to the city of Germaney. It was visible from the distance so it was easy to travel there. He was ready for any thing now, Ready to take on any other pony and do what ever it takes to survive. -- Germaney has become a very ruthless place. It's sometimes dangerous at day but at night, it was suicide to wander the streets unarmed. To bad if had to come to this. Before the virus had happened, Germaney wasn't very liked, since many soldiers were killers of war against the griffons. In the past, that place was a dictatorship and it caused one hell of a pony war. But still, that was only minor if you compare it to now. Sad sights and sad truths, those are the things that can start something like this. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 19 years, 7 months, 10 days, 14 hours and counting. Equestria has been in grief for 19 years. It's hard to imagine it like this. A vicious magical virus has spread across Equestria and reducing it's population to only a couple of thousands. Animals are wild and cruel ever since the animal caretakers have died. Trust is no longer a good think. That sort of crap is good for one thing only... Getting you killed! It truly is a sad sight to see. But then again it's the only sight to see. Tall grass, moss and trees litter the once beautiful sight known as Equestria. Celestia has died and... Well, all the rulers and high council are no longer breathing. It's dark when it's night and grim when it's day. All law is nothing but a thought. A thought that was left behind in the past and now it's over. The ponies now are not like the ponies over 20 years ago. Those who are young will never know what Equestria was like before grief has washed over. The air is dusty and polluted. Most buildings in Canterlot are leaning against each other. Many things are gone and with everything looking like the Everfree forest, it's just lonely. It was almost dark by now. Corvo was one of the survivors left in Equestria. His daughter was killed by the royal guards 19 years ago. Ever since that virus, that fucking virus came. He lost what was precious to him. Corvo closed his eyes while leaning against an old infected building." What am I doing here. I should have been in Ponyville 4 days ago. Fucking flood slowed me down and now... Now I'm in Manehatten"." Better get moving",he thought to himself before firmly attaching his saddlebags to his dark green coat. " What do I have left", Corvo whispered to himself while checking the saddlebags which were on his back." Some cloth, a knife, a small wooden crossbow, 4 arrows and pieces of apples in a can". Corvo licked his lips. His sharp teeth brushed against his skin." Water", he thought to himself as if he were disappointed." I still have not gotten any water. But rivers are 7 miles west from here. Corvo lightly shook his head." I guess I'll move tomorrow. He scratched his dark mane and about to find shelter in one of the still standing buildings. That is until he heard footsteps. The crunchy sound of hooves carefully walking on the rubble." Shit", Corvo thought to himself." Another survivor"! He quickly took cover behind the piles of bricks and rocks." I wonder what this son of a bitch has. The other survivor was walking throughout the partially destroyed streets of Manehatten. He was approaching Corvo who was at this point, dead silent. But so much for luck, Corvo stepped on a stick which made a very small 'snap'. " Who the fuck is there", yelled the misfortunate survivor. With a heartbeat, Corvo yelled while going out of cover and jabbing his knife straight through the other pony's neck. The knife went straight through his throat and he landed on the floor with a small thud. The other survivor was gagging uncontrollably while hot blood leaked out of his throat. Some of which squirted on Corvo's face . " Stay the fuck still", said Corvo to the pony's face while he was spasming out. Seconds later and the pony went silent with a knife through his throat. Corvo panted heavily from what he just did."Now lets see what you have", said Corvo as he reached into the dead pony's saddlebag."A pickaxe, bandages, medical cloth, canned vegetables and 2 magical scrolls."What's the point of magic, this virus mainly killed unicorns". Magic was rarely ever seen. He then put all of the dead pony's belongings into his saddlebag. The sun dipped below the dead hills and the moon quickly overtook the sky. Corvo quickly went into a partially destroyed building. the old paint was peeling off the walls and the floor creaked with every step. Corvo found a mattress to sleep in. It wasn't in perfect condition but it was still pretty soft. Corvo took his saddlebag and put on top of the mattress which made a very soft poof. He sighed, wondering when he would get to ponyville. He simply laid down and snuggled with the saddlebag and hoped no one would steal anything. Corvo woke up with a grump. The blinding light from the window next to him pierced his eyes. He looked through the cracked window and witnessed the grey scene before him. If only we could all avoid this. His foggy brain scanned the room he was in."Nothing special here, time to get moving". 19 years, 7 months, 11 days and 5 hours. Travelling was never fun. Corvo's legs was tired, his shoulders ached and with the foggy air, it was a reason to stop and take a break. only 2 miles left to Ponyville. There was a big mossy field ahead of him. The dirt roads were covered in tall grass so it was difficult to tell if you were on the road. Corvo sighed and stopped for a moment. He reached in his saddlebag and pulled out the medical cloth he had gotten from his kill and wrapped it around his left forhoof. He massaged his temple in weariness."I'll rest now and start trav... he was stopped by a faint blur in the distance of the grey field."What the", Corvo said under his breath as he approached closer to the mysterious figure. But it was no used since the fog blocked his sight and in seconds, that figure was gone. Corvo rubbed his eyes."Must be going fucking crazy. Can't wait till i'm at Ponyville. But... I hope i can found something there. The Reason he wanted to go to Ponyville is that he has heard rumors that some weapons was stashed in the public library. Not wanting to stop, Corvo kept walking towards Ponyville. Once he got there, he passed through the demolished structures and dead trees. All the colour in Ponyville was gone, replaced with dullness and silent air. As he was walking, a group of bunnies started marching across him. Some of them gave him no attention while some started making quiet hissing noises at him. There was this one bunny who looked like a mess with many scars on it's body and covered in dirt. It jumped on Corvo's back and made an attempt to get to his saddlebag but sadly failed."Get the Fuck off of me you... you piece of shit", Corvo yelled at the bunny as he grabbed it's tail and tossed it across the air. It landed with a snap and in a few seconds it stopped moving. Corvo gave the bunny a frustrated look. The other group of bunnies showed no consideration to their fellow member and just kept walking, leaving that bunny dead. Corvo was still for a moment before shaking his head and came back the reality."Better find that library, i hope no pony is still there". Corvo kept walking down his original path only to stop again."I...I think i'm losing it", and with a loud sigh he kept walking. He passed many familiar landmarks he once knew like: Surger Cube Corner, the Carasol Butique and the very well-known Sweet Apple Acres. But instead of Nostalgic structures, all he saw were dead buildings quickly being over taken by vines and wild animals. It... It really was the only sight to well, ever see. But nothing could change what he once felt 20 years ago. He looked up at the sky which was still a very dark grey. Corvo once again made a loud sigh and kept moving. Giving no attention to his surroundings. After what seemed like hours of pointless walking, he found Ponyville's Public Library. Corvo walked up to the lifeless oak tree and to it's front door."I hope  what i'm looking for is here", he quietly said to himself as he reached for the door knob and started twisting it. He then pushed the old wooden door forward to open it. But..."wait, it's locked", he thought to himself with an expression of concern."Somepony must live here". He quietly pulled out his knife and with a powerful charge, he broke open the door only to find himself coughing from all the dust in the air. He scanned the room. Many books laid on the shelves. He saw some stairs leading to a second floor and to his left was a small wooden table."Everything was so...so...so neat. There wasn't anything misplaced or garbage on the floor. While he was witnessing the tidy library, he sensed somepony was behind him. "Aaaaaaahhhhhh", the mysterious pony made a scream as it jumped on Corvo with a knife. She tried to stab Corvo but he quickly moved his head and the knife ended up meeting the floor. With quick reflex, he rolled over with the mare on top of him and now he was on top. He pinned the mare's forhooves to the floor so that she was no longer a threat."Grrrr... let me go now or i swear you'll be sorry...Grrrr". "Stop moving and maybe i'll let you go". after minutes of squirming, she finally stopped and he slowly got off her. The mare panted and quickly moved away from him. He coat was lavender and she had a purple mane with a pink stripe going down her forehead. Her horn was badly cut and scratched and her wings... wait."Please...just...go", said the alicorn. "You must be Twilight Sparkle", said Corvo as he slowly approached her."Good try with the knife but if you really want to kill me then do it silently instead of screaming like that. A small blush went across Twilight's cheeks as she cleared her throat. "Um yeah, sorry about that. It's just, well... i'm scared of other pony's coming in my house". Corvo walked up to her but she just backed away."Please just go, i've been like this for years so please just"... a tear could be seen on Twilight's lavender eyes. "Listen, i don't know how your still alive but that shit doesn't matter. I've heard that there are some weapons here and i kinda need them. Twilight gave Corvo a blank stare but shook her head afterwords. "Please, Twilight started. I don't know what other pony's told you but there is nothing here". Corvo looked into her eyes and after a moment, he knew she was telling the truth. "What do you do here"? asked Corvo with a curious tone. "What"? Twilight was confused by the question. Corvo sighed and repeated himself. "What do you do hear... what do you do to survive"? Twilight gave him an uncomfortable look but started speaking. "Ever since my mentor Princess Celestia and my assistant Spike was killed, iv'e been living here by myself. I rarely get any other pony to come by but when i do, i just avoided it". Twilight had a despaired look on her face."My magic doesn't work as you see", she then pointed her eyes to her injured horn."And my wings are also in bad condition. I'm pretty much like an earth pony. Corvo gave her a cold stare but then his eyes softened. "I'm also an earth pony and i've been crossing Equestria a couple of months after that virus killed most of the ponies. Twilight noticed that it was getting dark and when it was dark, many other ponies who had survived would check the houses to find any other survivors or loot. "Wo...Would you like", Twilight was hesitant at first but managed to finish her sentence."Would you like to stay with me for the night". Corvo gave her a concerned glare. "You trust me"? Corvo asked taking a step back."You know Twilight, you shouldn't trust any pony at all. That will only get you killed in most situations. "But i trust you.. i mean, you seem like a trustable pony", said Twilight with confidence in her voice. "Tomorrow i'll be heading to Canterlot and see if i could find anything useful there. I suppose i could stay here for a night. I promise not to rob you or kill you". Twilight gave a slight chuckle."And i promise i won't kill you either". Corvo looked at her for a second and then started."Thanks". It's been a very long time since he has said those words."I'll trust you, for now". It was now morning, after a few minutes of them both getting up, they were both in front of the oak tree."I guess you'll be going to Canterlot". said Twilight while she slightly bit her lip."I'll be back", Corvo told her while giving a reassuring stare. Twilight couldn't help but smile a bit. And with that he was off to Canterlot, and hopefully wouldn't bump into anypony that would want to kill him! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 19 years, 7 months, 15 days and 1 hour. Nothing has really changed. Like...like at all. There has been many rumors recently going around. But that wasn't new news either. It's been an environment with no rules for nearly 20 years. These rumors are more of bounties. Ponies say bad things about other ponies and put a bounty on their head. This has happened to Corvo before, though not many times. He always manages to pull through... Some how. -- "Grrrrr", Corvo grunted as a knife got closer to his face. "What's wrong? Grrrrr, can't get yourself out of this one"? Another survivor was on top of Corvo, and quite literally had a sharp knife aimed for his eye. Now you know what it's like in Germaney. Corvo had both of his hooves against the other threat's hooves. Trying to not die, he kneed the other pony in the ribs, causing him to flinch. He then flipped over the survivor and forced the knife to be motioned to his neck. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can", the dark survivor stated as he forced his hooves down on the knife, stabbing the other pony straight through the neck. A small pile of blood formed around the dead body, that told Corvo that he could get off now. As he picked himself back up, his ear twitched. He quickly dodged out of the way as an arrow flew passed him, breaking in contact with the floor. "Nice reflex", said the mysterious voice from behind him. As Corvo looked, another earth pony came out of a pile of rubble, a bow in his hooves with another deadly arrow already loaded. With quick thinking, Corvo saw a nearby building and started running. He broke through the dark only to fall down a dark pit. He painfully rolled down until he hit a stone floor. Now usually, Corvo would take notice of his surroundings. But he couldn't this time. He felt an extremely sharp pain in his lower ribs. He slowly looked down, only to find an arrow sticking out of him. Corvo felt light headed and he could hardly breath. As his vision blurred, his last sight was a few dark figures getting closer to him. That was the last thing he saw. -- A Bon fire was all that was heard. And the rattling noise of chains every once in a while. His brain was foggy as he again heard the spitty noise of flames burning wood. Almost everything else was a blur, but it slowly came back. Corvo slowly opened his eyes. He breathed hard as he tried to move, but his whole body failed. He felt very tired, he was on something rough. Like some kind of scratched up cloth, he also felt a wet feeling on his forehead. He slowly moved his hoof to it, a wet cloth was around his forehead. He then finally took notice of his surroundings. A small fire was in front of him, causing a dim light to illuminate the area. He then got up, to his luck, his body didn't fail this time. He was indeed on a thin cloth. Corvo slowly walked by the fire, taking in some thought that he had no idea where he was. Then a voice spoke behind him. "Ah, you are finally awake, you are lucky i brought you here". Now usually, Corvo would turn around right away and see what threat was behind him. But instead he just slowly turned around. In front of him was a light brown mare wearing some kind of black hoodie. He didn't respond, he just listened."You lost quite a bit of blood from that arrow, but nothing I can't fix". Just the mention of the arrow, Corvo looked down to his ribs here he was recently shot. But was he saw was brown medical cloth wrapped around his waist with a red stain on it."Where am I"? He finally asked. The hooded mare only gave him soft eyes. "You are in the Underkeeper territory". As she said that, many other ponies formed from the shadows and circled them, all wearing the same black hoodie. "The Underkeeper"? Corvo asked, clearly confused since he has never heard of that name. The mare in front of him then started explaining."Germaney wasn't in very good living conditions, even before the virus. The Underkeepers are the people who run the under ground base of this city. It started about". She then put a hoof to her chin, trying to remember how long ago this base started."About 5 years after the virus". "So um, thanks for everything but can you show me the way out"? He asked as he picked up his saddle bag and firmly attached it to his back. "I see. You are in a hurry and must go. One of the members here will show you the way out". That's when a hooded stallion came up to Corvo and signaled him to follow him. "Wait, what's your name"? Corvo asked. "My name is Dalara", she humbly stated."And you are"? ."I'm Corvo". "Well then, see you later dear Corvo. And if you ever need us again, we will be here". With that, Corvo and the hooded stallion walked through an iron door which led to a tunnel."Now just go down this tunnel and you should be outside", the hooded member advised Corvo before turning back and leaving him. -- It sure was a long way to go. Corvo had been walking down this so called tunnel for nearly 10 minutes. That's when he saw it. A small speck of light in the distance. As he kept walking, the light got bigger and bigger. He also began to fell warmer for some reason. Then he got to the end. He reached the end and was now witnessing the most beautiful scenery he had ever seen in the past 30 years. He was nearly on top of a mountain, and in front of him a huge hill in the background with the sun barely touching the horizon. A wave of clouds softly passed by the middle of the bright orb. There were many small, grassy hills almost shaping out a circle. And in the middle was wide lake. Many fish could be seen from the distance and few birds flew freely in the air. Corvo took a moment to take it all in. There hasn't been a moment this amazing ever since he got married. But that thought was long gone, and Corvo tried to push it out of his head. The only sound to be heard was the humming of nature. And he just stayed there which felt like an eternity. It truly was a happy sight to see, but then again it was probably one of the only sights to see. After what felt like hours, Corvo finally gained conscious and started to move down the mountain. -- The dark survivor was now traveling against the coast line of the Equestrian canyon. It was midnight by now. Telling from the position of the moon. He was leaving Germaney since he didn't have much luck there. He passed Appleloosa and after hours of walking, was now on a dirt road. For some reason, he felt like going to Canterlot. He has been there before and even found princess Luna there. But other than that, he didn't have much business there. His luck was that no other pony tried to attack him. All this time, ever since he left Germaney, everything has been quite peaceful. By the time he climbed the mountain which Canterlot was on top of, and got on the main stone road, it was already dawn. The sun started to become visible just on top the opposite side of the horizon where it always sets. But why was he here. Something just told him to go here. Whatever it was, Corvo was already in the down town of Canterlot. He looked around the place. Many buildings were still demolished and grass littered the streets. After hours of looking around, he found something that caught his attention. An old-looking library was still standing in one piece. It had a couple of stain glass windows, although some were broken. The wooden doors were still intact and everything was just standing. So he decided to go inside. He opened the doors, making a very shrill squeak. He then looked around. There were many shelves scattered everywhere. Most of the books were still organized, while some were on the floor. There was also barely any plant life anywhere. Not on the stone walls or the wooden boards known as the floor. "I guess not a lot of people cared about reading ever since the virus came into place", he tried to think to himself although it came out loud. He found a book on the floor that surprisingly caught his attention. He picked it up to read the title."End of the world jokes: 1001 jokes on how Equestria might end". "Hm". He hummed at the irony of the book's title."Ponies were making apocalypse jokes like there's no tomorrow; to soon". He kept walking around, not sure why he was here. Then he heard a noise. Corvo quickly turned around to found nothing there. As he turned back, that noise returned. It sounded like a squeaking sound. then he noticed it. Whenever he moved his hoof, he would slightly move one of the wooden boards. Wait... they moved? Right away, the survivor kicked it aside, revealing emptiness. Then he noticed how the other boards around it seemed to move. As he pushed those aside, Corvo noticed that it was a hole. Not a dirt hole, but some kind of burrow that probably led to an underground room. But then he noticed how many shelves were on the sides of the hole. Filled with water and food. "Water and food down here? Is there somepony in here", he thought to himself as he put his head through the hole, which was probably now an underground bunker. Then another pony appeared right in front of him. It was a stallion, had alight brown coat and a darker brown, curly mane. But he didn't noticed Corvo. But that's when he looked up. For the first five seconds, they just stared at each other. Then the brown stallion was the first to act. "Aaaaahhh, no-no-no, just take whatever and spare me". He screeched in fear as he gathered many water bottles and canned foods that were on the shelves, and pointed it straight at Corvo. "Um", Corvo was kinda confused. then there was the awkward moment that lasted for the same five seconds like last time. Corvo just rolled his eyes and took some of the food and put it in his saddlebag. When the other survivor looked, he saw Corvo leaving. "Wait". He yelled back as he dropped the supplies in his hooves and came out of the burrow. Corvo just turned around with a bit of frustration in his face."So your not gonna kill me". "Do you want me to". He said in a sarcastic tone. "No-no-no it's fine". He answered quickly."So what's your name"? "Why". Corvo asked, already not trusting him. "Well, isn't it natural for you to ask for somepony's name when you first meet them"? "Yeah, it was natural, twenty years ago". Corvo answered in a bored tone before turning around for the door, only to be followed by the other brown pony."Why are you following me"? "Well you know. It's always a good thing to stick together. Oh wait, let me get something". In two seconds, the pony quickly went into his bunker, got his saddlebag and went back to the dark hunter."Just some things to keep me alive". "Aren't you eager". Corvo said with sarcasm in his voice. "The name's Thunder Strings, but just call me Strings". Just by the name, Corvo could see that he was a Pegasus. "If you really want to know, my name's Corvo". "Hm, cool name. So what do you do"? Strings was trying to get some information from Corvo. "I just travel". he answered in a very flat expression. "Any special talents. Mine is music". Strings then pointed to his cutie mark which was a musical note."What's your's"? "Surviving". Strings then saw his cutie mark. It was a six-pointed black star with an arrow on it. It really was a unique cutie mark. "So where are we going". Strings asked in curiosity. "Were going to Manehatten. Oh and one more thing". Then Corvo pointed a knife at the brown musician who froze right away."Just remember to watch your back". -- Manehatten was still the same. Though the population reduced. What awaited the survivors was still a mystery. It's really been 20 years huh. Nopony knows how it all started. Maybe it was just an experiment that lost track of it's purpose. //-------------------------------------------------------// Very Important message! //-------------------------------------------------------// Very Important message!
