" Oh crap."

Rainbow was stuck.

Before that even happened

Rainbow was looking at the ground as she flew. She could see plains of nothing and a small town up ahead. Her wings felt the rush of the wind. Her hair was flying back with a melody of the wind as it was rushed past. The house was behind her, but she didn't care. She wanted to get away as quickly as she could. If she went back, she would get in trouble with Twilight. And who wants that to happen? Not her.

Soon she came upon the outskirts of the town. Houses were there. Some kids were playing soccer in the fields and some adults were sitting and watching them play. If a kid found her up in the sky, she would get in trouble. Not a single cloud was up where she was. All of them were behind her or in the front, about 10 miles away. She couldn't risk it. Could she? If she went back, she would be getting into the zone of magic at the house. If she went forward, she would have about 5% of luck. And the left of it was to be seen by people.

There was some trees around the field. It was perfect! As long as nobody came around them, she would be hidden! She dove towards the trees and found a large bush to hide in. It was right at the place where you could see the game too.

After some 10 minutes a ball out of nowhere hit her. Rainbow looked around hoping that... Oh no! A kid was coming. She looked around nervously and kicked the ball out from the bushes. The kid looked at her and then ran back towards the game.

" Whew! That was close." Rainbow whispered to herself. This wasn't a good place to hide herself. She needed to get towards the other side of the town. Or a place where the ponies can move. She then looked at the kids playing and a girl was staring at her. Or more like the bush, from her side of view. The girl was moving slowly towards the bush, as she could make out some of her rainbow colored hair. Rainbow moved back trying to get to the tree without making any movement to show the kid.

The kid ran!

That girl looked at me like it was a dream come true.

" Rainbow Dash?"

"Umm... Yeh?"

The girl looked at her for a long time. she took big breath. I'm stuck Rainbow thought to herself. The kid's arm came towards her, but she moved back a little to be out of reach.

"It's ok Rainbow Dash. I'm your friend." The kid looked around and then said," Are you lost?"

Rainbow looked at her for a long time before she said," Nope. Now, can I go?"

"But don't you want to see my house? It's on the other side of the town and... I have a huge backyard you can play in!"

That got Rainbow's attention. " Well, I might come for a visit then."

"Come on Rainbow Dash, I'm going home now." The girl motioned her to follow her out into the field.

But Rainbow stayed still. "Oh. You don't want to let the other kids see you do you? Well... Can you fly?"

Rainbow thought for a moment. Could she trust that kid or not? She shrugged and nodded yes.

"Great! Then I will see you at my house! Oh and I have a treehouse in my backyard. And it's mostly filled with a garden and trees too!"

Then there was a yell and the kid turned around and ran to the source. Rainbow watched until every kid was gone with their parents.

Then Rainbow opened her wing, flapped them a little and went off flying toward the other side of the town.

It took Rainbow about a minute to find out that it's not easy to just fly off into the open air.

Kids down below pointed at her, but they could barely make out what it is. A few minutes past by before Rainbow came towards the other side of the town.

"Oh man. Next time I do that, I'm gonna get help from Egghead." She flew down to look for the kid's house but she couldn't make out which one. Almost all of the houses had huge backyards and trees.

Oh well. Got to take baby steps then.

Ten minutes later

There were 2 houses with a huge garden. There were 3 houses with tree houses. That was tough. Nobody was outside playing and the kid wasn't there either. Rainbow wondered about all of this, like a big mistake. She could easily just go home and say sorry to Twilight. But the kid was saying that she would... "Oh NO!"

Rainbow zoomed towards the closest tree she could find to hide. Just when she got a good spot, she saw the back door open and out came a small girl. Her jet-black hair ran with her as she came towards the center of the backyard. Her top was bright yellow with some pink flowers. Her short jeans had some drawings on them, and a chain was stuck in the middle like a belt but towards the right side. It had a charm on it. A red gem that looked like a lighting bolt. It looked like her cutie mark. A lot like her cutie mark.

The kid looked up. She waved her hand at the tree. Wait. No. She waved at Rainbow! She moved backwards but stumbled into a branch and felt the wind knocked out of her. Rainbow saw her own life go by at that moment. She saw herself as a small filly sitting on the clouds. A young colt was next to her, with some fire looking tips of flame at the end of his main and tail. His coat was white and he had a huge smile on his face. Her head turned and she saw a bigger pony next to her. He was a smiling rainbow hair pony with a purple coat. She looked back to the colt and blushed. He looked kinda cute, in her opinion.

Then a flash came by and the next scene was about the first time she had seen Alex. Then the next one was about the day after they watched the movie. The movie felt so familiar to her, as if she had actually experienced it. But she knew that was silly since she hadn't. Then the next scene was about her fight with Twilight about flying into town. It took about 10 minutes flying as fast as she could in order to escape Twilight's magic zone so that Twilight could not get her back. She then decided to never come back. She just felt like it wasn't time yet. Twilight needed a lot of time to cool down after a fight.

Rainbow soon felt something on her back. She opened her eyes slowly and looked at a face which scared her. The kid caught her before falling to her doom. She flew up and looked at the kid. The girl waved her hand again.

"Hi Rainbow Dash! Sorry I'm late. I've changed to my Rainbow Dash clothes. Just for you!"

Rainbow stared at her. She came down a little with her wings flapping so she could land. Once she was on land, she trotted around the kid and asked her, " What's your name kid?"

"Friends call me Jan."  Rainbow looked at the garden at the far end of the huge backyard. A lot of trees, and some tasty looking plants and flowers. Rainbow stared at them as her stomach rumbled. Jan looked on where she was looking at and gave a small chuckle.

" Go head, Rainbow Dash. You can eat them." Rainbow trotted towards them and sniffed. The aroma came into her nose as the sweet smell of flowers. She fought off eating them right away, but maybe she could have them made into something else...

" Um... can you make a flower sandwich?" Rainbow turned around and said that.

" How do you make a flower sandwich?"

" Well get 2 piece of bread and some flowers from this garden. Get some big leaves for more flavor and put them together. That's the basics of it." Rainbow told the recipe for Fluttershy's sandwich and looked at Jan.

" Well, ok. But tell me which ones you want."

After eating the sandwiches( with no dirt)

It was getting late into the night. Sundown was soon gone. Rainbow and Jan walked towards the tree house. The tree house was big. But not too big. It was small. But not too small. So you could say that it was the right size for a small kid to move around. There were some pillows and a blanket waiting for Rainbow.

" Well, I'll see you in the morning Rainbow Dash." Jan soon closed the one and only entrance to go outside. The windows were too small for Rainbow to go out. Soon she felt tired and fell asleep.

Rainbow woke up with the sun-. Wait a sec here! It was still night! She opened her eyes wide in horror. The memories of what happened soon came back to her. She got up and looked around. She was trapped! The windows were too small  and the only door had a handle that was too small for her hoofs. And teeth.

Rainbow panicked. What would the girls think of this? Would they come looking for her? Or will they just stay home and wait until she came back? Rainbow looked around her surroundings and sighed.

"Oh crap."

Rainbow was stuck.
