A letter to you...

I want to write a letter to you.

About my day, my week, my life without you.

I have traveled throughout Equestria far and wide.

With my friends cheering me on and staying by me side.

I miss you alot and wish you could come back.

Maybe I would have stayed instead of escaping on intact.

I want you to know I am sorry for what I have done.

And I hope your watching and proud of me.

For my new life has just begun.

I have been writing to you for a while it has been a year and seven days.

Most days I cant help but cry and whisper your name.

I want to believe thing might have been alright in my once home.

But even you know something inside me was saying ' I am all alone '

I love it when I see you in my dreams.

It's like nothing else can bother us it's just you and me.

You talk about when you were young and all your talents.

It's so good until I wake up knowing it didn't really happen.

I want to have the same eyes as you.

Seeing the world as something bright, beautiful and new.

I saw it like that until  she came into the picture.

She made me so mad sometimes I wanted to smack her.

I want you back! I cant take it anymore!

i want you to be here! and when you hear me crying come knock on my door!!

I know how you died and it breaks my heart.

I know that you hear me but don't answer me! That tears me apart..

I love looking at your picture it makes me smile.

I just sit and dream about you, sit for a little while.

You are probably saying " Running away wasn't the answer.

you should have faced your problems. Even if I couldn't face my cancer."

I have seen many places Manehatten and all.

I have helped all my friends and baked to the 4th wall.

I wish you could see the beautiful lights of Los Pegasus.

And have adventures with me through Maretopalis.

My friends and I do research and find new things.

My life is great with many wonders and dreams.

I have a special somepony.

She is a kind and caring pony.

Her name is Fluttershy and YES she is a mare.

Most ponies judge but we don't care

I love her like I love my sister and I will do anything for her.

When she is scared or sad I am there to comfort her.

Pink Blossom is doing fine. Missing her the way when we hugged I could feel her heartbeat

Oh how I miss her laugh and the way she will laugh with me.

I also miss my mom and dad.

I left them and I know they are sad.

They knew where I was going though so they know I am safe.

I wish I could write to them so they know; just in case.

I want to be with them and see them smile.

But they know I will have to come back after a while.

Perhaps in ten moons when the portal opens to the mist.

I will go visit them and se how much I have missed.

That is correct I have been here for now twenty moons.

I am afraid they would have thought I will be back soon.

Two years I have missed so much.

My dear baby sister's first steps and my high school graduation and such.

To hear my family laugh one more time would make my day.

But I do not regret leaving to Equestria and running away.

I wish I could tell you all of this in person.

I know I have much to learn and I am still learning.

I love and miss you. But want you to get the catch.

i am sorry for all of this nonsense but I needed to and you know it.

Ditzy Sketch

She sat there for a moment reading what she wrote. Fluttershy came in and announced she was going to bed.

" I will be there in a minute Shy" She replied to the beautiful pegasus. Fluttershy simply nodded.

Ditzy walked over to a box filled with all her letters. She placed the newly written letter in a bow then sat it in the box.

She sat and looked at the box for a moment. When her eyes filled with tears she started to sniffle.

She felt her mare friends wing around her.

" I know you miss her a lot but, don't you think she would want you to be happy??" The quiet voiced mare said. She nuzzled Ditzy on the neck. " Come to bed. We need to meet the girls to go to Canterlot tomorrow. Celestia wants to check up on you."

The tired unicorn turned and nodded with a smile.

" Ok lets go. " They got up and walked to the bedroom. We climbed into the bed and said our goodnights with a kiss. Right as she was about to go to sleep Ditzy heard an all to familiar voice. It was faint. She got up realizing her companion was already asleep. She went to the source on the patio of there little cottage. She heard the voice from on the bridge and looked over to see a pale carmel brown earth pony smiling at her. She couldn't place the new pony at first but then, son realized who she was.

She galloped over to see the earth pony had vanished.

" Cherry Twinkle!?" She heard the voice behind her and saw she was only feet away from her..

" I am so proud of you" The ghostly figure said " I wanted to tell you that." Ditzy was trembling. She reached out to touch her grandmother and found her hoof was on the caramel coat.

" I   I can feel you." Cherry smiled and stepped forward.

" I love you so much" Cherry pulled her granddaughter into a warm embrace.

Ditzy Sketch was crying on Cherry's coat. She knew she would only get to see her for a few moments.

" I want you back! " Ditzy cried. her grandmother stroked her mane.

" Shhhh..... We will be together someday. Just wait. " She pulled from the embrace. " I will always be in your dreams. Now go to bed, like Fluttershy said; you have a big day tomorrow."

" When will I get to see you again??" The white unicorn asked.

" In your dreams.. Now. Go and change Equestria." With those last words she vanished.

" Ditzy come back inside your gonna freeze your flank off!!!" She herd Fluttershy say. She looked to the cottage and saw her lover standing outside shivering. Ditzy looked up to the stars and saw them all 'Twinkling' down at her.

" Thank you, Grandma Cherry" she said before running to her marefreind.

She couldn't wait to go to sleep and dream of her Cherry Twinkle smiling at her......
