In the Shadows

                   Twilight Sparkle was having an absolutely wonderful evening star gazing.She had seen Orion,The Big Dipper,The Little Dipper,Hercules, and etc. Then she saw an odd black ripple forming in the forest when she tried to look over in that direction in the sky.What the heck is that?Twilight wondered to herself as she stared at it.Spike i think we should get the girls together.Twilight said worryingly. She got her bags and some supplies and ran over to Pinkie Pie's.Pinkie Pie. Twilight whispered just loud enough the pink mare would hear her.HI! Pinkie Pie yelled excitedly! Twilight literally jumped 4 feet high after Pinkie suprised her.Pinkie what the heck? Twilight whispered harshly. ohh we're being ninjas.Pinkie said quietly understanding.Before twilight could say anything pinkie was in a ninja outfit. How did you?Twilight started.I stash ninja suits around if there's ever a ninja emergency.Pinkie whispered excitedly. Twilight just shrugged and they went on their way to Applejack's place.It took them 20 minutes of Pinkie nonstop talking to get there but Twilight had survived the trip.They ran through the orchard to find Applejack and Rainbow Dash Arguing.Yah shouldn't be goin round and eatin all ah our apples.Applejack yelled. Well i like to eat fresh apple.Rainbow Dash yelled back at her. GIRLS! Twilight yelled to get their attention. Applejack and Rainbow Dash instantly stopped and turned at the now pissed off Twilight. Lets go and don't even think about arguing on the way. Twilight said like a parent punishing their kids. Why are we going and where. Applejack and Rainbow Dash said at the same time. To the Everfree something is going on out there that isn't normal even for the Everfree.

               They took a good 40 minute jog there with Applejack and Rainbow Dash bickering a few times.When they got to Fluttershy's cottage they say her cowering in the corner and Twilight had to pick her up with magic just to get her to come.Twilight realized she'd forgotten Rarity with a little groan and slap to her own face.She was so fed up she teleported to Rarity's grabbed her and teleported back. Rarity however had gotten her mirror right before the teleport. She look at herself in the mirror and saw the odd black ripple. What in the world? Rarity said confused. She looked to where the ripple was and didn't see it.Twilight dear look at this. Rarity said. What?Twilight asked as she looked in the mirror. Hmm so the disturbance can only be seen through glass. Twilight said like she was the smartest person in the world (which she probably was). Then it opened a bit more and Twilight could see it with her regular eyes now. It kept opening more and more until it got to the size a stallion could fit through.A black figure was shot out and it revealed to be a stallion but he had the muzzle of a mare oddly enough.The ripple closed up to the size only a mirror could see it again. I think he might need a hospital. Twilight said worryingly. But what if he is a trick from some monster? Fluttershy said worried. Well do you want him to die? Twilight asked her. Well uh no... Fluttershy said. Well it's settled then. Applejack said as the put the odd stallion on her back. They walked back to the town together with the unconcious stallion.
