"Mommy! My cutie mark!" Apple Eve cheered. An apple in front of a lightning bolt.

"Well, lookie there, sugarcube." Applejack hugged her daughter, "Ah'm proud of you. Big Mac! Apple Bloom! Granny Smith! Come on out here!"

"What is it, Applejack?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Apple Eve got 'er cutie mark. Ain't it great?" Applejack cheered.

"Eeyup." Big Man said.

"Mom, aren't I old enough to do some apple bucking?" Apple Eve asked.

"Y'all just ain't strong enough yet." Applejack replied.

"You call this weak?" Apple Eve walked over to a tree.

"Apple Eve, don't-" Applejack was cut off when she bucked the tree, all the apple landing perfectly in surrounding buckets.

"Well, would you look at that. Fine, go ahead'n get to work. Y'all should know what to do." Applejack smiled.

"This hat here, goes the an Apple when another dies." Applejack showed her daughter her hat.

"How old is it?" she asked.

"Yer great-great-grandfather bought when he was mah age."

"Can you tell me more stories about our family?" the filly asked.

"Sure, y'know, this hat saved yer grandfather once."

"We're gathered here today to honor a great Apple." some lawyer or something said, "She was strong, brave, and had a great family. All..." He quickly checked his notes, "...269 of them. In death, she was not scared. Though she made many mistakes in life, she does not regret them."

Apple Eve whipped a tear from her eyes, then received comfort from Apple Bloom.

"Today, we are here to honor the life of Applejack, the Element of Honesty."
