After a dear friend of hers grows ill, Twilight faces the fact that her friends will die, and she will be without them forever. When everything goes wrong, her friends are all heart broken, esspecially Rainbow Dash, and Twilight doesn't want to face the same thing four more times. She seeks guidance from princess Celestia as to whether or not she should cast a spell to return her to being a mortal unicorn. Or should she keep her wings for the greater good of every pony to ever live. Twilight is unsure when faced with the fact that she has one year to decide whether or not to keep her wings before the Alicorn spell becomes permanent. Celestia knows only that she was faced with the same decision once, the greater good or watching everypony she ever loved die.
