It has been three hundred years since the beginning of the 'Harmony Age', a time where two worlds, Equestria, and Equestria's sister world, filled with it's own version of humans, came to know each other under the guidance of Princess Twilight Sparkle. Both now live in harmony, and, with her daughter in mind, Twilight has brought Evening Star, the daughter of herself and Flash, to the world of the humans for a better education whilst continuing her study of interdimensional travel.

Now seventeen years old, Evening Star is every thing her mother isn't. Where Twilight Sparkle is calm, collected, mature and professional, Evening Star is loud, rambunctious, rebellious and refuses to fall in line with what is expected of her.

And when Evening Star and Twilight Sparkle get into yet another argument and Star decides to shatter the hand mirror her mother has spent the last century working on, it all ends with Star finding herself in a whole new world that she doesn't understand or fit into, but will be damned if she doesn't carve herself a spot any way.
